The “III International León Trotsky Event” of former Trotskyists, pseudo socialists and Stalinists was held in Buenos Aires:
A reformist alchemy that seeks to liquidate the continuity of the Fourth International and the fight for the socialist revolution
Again in the 21st century:
Reform versus Revolution
Between October 23 and 26, the self-proclaimed “III León Trotsky International Event” met in Buenos Aires. The currents that make up the FIT-U of Argentina (PTS, PO, MST and Izquierda Socialista / UIT-CI), Política Obrera (the Altamira PO Tendency) and the NMAS participated in it.
Callinicos, leader of the English SWP and its international current ISO, arrived from London. Savvas Matsas, leader of the EEK from Greece, was also attending.
In addition to different academic pseudo-intellectuals and openly pro-Stalinist Spartacist sectors, the meeting also included Osvaldo Coggiola, a former PO militant, and even an openly pro-Zionist Stalinist like Daniel Lazare, who broke with the Communist Party of Great Britain because this party vindicated the self-defense action of the Palestinian resistance on October 7.
From Kenya, Ezra Otieno was connected; a former member of the CP, he is today a member of Bodart's LIS, and raises the flags of “Pan-Africanism” at the feet of the black bourgeoisies of Africa, agents of imperialism.
Mandelites could not be missing from this meeting either, through Eric Toussaint of the “Unified Secretariat”. Last but not least, the LIT-CI participated with a militant from Chile.
This event in Buenos Aires was a continuation of the different “meetings about Trotsky” that have been held every year since 2019. On that occasion, all the currents of the renegades of Trotskyism met in Havana with sectors of Cuban Stalinism to cover them as “Trotskyists”.
The meeting in Cuba was organized by Frank García Hernández, who claimed to be a “proud militant of the Communist Party.” On his social networks he proudly showed the Communist Youth card with his latest membership fees paid to it. García Hernández, who is now “critical” of the Díaz Canel government on the island, was also the great coordinator of the event that has just ended in Argentina.
This Cuban Stalinist has been usurping the revolutionary figure of Trotsky, while furiously vindicating Fidel Castro and his party, today led by Díaz Canel. A Stalinist party that is a “vanguard” of the surrender of the most important revolutionary processes in Latin America in recent decades. A party that received Mercader, the murderer of Comrade Trotsky, with honors!
Thus, under the direction of Castroite García Hernández, the leaders of the renegade groups of Trotskyism met in what was a true International Congress of that single party of liquidators of the Fourth International and Stalinism that, as we will demonstrate, seek to ensure that not even the slightest vestiges of the Fourth International and its program remain and use Trotsky’s name to pass off the politics of Stalinism as “Trotskyist”.
The imposture of castrist García Hernández who usurps the flags of “Trotskyism” to cover up the new bourgeoisie of the Cuban CP and the regime of the millionaire generals on the island
In 2019, Frank García Hernández called to “rehabilitate Trotsky” in Cuba in order to use the legacy of Trotskyism to cover up the capitalist restoration imposed by the new rich of the CP while becoming a new bourgeoisie and enriching themselves as junior partners of the imperialist transnationals.
Let us imagine for a moment what would have happened if an international plenary session of Trotskyist leaders of the Soviet section of the Fourth International had been held in Moscow together with leading members of the International Secretariat headed by Leon Trotsky in the year 1936 or 1938. There is no doubt that they would have ended all murdered by Stalin's clique and his KGB. If not, they would have surrendered to Stalin's CPSU, the party that liquidated the Third International and the October Revolution.
Of course, all the leaders who went to the Havana meeting in 2019 left in excellent health and with great joy. They could tell the base of their currents that “they already had a section in Cuba”… A farce of Cuban Stalinism and the renegades of Trotskyism… A couple formed on the basis of convenience.
Today, when it can no longer be hidden how the CP regime has been starving the Cuban masses and violently repressing them when they revolt, as happened on June 11, 2021, García Hernández with his group “Communists Cuba” has positioned itself as the“ opposition to his majesty”, the new rich Cubans and the counterrevolutionary government of Díaz Canel. Before, as we said, he was a proud member of Fidel Castro's party, when the latter proclaimed from the rooftops in the face of all the revolutionary processes in Latin America that “socialism does not work anymore, not even in Cuba.” Castro said this when he strangled all those revolutionary combats alongside the Chávez, Morales, Kirchner, Correa, etc.
García Hernández's case is a farce: he vindicates isolated revolutionary personalities outside the organizations for which and within which they fought and died. In the case of Trotsky, of the Third and Fourth Internationals, which irreducibly fought Stalinism, calling for its overthrow with political revolutions to expel it from the soviets and place the workers' states as bastions of the international socialist revolution.
Hiding the businesses of the new bourgeoisie of the CP, which has restored the right of inheritance and private property in Cuba (Milei applauds and almost goes to meet him), García Hernández now affirms that the process of capitalist restoration in Cuba has just begun and fills his mouth talking about having a “political revolution” as Trotsky proposed against the Stalinist bureaucracy in the USSR in the '30s.
This is a fallacy. The thing is that Hernández does not call to defeat, with the method of civil war that is, setting up workers' councils and armed common soldiers, and with the method of revolution, the regime of the millionaire bureaucrats of the CP, the new bourgeoisie and its generals, guarantors of the new private property and repressors of the people. All of them are the “new gusanos” associated with imperialism in the key businesses of the island such as tourism, nickel, etc., with which enormous amounts of foreign currency flee the island and are placed by them in the Cayman Islands. They live like kings in their private neighborhoods with their yachts moored in the ports of Baradero.
García Hernández does not propose that councils of workers and soldiersmust be established, not even independent unions, much less a revolutionary party. He does not call for defeating the officer caste or setting up a powerful workers' militia. That is to say, he does not call for soviets to recover the conquests of the Cuban revolution, surrendered by his party, Castro-Stalinism... He does not even call for creating a “new Sierra Maestra”, nor to once again expropriate the Hilton and the land that most of the leaders of that den of bandits that is the Cuban Communist Party have stolen.
So, what “political revolution” is García Hernández talking about then? For Trotskyists, political revolution means: “The question is how to get rid of the Soviet bureaucracy which oppresses and robs the workers and peasants, leads the conquests of October to ruin, and is the chief obstacle on the road to the international revolution. We have long ago come to the conclusion that this can be attained only by the violent overthrow of the bureaucracy, that is, by means of a new political revolution.” (Trotsky, “It Is Necessary to Drive the Bureaucracy and the New Aristocracy Out of the Soviets ”, 1938, our bolds).
The “violent overthrow” of the entire leadership of the murderers and repressors of the Cuban people is something that does not exist in Frank García Hernández's dictionary.
As far as we are concerned, we clarify that this political revolution in Cuba should also be social... since the land should be nationalized again, as it is being taken by the new agrarian bourgeoisie (all former officials of the CP) through cooperatives, financed by the Bank of Cuba, with credits for 20, 30 and 40 years. Hotel chains and nickel should also be nationalized without compensation, and workers' control of all branches of production of the economy should be imposed, starting with the Free Economic Zone that they established in Puerto Mariel, where they provide slave workers to transnational companies.
These are minimal and elementary measures to transform the island into a bastion of the socialist revolution on the American continent. It is the opposite of what Castroism did yesterday and today do the new magnates of Havana, for whom García Hernández is nothing more than a “transgressor” whom they use to wash their dirty clothes and their hands stained with betrayals and surrenders.
The blockade is suffered by the masses of the island and not by the new bourgeoisie that emerged from the Cuban CP
We repeat it once more: the new political and social revolution in Cuba would expropriate the yachts, luxury homes and all the assets of those who stole the people's funds, while the Cubans are dying of hunger.
The new rich of the CP do not suffer from the US blockade. We insist, they flee their money to the Bahamas, live in most exclusive gated communities like El Laguito and have luxurious yachts, like Fidel Castro's son in Baradero, while the workers suffer hunger and misery.
Moved by his experience in Argentina, García Hernández stated at the meeting in Buenos Aires (to escape any struggle for the “violent overthrow” of the bourgeois Stalinist regime), that on the island a “picketeer (unemployed associations) movement of unemployed workers in capitalist Cuba could be formed”. This man, instead of fighting to conquer factory committees, committees of the unemployed and committees of soldiers and establish a revolutionary leadership to prepare and make a new revolution, seeks to create an “unemployed movement.” It's clear why. He and his friends seek to become intermediaries between the repressive government of Díaz Canel and the hungry, rebellious people to give them some alms and control them... How miserable. This is the program of Grabois, the Peronist representative of the Church in the unemployed movement of Argentina.
A straitjacketed “picketeer movement” is the only thing that García Hernández says can be done in Cuba due to the repression that exists there. He has been stating that it is not possible to be a militant on the island because “today you stop in a factory to distribute a flyer (…) and you are going to be arrested by State security. (…) It is very difficult to build any communist opposition group in Cuba. (…) For distributing communist propaganda, opposition propaganda, they can give you four to six years in prison. "That's what reads in the Penal Code.” (Interview with NMAS, “Cuba, ayer y hoy”, May 26, 2024)
This is true nonsense and a full confession. He is dazzled by his friends from the FIT-U of Argentina and proposes, in fact, that revolutionary parties can only be formed under conditions of bourgeois legality. This is an infamy. The Trotskyists organized the Soviet section underground, under the boots of a Stalinist regime that persecuted them to the farthest reaches of the USSR and murdered them.
On behalf of them, of those who resisted Stalinism and fascism, of the Trotskyists who fought under terrible dictatorships for decades, we affirm that you, García Hernández, are a fake.
Stop claiming Trotsky as an ecumenical figure! Trotsky is one of the leaders of Russian Marxism, who together with Lenin, organized large-scale illegal work to fight tsarism and then Trotsky did the same against Stalinism.
We are facing an imposture and a falsification, before which all former Trotskyists kneel, since in this way, they also give themselves the prestige of being such by having their “Cuban section” in Havana. We regret to tell you that lies are short legged.
The Cuban masses take the streets clashing with the CP and have left thousands of prisoners in the dungeons of the regime, while García Hernández from Buenos Aires, far from the island, tells them that “nothing can be done”…except offer himself to Díaz Canel as an intermediary before the hungry in order to, with a couple of alms, better control them.
García Hernández is an impostor who can only speak of “Trotsky” thanks to the liquidators of the Fourth International who legitimize him. Hands off this Stalinist agent from Trotsky and his disciples!
The furthest FIT-U and the petty-bourgeois and legalistic left have gone to "confront" the infamous bourgeois Stalinist regime of Cuba, is at delivering a petition (a PTS trade-mark) to the Cuban Embassy in Argentina to ask for political prisoners to be released. Stop kidding! The prisoners are freed through street fighting and an international action campaign by all labor organizations in the world. Only in this way can the freedom be achieved of the Cuban workers and exploited people imprisoned for the hunger uprising of 11J, for confronting the regime of opprobrium and the capitalists and “new gusanos” of Díaz Canel!
The participants of the meeting: so different but so equal...
As we have seen, the currents that met in Buenos Aires are disciplined to the castrist García Hernández, erasing the river of blood that exists between Trotskyism and Stalinism.
This range of groups, which in some points have nuances between them, in others, have enormous differences to the point that they are located in opposite ways in the war trenches, as in Ukraine, where some are “fighting” for “NATO to lead Ukraine to victory” and others, so that Putin's tanks crush that oppressed nation. In Palestine, some are with Hamas and others giving “condolences” to Zionism for October 7. In Cuba, some claim that there has never been a worker state in the first place, others that there still is, and others that the capitalist restoration was already completed in the '90s.
These groups are shown as different, but in theoretical and programmatic essence, they are the same. First of all, they are united by a great agreement: they all think that the proletariat can improve its standard of living in the present rotting conditions of the capitalist system without the victory of a socialist revolution.
Some, like the PTS, go so far as to say that in recent decades there were neither revolutionary situations nor revolutions started, when in reality there were dozens and dozens of revolutionary processes that were betrayed a thousand times. They camouflage this, in a cynical way to confuse the workers, by stating that “there has been no successful revolution.” This is a true deception to justify the leaderships that betrayed these dozens and dozens of mass revolutions that shook the world in recent years. These revolutions were responded to with the cruelest counterrevolutions and betrayals. The entire text of this declaration would not be enough to talk about the heroism of the masses and name the revolutions they carried out, nor to denounce the baseness and submission to the exploiters of those who speak in the name of the working class.
Although they try to hide it by talking a thousand and one times about “capitalist crises and wars”, what they have hidden and are hiding under seven keys is the program for the victory of the revolution. What's more, for these PTS people, socialism is a question “for the future”…
Yesterday Castro, Chávez and other fakes of the "Bolivarian Revolution" spoke of "Socialism of the 21st century", an anti-Marxist scam against the masses, while they were handing Cuba over to imperialism and starving the working class.
Today, following in the footsteps of the World Social Forum and the “Bolivarians” who dressed in “red” to deceive the masses, the PTS declares that the fight is for a “communist future,” as a manifesto of its “intellectual” members proclaims… That is to say: communism for the Greek calends and let the dictatorship of capital continue today.
It is unbelievable... Marx wrote the Communist Manifesto in 1848 to fight for the dictatorship of the proletariat in the midst of the revolution that was taking place in France that year, and to prepare, although it was later diverted, the German revolution of 1851, shouting “long live the permanent revolution”… And this was done at a time when capitalism, as a system, had not yet exhausted all of its potential. The anti-Marxist pseudo-intellectuals of the PTS today have written a true “anti-Communist Manifesto”, proclaiming “communism for the future”…
This is a full confession. For the PTS, now is the time for parliamentarism and pressure struggles to see if the standard of living of the masses is improved. At meetings they gargle about “wars” and write books about Clausewitz (a 19th century Prussian general), etc., but they are always very careful to hide the fight for revolution under the rug … and the preparation of the insurrection, which is the maximum expression of the civil war.
On this point that socialism and communism are a “question for the future”, everyone agrees. On the premise that the crisis is in the masses and not in their leaderships that betray them, they also all agree. All these currents also agree that the “crisis of socialism” of '89 and today is the fault of the working class and not of the Stalinist scourge that handed over the workers' states. We are facing a true anti-Trotskyist regrouping.
The Buenos Aires Encounter, a meeting of reformist
and social-pacifist currents
These leaderships today pose as “war theorists,” while they silence nothing more and nothing less than the manual of civil war and insurrection. They hide this decisive question of Marxism and war under seven keys.
Of civil war, of aborted or spontaneous insurrections that are massacred... not even a word. Of the masses who resist in Palestine with the method of civil war, who have reached the limit of expropriating the hunger merchants of the Palestinian bourgeoisie (who are increasing food prices in the martyred Gaza), and are thus opening the path to victory… silence.
These people are in the time of “crises”, but not in the time of war, revolution and counter-revolution.
The manual they write is that of parliamentary intervention, voting laws together with the "progressive" bourgeoisie that, according to them, "favor the people", opening illusions in the institutions of the dictatorship of capital, parliamentarism and bosses' politicians.
The PTS and the entire FIT-U called to defeat the war plan of Milei and the transnationals in Argentina within the same Congress of the bosses' politicians who gave it the necessary votes to pass the worst attack against the working class in the last decades. These people can no longer come back from parliamentary cretinism. They cling to parliamentarism at a time when the cudgel of Bonapartism and fascism is looming. It is the "democratic left for peaceful times". That is which gathered together at the Buenos Aires Encounter.
Let us speak clearly... Some have even been asking themselves "how to build a revolutionary party in a reformist epoch". But when the crisis shakes them up and the bullets whiz by their heads, they immediately start talking about "economic crisis" and "war". Pure words and fireworks.
The world crisis that is shaking the capitalist system is either stopped now by the revolution, or the road to war, to new disputes over markets, will deepen.
This inter-imperialist war will begin the same way the second one ended. Let Mr. Altamira not get ahead of himself. The present genocides will be the prelude to new Hiroshima and Nagasaki, if the proletariat of the central countries does not succeed in stopping the imperialist beast. That is also what the limits of this epoch of crisis and wars are about, that is, revolution. Imperialism cannot go to new wars or higher conflagrations unless it defeats its own working class, or else co-opts it, as it did with the German social democracy in the World War I. Today the proletariat of the central countries is not defeated. And this gives the international working class time to replenish its forces and separate from its general staffs so many opportunists and careerists.
That is what the imperialist gangs in the different countries are discussing... They are even preparing Trump to first deceive, and then crush, the heart of the American proletariat, taking Biden's work all the way, in order to be able to go to higher counterrevolutionary adventures at the international level to defend the business of their empire in the whole world.
They are all so alike... They are all looking for the "progressive" bourgeois to support them as the "lesser evil."
In the footsteps of Stalinism and its policy of "popular fronts"
In this meeting where the struggle for revolution did not exist, of course the need to fight against the class collaboration fronts that imperialism and the bourgeoisie set up to divert the revolutionary processes, as we have seen in recent years in Latin America, USA, Europe, Middle East, etc., was not even mentioned. They devoted themselves to arguing against the "ultra-right" forces, silencing the fact that it is these fronts of class collaboration that lull and disorganize the masses to open the door to Bonapartism, counterrevolution and fascism.
The best example of what we are saying is what all the members of the meeting a decade ago called the “spring of the peoples” in the Maghreb and the Middle East. In that region, for the counterrevolutionary regimes to return, they first had to lull the masses to sleep by means of parliamentary traps like the fraudulent Constituent reform processes in Egypt and Tunisia, the class collaboration fronts in governments with the bourgeoisie and the CP as in Sudan, and the so-called "democratic" parties like the FSA in Syria that handed over the revolution from within to the fascist al-Assad. The groups that met in Buenos Aires, in Syria supported the PKK, Kurdish Stalinism, which established a real class collaboration front among the Kurdish bourgeoisie, al-Assad, Putin and the US ... and called on the world working class to support this front against the revolution.
Once these traps were imposed, with the revolutionary gunpowder already wet, then came the sabre of the generals and the bomb of the fascists.
At the Encounter, a hard attempt was made to explain the emergence of the "New Far-Right" by hiding the fact that it is Biden in the US who implemented Trump's plan to throw the crisis on the oppressed peoples, to organize wars in Europe and Middle East, to impose higher tariff barriers against the crisis of Chinese overproduction than those touted by Trump.... This was done by the Democratic Party after having diverted, demobilized and disorganized with siren songs the uprising of the workers and Black people, the working class and the anti-war movement, and the rebellious youth who in 2020 clashed against the state and cornered Trump in the White House to the cry of "No justice, no peace!". The reformist left surrendered the masses to the feet of the Democratic Party and its "left wing"... and Biden was the one who implemented the plan of the "right wing" under the command of BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street, the three largest capital venture funds on the planet.
Now comes Trump; he will go all the way. He is coming to smash USA’s European competition, especially Germany, which is competing against it for business in the Chinese domestic market. Most likely Trump will make a pact with Putin over Ukraine bones... to keep Ukraine itself and Russia's oil and gas business in USA’s hands... Business... "New Far-Right", which would not work or exist without the "Old Left".
In this Encounter, imperialism’s “lackey left” was covered up. Lackeys such as Boric, Petro and Lula, they do the dirty work for "the right wing", so that later it comes to finish it.
That is what they did in Argentina: the Fernandezes administration applied the plan of the worst of the "right wing", making 60% of the working class more flexible and pulverizing wages with a very high inflation, so that later Milei would come to finish their work, under the command of the same transnationals and the US ambassador that had supported the Peronist government.
Talking about fighting class collaboration fronts at that meeting would be tantamount to opening a window to let the sunshine into a room of sleeping vampires. For they are the "left leg" of those class collaboration fronts that strangle and have always strangled all the revolutionary processes.
To be honest, any serious worker minimally perceptive will realize that these people try to cover the sun with a finger. They hide the fact they are the Mélenchon servants in France. They hide the fact that they had "critically" supported the Syriza government in Greece and were part of a movement for “A more social Europe" together with their former Minister of Economy, Varoufakis. They supported the fraudulent plebiscite of Tsipras that took the Greek masses out of the streets, while the Stalinist trade union bureaucracy beat up the left wing of the working class.
They silence the nefarious role of Stalinism and the whole "anti-capitalist" left wing in the Spanish State. They put on their shoulders the scoundrels from Podemos party, who took the "Republic of the Outraged" movement out of the streets and together with Stalinism handed it over to the monarchy, so that later the latter could finish crushing the Catalan rebellion and fill the dungeons of the regime with Basque prisoners.
Today, groups of the Trotskyist renegades are supporting the Lula-and-capitalists’ administration in Brazil. They are also part of the "international" of billionaire Sanders and the DSA, the "democratic socialists" of the USA. Even Callinicos' ISO-USA directly dissolved within the DSA, which is the mainstay of Biden, the same one who commands the genocide in Gaza.
A whole book would not be enough to shed light on the nefarious policy of class collaboration of this "New International"... Let us just add that the PTS party and the whole FIT-U (Argentinian electoral front made up by Partido de los Trabajadores Socialistas, Partido Obrero, Izquierda Socialista and the Movimiento Socialista de los Trabajadores) voted in favour of 123 Peronist bills they considered "progressive". Those had been drafted by the anti-worker administration of direct US agents president Alberto Fernandez, vice Cristina Fernandez and PM Sergio Massa... And now the FIT-U cries and tears its clothes because Milei was widely voted for by a sector of the most exploited layers of the masses that were full of anger and hatred against the Peronist government.
The Encounter participants are thus so different but equal among themselves when it comes to concealing and covering up those class collaboration fronts with which countless revolutions in the five continents have been diverted.
We cannot ignore that in that meeting there was Izquierda Socialista, which is part of the FIT-U, and the Nuevo MAS of Argentina. Last year both of them called to vote for Massa, the candidate of Peronism and the Fernandezes government, which is pro-imperialist to the core, as we have already seen. It is the pro-bourgeois left wing, which always seeks the "lesser evil" but never the greater good for the workers and the exploited.
With that criterion, they would have voted for Scioli (now the Sports and Tourism Minister in the Milei administration) who was former president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner's candidate in 2015, while Mr. Massa and his gang are advisors to Wall Street vulture funds. Thus, they "enjoy their vacations", with Peronism supporting Milei's government.
We have before our eyes an event that is turning its back on the Fourth International and its founding program of 1938. This meeting is a continuation of the World Social Forum, of the Third International of Stalin and the Second International of Kautsky. That is why, as once the founders of our world party stated, we repeat: "Already today, the Fourth International has deservedly earned the hatred of the Stalinists, the social democrats, the liberal bourgeois and the fascists. There is and can be no place for it in any Popular Front. The Fourth International irreducibly combats all political groups hanging on the coattails of the bourgeoisie. Its task: the abolition of capitalist domination. Its objective: socialism. Its method: the proletarian revolution". (Transitional Program of the Fourth International)
In Buenos Aires a new meeting of the single party of Stalinists and former Trotskyists, members of the "Progressive International" was held, which left no trace of the continuity of the struggle of the Fourth International.
This "3rd Event" had the particularity that besides being an "Encounter about Trotsky", it was also convened "in tribute to the 100th anniversary of Lenin's death". This is the other great political agreement that unites all these currents: in a congress on Trotsky and Lenin they hid the Fourth International as a continuity of the struggle of Lenin and Bolshevism in the resistance and their fight to the death against Stalinism and imperialism.
The Fourth International eradicators swept this under the carpet to embrace Castroist García Hernández, transforming Lenin and Trotsky into harmless "entities", revising and falsifying their entire legacy. These leaders did not vindicate Trotsky as the political leader of the Leftist Opposition and later, founder of the Fourth International, but spoke of "their" Trotsky as one more of the "Marxist movement revolutionary figures" and used bits and pieces of his positions to pose as "Trotskyists" and pass off the program of Stalinism that they have been raising, as if it were that of Trotskyism.
Yesterday Stalinism falsified Lenin, emasculating all his revolutionary content. Today it is the former Trotskyists who do the same with comrade Trotsky so that they raze to the ground the Fourth International and its program, which these currents terminated by taking its clean banners to the mire of class collaboration to march to single parties with Stalinism, as became clear in Buenos Aires, erasing the river of blood that separates Trotskyism from the Stalinist scum of all stripes.
Proof of this is that in this meeting the different currents were presented as "the Trotskyisms" as if it were possible for there to be a "plurality of voices making their own interpretation of Trotsky"... A bunch of Lies! True Trotskyism was grouped under the banners of the Fourth International as a compact force centralized under a strategy, a theory and a program in common. To speak about "Trotskyism" and to hide the Fourth International —which foundation, according to Trotsky himself, was the most important work of his life, in order to give continuity to revolutionary Marxism— only pursues the objective of burying his legacy.
This was a new meeting of the "workers parties" of the so-called "Progressive International", a new stumbling block against the world working class that the liquidators of the Fourth International, Stalinists and bourgeois direct agents of imperialism have set up, as a continuity of the Stalinism that handed over the workers’ states in 1989 and of the "Bolivarian Revolution" scum and the old World Social Forum.
But the masses have not given up and have never missed the appointment to dozens of revolutionary processes. It is these leaderships that tie their hands so that they do not open the path to the socialist revolution.
We Trotskyists do not participate in this meeting of Stalinists and former Trotskyists who every year hold common congresses to centralize their forces, in order to restrain the struggles of the world working class, like the one we have seen in Buenos Aires, which was of no use to the proletariat in its struggle against the exploiters.
Against these leaderships, we fight to refound the Fourth International under the program of 1938, the World Party of the Socialist Revolution, to give back to the working class the leadership it needs and deserves to attain victory.
Hands off Stalinism and its ex-Trotskyist abiders, of Trotsky and Lenin!
Today more than ever it is necessary to refound the IV International, recovering it from the hands of those who have led it into the mire of class collaboration and surrendered it to the feet of Stalinism!
