Middle East - April 8, 2026 - 7pm
The “ceasefire” has begun
Through the “Greater Israel,” imperialism seeks to impose the USA “pax” in the Middle East
We must defeat the Zionist State of Israel!
Amidst the “ceasefire” negotiations in Iran, regarding the collection of tolls in the Strait of Hormuz, Trump stated: “We’re thinking of doing it as a joint venture (with Iran). It’s a way of securing it, also securing it from lots of other people. It's a beautiful thing. ”
That is to say, Trump is offering the Iranian clerics a deal where he manages the toll-collecting business in Hormuz, with them receiving a small share of the loot. This proposal is based on thousands upon thousands of deaths!
This is one of the oil and waterway businesses that Wall Street parasites are after. They know that from there, and by making deals with a wing of Iran's Shiite bourgeoisie as a junior partner, they would control not only the Strait of Hormuz and the multi-million dollar tolls, but also the oil and gas that supplies China, Japan, India, and Europe, which today has its supply of cheap Russian gas cut off due to Putin's occupation of Ukraine.
This is what the US imperialism is after. This is the engine of war: oil. Its agent is “Greater Israel.” That is why Zionism is carrying out a relentless bombing on Lebanon, to seize a portion of its territory, yielded by the despicable Maronite bourgeoisie of Beirut, while it prepares for even more offensive military actions to occupy Syria and parts of Iraq…
We are witnessing the “oil wars.” A US victory in Iran would lead to the immediate encirclement of China. Consequently, China moved quickly, via Pakistan, to serve as a power broker for the “peace plan.” An export-driven China seeks to keep trade routes open and, without a doubt, if the US prevails in Iran, China is ready to pay the toll.
Meanwhile, the European imperialist powers, observing the US offensive for spheres of influence in the Middle East, are calling for arming themselves and raising enormous armies.
Trump threatens to withdraw from NATO because it did not support the US in its offensive against Iran.
France, now isolated, announces the expansion of its nuclear program and has offered its atomic-capable aircraft to the rest of the European powers. Macron proposes recruiting 50,000 more men over the next two years, has increased the military budget by €36 billion, and threatens Russia with an attack at the first attempt to advance into its spheres of influence. Germany has placed all men aged 18 to 25 on a conscription list, with the possibility of forced conscription, and requires them to declare any intention to leave the country for more than three months. Meloni of Italy states that she will buy cheap oil from Russia, even breaking the blockade imposed on Putin by the US. England has gone fishing in the North Sea for Russian submarines, warning them to stay away from its spheres of influence.
The European imperialist powers are baring their fangs, showing their teeth, and beginning a general rearmament.
A crossroads has opened up in the Strait of Hormuz and in Iran: the US's path to control oil routes, using them to penetrate or make deals with the Beijing bourgeoisie and subjugate Japan, while isolating imperialist Europe from sources of cheap raw materials; and the path of the European imperialist powers seeking not to lose their spheres of influence in both the Middle East and Eastern Europe…
The fact that the European imperialist powers (which were the central protagonists of two world wars) are arming themselves in the face of the danger of being encircled by the US offensive and the breakdown of Maastricht is an indication that the path is being paved for the mother of all wars: the fight for the control of the Chinese domestic market and Russia's enormous energy and raw material wealth.
The European and US proletariat have prevented this process from unfolding openly, violently, and rapidly.
Trump cannot deploy troops to the Middle East. That is why he needs “Greater Israel” more and more. He needs it to crush Gaza, Syria, southern Lebanon…
Therefore, the battle of Tehran will be won in Gaza, by crushing the state of Israel and by means of the US working class overthrowing Trump now, before it is too late.
The Iranian bourgeoisie, seeking to maintain its businesses, will undoubtedly make a deal with the US imperialism if it receives a good offer.
The Iranian bourgeoisie is seeking to negotiate its share of these deals, and it will do so secretly, behind the backs of Iran's already starving masses. This is the essence of this 15-day impasse and its negotiations with the US, where China and Pakistan are acting as mediators. Trump accepts and demands the supremacy of US imperialism in business throughout the region.
It is now clear that the US wants no more intermediaries, no more regional powers to maintain order on the oil routes of the Maghreb and the Middle East, as Turkey and Iran did to ensure the crushing, diverting, and control of the revolutionary processes that began in the region after the US defeat in Iraq in 2008.
Trump himself has said that he needs to resolve Iran quickly because he wants to go to war and crush Turkey, which ended up managing a large part of the business with European imperialist oil companies through its gas and oil pipelines and the areas it controlled politically and militarily, such as parts of Syria, Iraq, and Libya. Turkey has placed British Petroleum, Total, ENI, and Shell under its protection in the region. Erdogan even went as far as the Caucasus, militarily occupying Azerbaijan and negotiating Armenia's withdrawal from Nagorno-Karabakh. Thus they remained pumping oil from Azerbaijan and its capital Baku, from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean.
The US imperialism refuse to share any raw materials with imperialist Europe, not even in the Middle East, and even less so to let them receive cheap Russian gas again as they were doing for years.
There are already too many imperialist powers. Their monopolies are fiercely scrambling over the global market. If one imperialism prospers, the other suffers. That is what imperialism is all about: a capitalist system in decomposition that is increasingly pushing human civilization toward barbarism and war.
Ultimately, US policy is to strangle imperialist Maastricht Treaty so the US can go directly for Moscow and Beijing, leaving in ruins the European market, which developed and strengthened from the Russian steppes to Portugal after the 2008 Wall Street crisis.
The USA, together with Zionism, launched a counter-revolutionary offensive to capitalize on the defeats and deviations of the revolutionary wave that swept the Middle East from their retreat from Iraq in 2008 until 2017-2019.
When the revolution began in Syria in 2011, USA was in no position to intervene. Not only there, but in any decisive process of the revolutions in the Maghreb and the Middle East. The US imperialism had left Iraq with their backs broken. They were broken by the US and European masses. Zionism had lost all its firepower. If it had fired at that moment, the spark from Tunisia would have finished setting Tel Aviv ablaze. The same US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Middle East Policy declared before the US Congress that the only thing they could do after their retreat from Iraq was to call on the Russians to intervene to support al-Assad and contain the mobilizations that threatened to reach Jerusalem from Damascus.
The US has returned to the Middle East to stay.
The disputes between imperialist powers over spheres of influence are fought with gunfire and wars.
Europe, now marginalized, with its European market fractured and dislocated, is licking its wounds and rearming, as we have seen. The drums of war are beating. The limits are set by the masses.
No imperialist power has yet crushed its own proletariat so to be free to embark on broader adventures in the colonial and semi-colonial world. Ultimately, the path to war will be defined by the class struggle within the imperialist powers and in the oppressed peoples.
With these focal points of war and counterrevolution, the US imperialism is preparing for larger offensives. They seek to shift to their favor the balance of power they lost in the global market.
This is the moment when the warships begin to speak. The imperialist powers are aligning and realigning themselves. Enormous battles lie ahead, and also new wars and catastrophes if the masses do not prevent them… But the masses have not surrendered. It is their leaderships that have knelt before imperialism and its states.
The forces of the working class in the metropolises remain intact.
In USA, a massive struggle is unfolding as millions take to the streets against Trump. This is putting his overthrow on the agenda. A General Strike has already been announced for May 1st.
The Wall Street Democratic Party pirates, who initiated the genocide in Gaza, are trying to present themselves as the "alternative to defeat Trump"... in almost three years' time, in the next election. In other words, they are the ones propping him up when the masses can no longer tolerate him.
The European working class, with its vanguard, the workers of Italy, Greece, the thousands upon thousands mobilizing in England, all in support of the Palestinian and Middle Eastern masses, is far from having said its last word.
But imperialism increasingly needs bayonets to fight for spheres of influence. Cracks are opening in the imperialist domination of the planet. Let us not forget that wars are the midwives of revolutions.
The Strait of Hormuz is a crossroads, where all the contradictions of world politics and economics converge, but the future of the events of the international class struggle is defined in Jerusalem, by crushing "Greater Israel" and setting Gaza on its feet once again, in the streets of the US by overthrowing Trump, and with European workers once again surrounding their Palestinian brothers by going on the International General Strike.
We still have time.
In the face of a “ceasefire”, No secret negotiation!
The people and workers of Iran are the ones providing the dead. Let no one negotiate on their behalf! They are the ones who must decide on any negotiations and the fate of their nation.
In Venezuela we already saw how the national bourgeoisies negotiate and how until yesterday the Iranian bourgeoisie was negotiating with USA, while they left Gaza isolated, crushed and thus besieged.
The tasks in Iran are concrete:
Legality for all trade unions and mass struggle organizations in Iran!
Freedom for political prisoners! Soldiers' and workers' committees! Widespread arming of the people!
We must fight and crush the fascist forces of the State of Israel in Jerusalem, just as we fight the ICE Gestapo in Minnesota and Los Angeles!
The battle is won in Jerusalem and on Wall Street! We must behead the USA hydra that is massacring today, which has two heads (one in Tel Aviv and the other in Washington), in order to save humanity from barbarism!
We must defeat the war machine of the European imperialist powers!
From Italy and Greece, we must immediately call for and establish a committee of the world's trade unions and workers' organizations for the International General Strike to break the siege of Gaza and collect food, supplies, and funds to reach the Palestinian resistance.
The flotilla, which is a propaganda stunt, everyone is aware that it won't even get within hundreds or maybe thousands of kilometers from Gaza.
This is no longer about symbolic gestures. Gaza cannot fall. Lebanon cannot fall. In the West Bank, Palestinian unions have repeatedly called on the world's workers to fight against Zionism, despite and in opposition to the Palestinian bourgeoisie of the PLO.
The Syrian masses are rising up to fight in Jerusalem. In southern Lebanon, the Palestinian masses have taken up arms again, despite their bourgeois leaders hiding the arms from them.
The resistance can be reached. The path has been paved by the heroic masses of Palestine and the Middle East.
Workers' organizations, sending delegations overland to Lebanon, coordinating with the struggle of Syrian workers, and entering with Palestinian unions from the West Bank, can bring funds and supplies to fight alongside the resistance, just as they did in the Spanish Civil War in the 1930s.
Now is the time…
Zionism and the US imperialism are coming for "Greater Israel."
We revolutionaries are fighting for an Intifada throughout the Middle East, for the expropriation without compensation of the imperialist oil companies, and for the defeat of imperialism and the establishment of the United Socialist States of the Maghreb and Middle East, the only way to guarantee a free Palestine from the River to the Sea upon the destruction of the State of Israel.
