From Las Heras, Argentina - September 1, 2024
Message from the Commission of Convicted Workers, Family and Friends of Las Heras on the passing away of Alejandro Villarruel
We have lost a dear comrade
Ale, you will always live in our hearts
and in each of the workers' struggles!
Yesterday morning we received the painful news of the passing away of Alejandro Villarruel, a valuable and beloved comrade of ours. Some of us had the pleasure of knowing him personally, and he opened the doors of his home and his family to us, which today and always has been ours.
He too was persecuted by this justice of the powerful. What was his crime? Fighting for the rights of workers, marking at every step allies and enemies of our class, telling workers that it was always worth trying again.
His legacy has not died, it is and will be present in the hands of each one of us and will be carried forward tirelessly until we achieve everything that is ours.
We say goodbye to Ale and we want his family to know that here, in Las Heras, they also have their own people, they also have a home and a place to fight.
We will remain standing, we will never kneel down, always alongside the workers of the world against the exploiters and their servants.
Comrade Ale, YOU WILL BE PRESENT FOREVER!
Commission of Convicted Workers, Family Members and Friends of Las Heras
