Bolivia - January 14, 2026

After 3 weeks of the indefinite general strike to the cry of “Bolivia is not for sale, it must be defended!” and “Down with the government of starvation!”

The COB (Bolivian Workers' Trade Union) bureaucracy called off the mobilization behind the backs of the rank and file, making a pact with the IMF-led government and the multinationals:

An infamous trap and betrayal by the COB leadership to save the lackey government of the gringos

The attack on the people continues by taking away subsidies the subsidies on fuel, tightening laws for cracking down on workers; a brutal national debt is imposed, and all natural resources are handed over—guaranteed by a Legislative Assembly whose absolute majority are servants to the multinationals and the US. There is nothing to celebrate! No “partial victory”! The “government’s arm was not twisted”!

We must reject the pact guaranteed by the COB bureaucracy…

DOWN WITH THIS INFAMOUS TRAP SET BY THE US, PAZ GOVERNMENT, THE MULTINATIONALS, AND THE COB BUREAUCRACY!

The government is replacing Supreme Decree 5503 in consensus with the COB bureaucracy, issuing a new decree, Supreme Decree 5516, which carries the same policy of attacking the masses and surrendering the nation to imperialism. Furthermore, this decree endorses redundancies in state-run companies, including the state-owned mines of Colquiri and Huanuni… They have changed a few words only to reaffirm and deepen their attack against the poor! Enough is enough!

The mobilised workers and peasants had victory at hand through the General Strike, the barricades against police repression, and the fight against government persecution. The Bolivian revolution of workers and peasants was rising, threatening to topple the government of Rodrigo Paz—a Wall Street puppet- and his plan for plunder and colonialism at the service of the gringos. With their infamous pact, the COB leaders have diverted the masses from the path of revolution and once again saved the executioner governments… Yesterday it was Áñez, then Arce, and now Rodrigo Paz. But the exploited have not said their last word and they have not surrendered… It is their leaders who betray them!

The fighting committees of workers and peasants are the ones who must have a say in their struggle… The rank and file fight… the rank and file decide!

Out with the stooge government of Paz and Lara! Out with them all, not a single one should remain!

In the face of the repressive bills being prepared by the government and the capitalists,  and to ensure the streets do not run red with blood again as they did in Senkata and Sacaba in 2019: Self-defence committees, aimed at establishing a workers' and peasants' militia as in 1952! For Committees of rank-and-file soldiers to detain any officer who gives the order to crack down and kill the people!

BOLIVIA IS NOT FOR SALE!

THE “ECONOMIC EMERGENCY” IS DECIDED
AND APPLIED BY THOSE WHO FIGHT

Make the capitalists pay for the crisis! For a revolutionary solution by the workers and peasants…

To secure bread, jobs, and a living wage, we must expropriate the expropriators of the people:

NATIONALISATION WITHOUT COMPENSATION AND UNDER WORKERS' CONTROL OF ALL HYDROCARBONS AND MINES
That is where the funds are to recover the wealth stolen by the gringos, the multinationals, and the cooperative bosses

The "Media Luna" oligarchy and the gangs of thieving capitalists want to indebt Bolivia even further to foreign banks, as Paz already announced with the 4.5 billion from the IDB (Inter-American Development Bank), which the people will pay for with more hunger, misery and inflation. We must end the usurious debt to global banking now! Out with imperialist banks!

State must takeover of all banking, without compensation, under the control of the COB and the unions of the poor peasants

Expropriation without compensation of the land held by the "Media Luna" oligarchy to give it to the poor peasantry!

OUT WITH THE IDB AND THE IMF FROM BOLIVIA!
OUT WITH THE GRINGOS!

The time is now! For the struggle to triumph, we must kick out the collaborationist leaders who for years have tied our hands and subjected us to the governments of the capitalists and US lackeys:

For a militant pole to reclaim our organisations for the struggle…

FOR A REVOLUTIONARY LEADERSHIP OF THE COB!

For a revolutionary provisional government of workers and peasants!

Make way for self-organisation and workers' democracy! Let every action be voted on in assemblies, and those who do not like it CAN LEAVE AS SCABS AND SELL-OUTS.

So that the Bolivian people may live and the decrees of the gringos and the paid traitors of the bosses are buried… We must topple the servant government of Trump and Wall Street!
