Statement by Claudia from the International Network for the Liberation of the World Political Prisoners and Justice to Our Martyrs

Hello, I am Claudia Pafundi, a member of the Commission of Convicted Workers, Relatives and Friends of Las Heras, and we are part of the International Network for the Liberation of the World Political Prisoners and Justice to Our Martyrs.
We want to call on everyone to fight together across borders to confront the war declared on us by imperialism and all the regimes and governments that have filled the world with prisoners for fighting.

We understood this need when we confronted the Kirchner government and imperialist oil companies like Repsol in 2006, which were plundering our land in Las Heras, Santa Cruz. The oil workers rose up against the wage tax and the precarious working conditions imposed by that government, which persecuted us, imprisoned dozens of workers, and held six comrades for more than 3 years, suffering torture. The government sent the Gendarmerie and intelligence services to occupy our town, reminding us of the dark days of the Videla regime.

It is etched in our memory that in 2013 we broke through the prison walls and joined the Palestinian prisoners, like our comrade Samer al-Issawi and the prisoners in Jerusalem occupied by the Zionist-fascist state of Israel. They went on hunger strikes in solidarity with us, as did Georges Abdallah in France, who was imprisoned for over 40 years for fighting for the Palestinian cause, and the Basque pro-independence prisoners.

With them we set up the International Network, also uniting with the JRCL-RMF of Japan and the Zengakuren youth. We fought alongside the Syrian revolutionaries such as Abu al-Baraa and the comrades of the León Sedov Brigade who fell to the bullets of the genocidal al-Assad and Putin. We fought alongside the families of the 43 Ayotzinapa normalistas (teaching school students, NT) disappeared by the Mexican State, alongside the relatives of the 34 miners murdered by the AngloAmerican and the ANC in Marikana in South Africa. We fought with the families of the martyrs of Senkata and Sacaba during the coup of Áñez and the US imperialism in Bolivia and with the families of the martyrs of Juliaca and all of Peru. We fight alongside the wounded, persecuted and prisoners of the First Line of Chile and Colombia.
We speak from Argentina, governed by Milei, an accomplice to the genocide in Palestine and a lackey of the US imperialism who have unleashed a brutal attack on us and who have imprisoned Eneas Gallo and Milton Tolomeo for fighting against the labor reform. Mapuche leader Facundo Jones Huala remains detained in Chubut, and Naum and Damián, activists from the 2021 Chubutazo uprising, are under house arrest. Freedom for all our comrades! Dismissal of charges against Vanina Biassi of the Partido Obrero of Argentina and Ze María, leader of the LIT in Brazil, who are being persecuted for fighting for Palestine!

We all vibrated during the 50 days of revolutionary struggle in Bolivia, which showed how to confront the plunder across the continent. Today, the lackey government of Paz, after the betrayal of the COB (Bolivian Workers' Center), has deployed the army to the streets! Down with the State of Emergency! Freedom for all those detained! US IMPERIALISM OUT OF BOLIVIA, ARGENTINA, AND LATIN AMERICA!

Freedom for Mohammad Hannoun, Riyad Albustanji, Raed Dawoud, and Yaser Elasaly, detained detained in Italy for more than 200 days for confronting the Zionist genocide! Down with the persecution of Anasse Kazib of the Révolution Permanente group, persecuted by the French imperialist justice system for showing solidarity with the Palestinian cause!
We send our unconditional solidarity to Yasser Ahmadinejad, the Iranian oil worker fired for confronting the bosses and the union bureaucracy, who is now detained and sentenced to 33 months in prison. We will not rest until the thousands of prisoners in Iranian jails, brutally tortured and mercilessly executed, are freed! The strength to defeat US imperialism and their colonial war in the Middle East lies with the Iranian workers joining forces with the exploited people of massacred and occupied Palestine!

In the United States, people rose up for Palestine and confronted ICE, Trump's Gestapo, defending migrants who are being deported or detained in veritable concentration camps. Freedom now for all detainees! Down with the brutal sentences! No justice, no peace!
We call upon all workers' organizations worldwide to launch a massive INTERNATIONAL DAY OF STRUGGLE FOR THE FREEDOM OF ALL OUR PRISONERS AND MARTYRS. From the Palestinian trade unions, together with pro-Palestinian organizations in the United States, Italy, and Europe, to all workers' and anti-imperialist organizations in Latin America… FOR AN INTERNATIONAL GENERAL STRIKE!
There will be neither forgetting nor forgiveness for the genocide in Gaza! Down with the death sentences the Zionist-fascist state of Israel seeks to impose! MAY THE MIDDLE EAST BE THE GRAVE OF IMPERIALISM AND ITS ZIONIST HENCHMAN!
