The Italian proletariat is standing alongside Palestine

On Saturday, February 24, in Milan, for the twenty-first consecutive time, a demonstration took place against the genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza perpetrated by the Zionist colonial occupation entity in Palestine, on behalf of U.S. imperialism and its associates,

The national demonstration followed the general strike for Palestine, called for Friday, February 23 by the rank and file trade unions, in response to an appeal by the Palestinian associations in Italy.

Not only Milan has taken to the streets for Palestine and against the genocide of the Palestinian people perpetrated by Zionism in Gaza along these five months, as there have been also dozens of demonstrations in Genoa, Rome, Florence, Naples and Turin, as well as in Puglia, Sicily, Sardinia, etc.

What makes the difference, negatively, is not the will of the masses to mobilize but the inaction of the leadership and in particular of the leaders of the majority unions Cgil-Cisl-Uil.

They have joined the Confederation of European Trade Unions and the International Trade Union Confederation, but are turning a deaf ear to the call launched, five months ago, by the Palestinian trade unions, also members of the ITUC, to prevent the supply of arms to the Zionist occupier and to expel Histadrut, the Zionist employers' center union.

The unions of the International Trade Union Network of Solidarity and Struggles of the French Solidaires and the Brazilian CSP-Conlutas, which have neither responded to the call of the Palestinian unions to block the military supply to the Zionist entity, nor to the call of S.I. Cobas, also a member of that Network, to the general strike for Palestine on February 23, are also turning a deaf ear.

Let us build the European general strike to stop the genocide of the Palestinian people perpetrated by Zionism, under the command of US imperialism!
Let us break the siege of Gaza by Al Sisi, the Jordanian king, the PLO, the Iranian theocracy, al-Assad, Putin, Hezbollah and the whole Arab bourgeoisie, all accomplices of the genocide!
Let the borders and all fronts be opened to fight Zionism!
