At dawn on 24-25 August, the refugees solidarity squatNotara, which distributes food and basic stuff and shelter some refugee families was murderously attacked in downtown Athens in the Exarcheia neighborhood.
Two Fascist on a motorcycle attacked the building, setting on fire the basement of the building where stuff and some mattresses, blankets, toys, and also food and medicine were kept. Thus, the fire quickly spread throughout the place.
Luckily, there were some comrades on guard and the refugees living there were able to leave the building and stopped the fire quickly. But the material loss was huge, and this criminal attack shows that while the repressive jailer anti-worker government of Syrizaputs into concentration camps most of the refugees, while puts into jail the militant anarchist youth for fighting for a decent life and for defendingthe refugees, it sets free the fascist of Golden Dawn, and when all that happens, the fascist gangs head up again.
But the response was quick, and on August 29 the Greeks exploited, with the rebellious youth leading, along with hundreds of refugees took the streets and avenues of Athens in a huge demonstration of class solidarity against the fascists, to open the borders and for decent life.
More than 2,000 Greeks exploited, refugees, from the solidarity movement of various countries marched together!We are the same class on both sides of the Mediterranean and around the world! We have the same enemies, the capitalist, imperialist regimes and governments that exploit and oppress the workers.
During the demonstration, it was seen more than 200 Syrian refugees singing the same songs than the Syrian resistance: Down with the criminal Bashar! Open the borders! The fascists are the terrorists!
This is a struggle of the world working class, against the imperialism offensive that wants us to kneel us down, tearing all our conquests, repressing us, putting us in jail, killin g us to continue doing business and getting more and more profits at the expense of our blood.
ENOUGH!
It is time that the exploited stand up as a single fist against the oppressors!
In order to defend ourselves from the fascist, the police and the state repressive forces: it is necessary to set up immediately self-defense bodies of the Greek exploited ones and the refugees!
It is necessary to multiply by thousands these actions and take the streets of all the main cities in the imperialist powers, and around the world against the attacks of the capitalists, their "austerity measures" as the ones from the government of Tsipras and imperialist Maastricht, against their concentration camps, to open the borders and decent work and life for ALL!
It is necessary to set up refugee assemblies as Idomeni did in the main squares of Athens and the entire Europe to coordinate the fight of the refugees with the one of the European working class!
We are the same class, we have the same enemies, and the fight is one against the same oppressors!
We are going to look for the fascists on both side of the Mediterranean!
Down with the fascist Assad, the gunman Putin, under the command of the butcher Obama and imperialist gangs that do business with the blood of millions of exploited!
Freedom for all political prisoners, the militant youth and workers chased and prosecuted for fighting!
Long live the struggle of the exploited Greeks and their class brother, the refugees! Open the road to the internationalist unity and the solidarity between the working class in the world against the capitalist, the imperialist Europe of Maastricht and their slave plans!
