Homage of Jorge Terracota, a columnist for "The International Workers Organizer"
on the passing away of David Soria

STAND UP!
LET'S STAND UP AND RAISE OUR FISTS!
DAVID SORIA HAS PASSED AWAY
A PROLETARIAN
A WORKING CLASS CHAMPION.
AN INDOMITABLE INTERNATIONALIST.

REST, BROTHER

I met David 35 years ago in the old MAS, our paths came together and separated many times, our respect and mutual affection survived all crises.
David had no comparison with any other cadre of the labor movement, a classist and an impeccable internationalist, you have to go back far to find fighters of David's integrity; I remember some like Pedro Apaza, of course, whose trajectory was cut by the assassins of the military dictatorship.
David deserved to live longer, but he died as one more oppressed, victim of the precariousness of medicine for the poor, which are the municipal hospitals without the minimum resources, surrounded by private neighborhoods like Nordelta in the municipality of Tigre, justifying capitalist inequality where millionaire waste and miserable poverty coexist side by side.

David, we will see each other in the smoke of the barricades, like ghosts in the early morning haze in the working class neighborhoods, neither dead nor vanquished.
Rest brother.
