Europe - October 23, 2026

The working class and the rebellious youth of Italy, with the General Strike of 2025, took the first step towards a today’s French May type uprising of  workers and youth across Europe

Following the path of 2025…

On October 30, workers from over 100 ports across the Mediterranean Sea and the United States, with the support of Palestinian trade unions, are calling for a General Strike against the genocide in Gaza and the whole Palestine

No supplies or weapons must reach the hands of Zionism or imperialism, which are carrying out massacres in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran and the entire Middle East!

On October 30, let all labor organizations around the world stand up and coordinate the struggle alongside the dockworkers!

Forward to an International General Strike!

To defeat fascism and for the working class to live,
WE MUST FIGHT IMPERIALISM!

On October 30th, workers at more than 100 ports will carry out an internationalist general strike in support of Gaza and the entire occupied Palestine, under the battle cry: “dockworkers do not work for war!”
Ports in Italy, France, Greece, the Basque Country, Ireland, Morocco, Cyprus, Turkey, India, Mexico, among others will be blocked to halt the murderous hand of the US and Zionism, which are supported by all the imperialist powers.
Dockworkers from the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU), Local 10, in Oakland will also take part in this international strike, fighting from within the very belly of the US imperialist beast. This is the way to fight!

From tormented Palestine, Palestinian trade unions support the international day of action on October 30 and are calling on all port, maritime, and transport unions worldwide to join the strike that day. At the same time, they continue to advocate for an International General Strike, calling for a new global day of action in November. This is the way forward!

For the working class in Italy and across the Mediterranean Sea ports, the enemy is at home! An internationalist strike of the European proletariat

By uniting across borders, dockworkers seek to paralyze the murderous war machine of the US pirates and the butchers of imperialist Europe, who are arming Zionism to the teeth.
This is a powerful example of militant internationalism, representing a significant step beyond the purely symbolic or awareness-raising actions previously taken in support of Gaza such as the Flotilla. By shutting down ports, the capitalist and imperialist transnational companies are attacked where it hurts most: their profits and their property. This is the power the working class possesses to halt the genocides and massacres orchestrated by imperialist powers!

Workers in Italy together with the working-class and student youth are the internationalist vanguard of the mass revolutionary struggles in Europe

The strike on October 30th was initially called by dockworkers in Genoa, Livorno and other Italian cities, which have been the vanguard of the struggle in support of Gaza. In October last year, the Italian working class and rebellious youth held a massive general strike against the genocide in Palestine. They even forced the trade union bureaucracy of the CGIL, which had previously betrayed the general strike held in September 2025, to endorse this new action, despite the leadership's own opposition.

The Italian working class has transformed the Palestinian flag into a banner of struggle for the masses, linking the Palestinian cause to their own demands for better wages, employment, education, and healthcare, in opposition to the Meloni government.

For this reason, today’s workers, rebellious youth and the exploited in Italy stand at the vanguard of the revolutionary struggle currently shaking all of Europe, from France to the Spanish State, to Greece to Portugal, to Belgium to Eastern European nations like Albania and Serbia, where the Palestinian flag is also raised during every demonstration and struggle action of the masses.

From all the mobilized mass sectors across Europe:
Stand with the dockworkers in support of the Palestinian masses!
Everyone to Genoa in order to coordinate one single, common struggle from Portugal to the Russian steppes!

The international call for October 30th places on the agenda the coordination of workers across all of Europe, from Portugal to the Russian steppes, against the imperialist Maastricht and the capitalist pro-imperialist slavery governments of Eastern Europe.
The traitors of the trade union bureaucracies such as the CGIL, France’s CGT, or Spain’s CCOO and UGT are turning a blind eye. They are pushing for “peaceful walkouts” in their respective countries, scheduled for November, in an effort to wear down the ongoing struggles or divert them into electoral traps in order to ensure that the power of the exploiters endure.
These union bureaucracies are all grouped together in a single organization gathering all the trade union federations in the continent, the European Trade Union Confederation; yet, they are fragmenting the struggles of the European masses, country by country, while turning their backs on the Palestinian people!

Enough! We must break the blockade imposed by these sell-out union bureaucracies by employing methods such as mass assemblies, direct democracy, and self-organized coordination committees!
The conditions are ripe for a unified, continent-wide struggle against the genocide in Palestine —this is the same struggle against the rearmament and war budgets of the imperialist powers, which are offloading the full weight of their crisis onto the working class through slave-like labor conditions, the stripping away of hard-won rights, and attacks on healthcare, education, and more!
This is what unions like Italy’s USB are calling for, a nationwide General Strike on October 30th, while the leadership of the CGIL has set its own date to hold the strike on November 20th and continues to support the Meloni government.
We cannot wait another minute! The day for a European General Strike must be October 30th!

From all the fighting organizations of workers, youth, and the exploited across a revolted Europe: let us send delegations to Genoa to establish an International Struggle Committee, coordinating our fight alongside dockworkers and Palestinian trade unions!

Open the road for proletarian internationalism!
Open the road for an International General Strike!

For Palestine, currently being massacred by Zionism, which is propped up by the imperialist pirates… we call on trade unions and workers' organizations worldwide to adopt the October 30th call to action!

Let this be the first step for achieving an International Revolutionary General Strike and the beginning of a struggle plan, in which all trade unions, militant workers' organizations and anti-imperialist groups organize a fudraise to collect one day’s wage per worker to deliver effectively funds, medicine, food, supplies, and volunteer brigades to unite with the Palestinian unions and enter to fight alongside the Palestinian masses!

All currents that identify themselves as leftist or anti-imperialist must promote the October 30th call within every workers' organization- on that day, let us take to the streets, holding demonstrations and actions across the globe!

For the destruction of the Zionist-fascist state of Israel!
Death to imperialism!

For the Socialist United States of Europe!

For the Socialist United States of the Middle East!

Italian port workers block a ship carrying US military cargo:

"The port is closed to you. You are not welcome here. We oppose the war machine and refuse to allow any type of weaponry or military supplies to pass through our ports. The port workers are on strike and will not load your ship. They do not want to be complicit in genocide. They work to feed their families, not to murder innocent children. Change course and leave."
