i.e., the councils of workers and armed rank-and-file soldiers!
The working class, through the general strike and street battles, drawing in the entire oppressed masses, including students, working women, and poor peasants, has risen up against the regime that has unleashed a brutal attack of inflation and a high cost of living that makes life unbearable. Hunger and unemployment are no longer tolerable, and Iranian workers know that to conquer bread, they must overthrow the murderous theocracy and disarm its genocidal forces. The clerics live like kings, and the people like beggars!
That is why the masses are already clashing with the murderous repressive forces of the Basij, the police, and the Counter-Revolutionary Guard. They are burning police stations and government buildings, raising barricades, and attacking Guard centers where officers are. They are shouting, “Death to the dictator!”
Those leading such a fight are the heart of the working class, the oil workers who have been on strike and fighting in the streets and who, together with young people, are beginning to organize to defend themselves against repression.
The Ayatollahs are once again massacring the insurgent masses with lead bullets, deepening the repression that has already claimed the lives of hundreds upon hundreds of workers and young people. Thousands have already been arrested, and Khamenei has declared that they will execute all the protesters, just as he has done with 2,200 workers' and people's fighters in 2025 alone. Freedom now for all political prisoners in Iran!
We must conquer widespread armament to rebuild the shora (councils of workers, poor peasants and ordinary soldiers) as in the revolution of 1979! Let us march to the barracks now to find the sons of the workers under arms, so they may set up their committees, disobey their officers, and cross over to the side of the insurgent masses.
In every city and region of Iran, people are taking to the streets to confront this murderous theocratic regime and its Praetorian Guard, one of the key counter-revolutionary forces that, on behalf of imperialism, massacred the Syrian revolution, suppressed the uprising of the Lebanese masses, encircled and isolated Gaza, and covered, with blood and fire, the back of the US withdrawal from Iraq since 2008 so that imperialist oil companies could continue plundering all the black gold of the region.
The ayatollahs say they are “crushing a US-backed uprising.” It's a lie! Killing the working class, who have risen up because they have had more than 40% of their wages stolen, and imprisoning those who strike or form unions, is not confronting imperialism. The clerics are merely doing the “dirty work” so that, later, with the masses crushed, the USA can take everything. The Iranian theocracy is “brave” when it comes to massacring the masses, but a bunch of cowards when it comes to confronting imperialism and Zionism, to whom they have surrendered. If the Iranian working class is defeated, what will come is US imperialism with its Zionist gendarme to oust the Ayatollahs and put in their place a more direct agent who will guarantee the US control of the world's second largest gas reserves and third largest oil reserves.
Only the working class can stop the oil wars waged by Trump, Zionism, and all US imperialists’ agents. A decisive battle is being fought in Iran today. If the Ayatollahs crush the revolution, Trump and Zionism will win. Gaza will be completely crushed, along with the Palestinian masses and the entire region.
If the masses triumph, Iran's counter-revolutionary control over southern Lebanon and Iraq would weaken, and the siege of Palestine would be broken… Opening the fronts to defeat Zionism is the order of the day! For the destruction of the Zionist State! To achieve this, we must confront the governments and regimes that serve imperialism. May the 2011 uprisings return, this time triumphant throughout the Middle East! One single Intifada throughout the entire region!
Throughout the Middle East, imperialism must be confronted with working-class methods: expropriating its oil companies and banks without compensation and under workers' control, and recovering the wealth so that the workers and the people can eat, recover their homes, and conquer all their demands!
In the US, hundreds of thousands of workers, young people, and the exploited are already taking to the streets across the country against the repression of Trump and his "Gestapo," the murderous ICE, the expulsion of immigrants, and the US aggression against Venezuela, just as yesterday they marched to stop the genocide in Palestine and against the war. The allies of the Iranian, Palestinian, and all Middle Eastern masses are standing up in struggle within the imperialist beast, confronting fascist Trump!
