Venezuela - August 2017
The Bolivarian revolution, a scam against the workers and the oppressed peoples of Latin America and the world:
- Yesterday they made accords with Obama to surrender Cuba to imperialism and put the US workers at the feet of their executioner
- They surrendered and disarmed the Colombian resistance; they agreed with Fascist Media Luna in Bolivia; in Argentina and Brazil, they were servants of imperialism and launched repression and starvation on the working class
- They announced that socialism was no longer possible even in Cuba, and with capitalism they attacked all the achievements of workers in Venezuela and throughout Latin America.
- In the Middle East they supported mass murderer regimes like al-Assad’s, Al Sisi's dictatorship, Khadafy’s, the Iranian ayatollahs’, Putin’s andthe genocidal Zionist occupying the Palestinian nation.
The Bolivarian bourgeoisie give the oil to the Yankees and repays billions of dollars of the external debt to the IMF, while theyhave enriched themselves and kill thepeople of hunger and misery.

After using Chavezism as a squeezed lemon to attack the workers
NOW TRUMP AND US IMPERIALISM
COME TO TAKE EVERYTHING
Both through Maduro attacking the people or Capriles,
they want to make a colony from Venezuela
With coup attempts and the current accounts embargo of the millionaire generals in Miami,
The bourgeois gangs and imperialism are disputing for the command of the caste of officers of the Bolivarian armed forces
Those at the top know that the imperialist looting of Venezuela, the robbery of the workers' conquests, will be imposed to the shots as in the Caracazo
Neither Maduro nor MUD!
Neither their parliaments and puppet justices, nor their repressive forces
and murderous officers’ caste that kill the people!
Stop it! It is time for the Bolivarian bourgeoisie, the oligarchy and US imperialism to pay for the ruin of Venezuela! They have created this ruin!
Weapons for the hungry people!
Committees of rank-and-file soldiers! Worker and popular militia!
Dissolution of the Bolivarian National Guard!
For the rupture of the UNT, all workers' organizations, trade unions, trade unions and factory committees with the bourgeois gangs that have millions of dollars in Miami while the people are obliged to eat from the garbage dumps!
We must setup the power of the exploited
National workers' congress of the trade unions, poor peasants and committees of rank-and-file soldiers!
Open the way to the Venezuela of those below!
Not a dollar more to the bankers! Out with the IMF!
Not one hectare of land or a supermarket gondola more in the hands of the oligarchy! Let the people eat first!
For a working-class and socialist Venezuela without generals, billionaire Bolivarian bourgeoisie, oligarchs, or imperialist bankers!
"AMERICA FOR THE AMERICANS":
THE US IMPERIALISTS' COUNTER-OFFENSIVE OF COLONIALIZATION
The Venezuelan working class and exploited masses suffer the consequences of the farce of the Bolivarian Revolution: Generalized famine, lack of supply, deaths from starvation, malaria, and all this imposed with the rifles and tanks of Maduro and the generals of the millionaire Bolivarian bourgeoisie. It is the brutal bankruptcy of capitalist Venezuela under imperialism that the Castro and the World Social Forum showed as "socialism" to the workers of the world.
Over this sea of the hungry, a huge political crisis has opened up among those above. The showdownbetween Maduro and the MUD for the control of the state and the administration of the business of imperialism in Venezuela, not only has led to the fracture of the regime, but it has turned into an open dispute for winning over the generals.
US imperialism is advancing over Latin America. Obama's "good neighbor" policy has now come to an end. After imposing the counterrevolution in the Middle East with genocide in Syria, Trump went out to the world with the language of the gunboats. He'sgreedy. US imperialism tries to impose its dominion in the world with the gunboats that already point to North Korea, with the threat of a new massacre, and putting fascism to rally inside the United States (see article).
In the midst of a new round of the global economic crisis and the commercial war with European powers, mainly with Germany, US imperialism needs to impose absolute discipline in Latin America and marksits territory to stop German imperialism.
The real aim of US imperialism is to subject Latin America to colonialism. It dictates labor flexibilization in Brazil, Peru and Argentina. It is keeping Mexican oil for itself. It wants PDVSA and Venezuela's oil, where the world's largest reserves are.
This offensive involves getting rid of his old agents of the crawling Bolivarian bourgeoisie. This has already guaranteed the strangulation of the workers 'and peasants' revolution throughout the continent. They restored capitalism in Cuba. They handed over Colombian resistance to the regime of the 7US imperialist military bases, leaving millions of peasants at the mercy of the paramilitaries. In Venezuela they handed out the nation to imperialism, repaying the debt to the IMF on the famine of the people and imposing a brutal Bonapartism against the masses. And fundamentally, they put the American working class on their knees before the Democratic Party by presenting Obama as the "democratic imperialist."
Thanks to the Bolivarians, imperialism now comes to subdue Latin America with triple chains and goesfor Venezuela. The Bolivarian Revolution was only a detour to falling under Wall Street.
Obama traced imperialism the path to secure its backyard with a counterrevolutionary pact with the Castro brothers and the Bolivarian bourgeoisie, through which they submitted to it and became its agents. Now Maduro has done the dirty work, he has no more juice. Trump wants total surrender and therefore shows the club threatening with a "military solution". The cowardly Bolivarian bourgeoisie is totally incapable of confronting US imperialism, with which it is bound by thousands of ties and businesses.
Venezuela is facing an iron alternative: if the working class fails to break through to the socialist revolution, it will end up as a US colony, either with the MUD or the Bolivarians, and the generals.
The tragedy is that the working class, the only class that can defeat imperialism, has been driven to impotence and demoralization. The capitalist restoration in Cuba has been a brutal blow to the anti-imperialist struggle of the masses of Latin America. The new riches of Havana, partners of Cargill and Coca-Cola, say "socialism is not anymore possible." Maduro makes his people eat garbage in the name of "anti-imperialism". The renegades of Trotskyism, who in all these years concealed the Bolivarian swindle, even handing over the Transitional Program to Chavez, straightforwardly pose the peaceful "democratization" of a murderous regime.
When imperialism comes to recolonize Latin America, they all tell the working class that the socialist revolution cannot be done like in Cuba in 1959, that the most that can be aspired to is a "good capitalism." There they have their "good capitalism"! Bolivarian Venezuela of famine, death and misery!
A huge political crisis among those from above:
MADURO AND MUD DISPUTE FOR THE POST OF WALL STREET’S VICERROY.
ONLY THE SOCIALIST REVOLUTION CAN AVOID THE COLONIZATION OF VENEZUELA
In the heat of the imperialist offensive, the political crisis in Venezuela has performed a new leap in recent weeks, marked by the assumption of the National Constituent Assembly of the government, which was not recognized by any imperialist power, and by the attempt by opposition forces to take Fort Paramacay. As we said on July 26 (see statement), disputes between the gangs of the Bolivarian bourgeoisie and MUD led to an open rupture of the regime of the Bolivarian Constitution. Venezuela is split. In the same country, two rivaling sets of parliaments, Supreme Courts of Justice, and General Prosecutors coexist, each of them claiming cynically to have the legitimate representation of the Venezuelan people.
It is a formidable political crisis in the heights that convulses the whole nation, a confrontation between two sides to decide who will be the one that dismantles and privatizes PDVSA, the great booty of the nation, to the service of Goldman Sachs, Chevron and the great international creditors. That is the essence of their dispute.
Faced with this situation, Pence - Trump's deputy - has already said that Venezuela is a "failed state". In other words, he said that broken, sunken Venezuela, with its dominating institutions broken in the heat of disputes between the government and the MUD, can only survive under the tutelage of US financial capital. The deep meaning of Trump's military threat to Venezuela is that if neither the Bolivarians nor the MUD can guarantee to surrender it as a colony to US imperialism, the latter arrogates the right to submit it to its troops.
Trump shows the club to the nation and to all the America’s exploited, demands the surrender of Maduro and the generals, and advances in conquering a relation of forces for future military interventions in Latin America. It is an imperialist squeeze of its slaves in its backyard, to tell the Latin American working class that in Venezuela there is no place even for cardboard anti-imperialists like the Bolivarians.
In the background is the imperialist offensive to win the generals and the Armed Forces, the backbone of the Bolivarian bourgeoisie and the last support of Maduro. The assault on Fort Paramacay on August 6 sought to impact the officers, show boldness and determination to try to win undecided officers, dissatisfied with the government. Trump's military sanctions and threats also seek to open gaps between the officers. Whoever has the majority of the generals stays with the state, that is, with PDVSA and the administration of the oil revenue.
But Maduro and the generals refuse to leave the power to the MUD and they want to demonstrate to imperialism that they are more useful to him. Maduro says, "We are good boys," which means, "We have defended power and property during the difficult times of the Latin American revolution, supported the restoration of capitalism in Cuba, are repaying dollar on dollar of foreign debt; with the weapons in hand we have guaranteed that there is no Caracazo. We tried ourselves as good agents. Let us continue and we will show you that we can be even better servants.'
While Maduro and PadrinoLopezboast of their power in response to Trump's threats, the Bolivarian Constituent Assembly votes on laws that penalize 25 years participating of street protests, while the generals announce the militarization of the country. The Bolivarian bourgeoisie has given a brutal Bonapartist coup against the masses. Thus, the government hated by the people tells imperialism, 'we are still the ones who control the masses'.
Though, Trump is not moved. 'Give up and give me everything,' he says. Thus imperialism negotiates with its servants of the native bourgeoisie. Gunboats, and fascist gangs on the USA streets, are the threat of the club to make them kneel, as it is doing with North Korea or Iran.
The MUD says that the time has come for the Bolivarian Revolution; that Maduro is hated by the masses, and that is why it is postulated to be whichheads the absolute surrender of Venezuela to Wall Street.
But the upper classes know that the working class has not been defeated. That is why the MUD appeals to the middle classes and uses the barricades not only as a bargaining tool in extremis with the Bolivarian bourgeoisie, but also as a preventive measure against the independent irruption of the hungry amid the disputes between the above.
The oligarchy and the Bolivarian bourgeoisie are very careful not to touch each other's property. Beside the savagery they show against the dispossessed, theirs is a gentlemen's fight.
Whether Bolivarian or MUD, the Venezuelan bourgeoisie as a whole is with imperialism. It just wants to be a Wall Street colony viceroy. Therefore, any exit at the hands of the MUD or the Bolivarians will involve the submission of Venezuela to colonialism.
And this can only be guaranteed with a ferocious Bonapartism against the people, based on an officers caste supervised directly by the Pentagon. The plans of the bourgeois gangs are just different ways of controlling and repressing the masses. There is no other way for imposing the US imperialist plan.
The working class is not in the "guarimbas”(protests with barricades, NT)
of the MUD, nor supporting the government of Maduro ...
THE WORKING CLASS MUST RISE UP AGAINST IMPERIALISM AND ITS NATIVE PARTNERS, AND LEAD THE EXPLOITED CLASSES OF THE NATION!
For the working class, the deepening of the crisis among those from above is, without doubt, the moment to intervene. An independent action of the masses would raise the horizontal rupture of the army (i.e., between the officers and the rank-and-file soldiers, NT) and the emergence of the armed dual power of the workers and the poor against the set of bourgeois gangs and their assassin generals.
The working class is not with any of the gangs of the bourgeoisie. As much as the PSL (UIT) and the LIT shout, the hungry are not on the barricades of the MUD. If so, they would have attacked private property, supermarkets, etc. for some time, in order to eat.
Neither are they defending the hated government from the offensive of Trump and the oligarchy. Not a single one has mobilized in defense of Maduro in front of the attempt of the taking of Fort Paramacay.
The working class is scavenging trash bags in the streets in order to eat. Although the union bureaucracy has subjected it and pushed it to the last line of resistance, the crisis in the ranks of the bourgeoisie and the objective conditions of economic crack and starvation make red-hot the possibility of an upsurge of the hungry.
The fight against Trump's onslaught and the struggle for bread is the same. Bread can only be obtained by expropriating the banks, factories and lands of imperialism and oligarchy. The triumph of the workers' and popular revolution is the only possibility of defeating imperialism and conquering bread for the hungry people.
However the working class cannot take advantage of the crisis of the above to break in. They weigh on their backs not only the betrayal of their own trade union bureaucracy but also the enormous defeats of the Central American and Caribbean proletariat at the hands of Castroism and the Cuban CP, such as capitalist restoration in Cuba and the massacre of Colombian peasant resistance . The return of US imperialism to Cuba, thanks to the Obama-Castro pact, is a stab in the back of the anti-imperialist struggle on the continent, which greatly weakens the Latin American proletariat. Undoubtedly, the most reactionary of the Venezuelan situation is the leadership of the working class, which has led to this situation.
The world left plays a criminal role. It lined up in fact behind one or another bourgeois side, hindering any prospect for the socialist revolution in Venezuela. Some, such as El TopoObrero, the CWI, the Argentine PTS, are with Maduro and the generals, claiming that we are facing a fascist offensive of imperialism and oligarchy, and that a front with Maduro must be agreed to crush fascism. Others, such as the PSL and the LIT are on a front with the MUD against the government, arguing that the barricades of the MUD are an expression of the struggle of the exploited against the regime.
All of them tell the workers that they must choose between the embers and the boiling oil of two gangs of slave owners totally under US imperialism. They all close the way for the soldier and to revolution. To tie the fate of the working class to one of the bourgeois sides in conflict, as the world left does, is to collaborate with the defeat of Venezuela against Wall Street. It is an infamous betrayal of the struggle against imperialism.
If the working class does not give a breakthrough to the nation with the socialist revolution, it will be buried under the rubble of the Bolivarian Revolution that is collapsing in History and prepares a destiny of colony for Venezuela. If US imperialism does tread Venezuela again, after so many anti-imperialist combats of the Venezuelan proletariatit will undoubtedly be a blow to Venezuelan workers and the entire continent. On the struggle of the Venezuelan working classit depends to a large extent the immediate future of Latin American workers.
It is necessary to transform the unease and hatred into revolutionary force to end with the farce of the Bolivarian Revolution,MUD oligarchy and imperialism. Only the working class can end with the imperialist plunder and chaos of the bourgeois gangs that are plunging Venezuela into barbarism.
The working class and the exploited must put up their own barricade
ENOUGH OF THE BOLIVARIAN REVOLUTION SCAM! OUT WITH MADURO AND THE MURDEROUS GENERALS!
ENOUGH OF MUD! ARMING THE PEOPLE TO CONQUER THE BREAD AND EXPEL THE IMF!
FOR A WORKER AND SOCIALIST VENEZUELA, WITHOUT GENERALS, BOSSES OR IMPERIALIST BANKERS!
The Venezuelan proletariat comes at this time in the worst conditions. Nobody has prepared it to take advantage of the crisis of the above. In all these years, its leaderships have told it that to make a Caracazo to Maduro would favor the right, while he applied more and more the plan of the MUD and imperialism. The Venezuelan proletariatwas toldthat there was no need to fight for power and for socialism to crush the bourgeoisie and its generals and all the institutions of the Bolivarian Constitution regime.
Today the workers' organizations are dissolved or submitted, which amounts to the same. While imperialism comes to colonize the nation and those of above are openly disputing for the officers of the Armed Forces tocrush the proletariat, the different tendencies of the labor movement refuse to raise the struggle for the army rank and file to crush the murderous officers and defeat the government and the MUD. The Venezuelan left is full of charlatans who speak of a peaceful, without revolution, "independent way out", as if imperialism and the Venezuelan bourgeoisie had not armored themselves to impose the nation's colonialism to the shots. They refuse to tell the proletariat that the only way to defeat US imperialist plan and the Bonapartist plans of the Bolivarians and the MUD is with arms in hand.
It is necessary not to recognize any more the leadership of Wills Rangel, Barrios, Maspero and all the collaborationist trade union bureaucracy. It is necessary to impose the rupture of the UNT and of all the workers' organizations with the gangs of the bourgeoisie. Let the exploited’s power stand! We must summon immediately a National Worker’s Congress, calling on the soldiers and the masses of the shantytowns, to raise the barricades of the hungry with an anti-imperialist and revolutionary program, and to make the working class become a leader of the exploited masses of the nation!
NEITHER MADURO NOR MUD! NEITHER THEIR PARLIAMENTS AND PUPPET COURTS NOR BOTH THEIR REPRESSIVE FORCES AND MURDEROUS OFFICERS!
THAT THOSE AT THE TOP PAY FOR THE CRISIS! Not a dollar more to the bankers and the IMF! Neither the land nor the supermarket shelves must be in the hands of the oligarchy!
We must break all the agreements that subject Venezuela to imperialism, all the agreements with the imperialist oil
Expropriation without compensation and under workers' control, of the banks, the oil companies, the transnationals and the lands of the oligarchy! Confiscation of wholesale shops and warehouses! Seizure of all the accounts of those above, both the Bolivarians and the oligarchs! Nationalization of the foreign trade!
THE BOURGOIS GANGS MUST BE DISARMED! The hunger of the people has not only been imposedthrough deceit and betrayal, but also with a brutal repression by the generals. Now imperialism and both bourgeois gangs compete for winning over the army officers. The workers must go to the barracks to win over the rank-and-file soldiers! Committees of rank-and-file soldiers! Weapons for the hungry people! Worker and popular militias!
If imperialism is not defeated with the socialist revolution, the Venezuelan exploited will suffer more hunger, misery and repression than ever. Only an interim revolutionary government of workers and poor peasants, based on the self-organizing organizations of the armed masses, will be able to prevent the fate of the colony that the Venezuelan bourgeoisie and imperialism provide, and transform Venezuela into a bastion of struggle for the workers' and socialist revolution throughout the Americas.
FOR THE VENEZUELAN WORKERS’ UNITY WITH THE LATIN AMERICAN AND AMERICAN PROLETARIAT! The real allies of the Venezuelan working class are the Brazilian workers who are fighting to take away Temer; the Peruvian teachers that are on the warpath against flexibilization. And above all, it is the American working class, which ties Trump's hands and does not let him carry out wars of aggression against the oppressed peoples of the world.
The native bourgeoisies have demonstrated once again their treasonous and pro-imperialist character. Only the working class can liberate our continent from the oppression and looting of Wall Street -as it did in Cuba in 1959- , even defeating Castro and the Cuban Communist Party to recover Cuba for the socialist revolution. It is necessary to weld the international unity of the working class of the continent, from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego. The miners of Antioquia in Colombia have launched a formidable appeal to the American working class to unite and confront imperialism. That's the way! All the workers' organizations of the continent must rally to the internationalist appeal of the Colombian miners!
