TOWARDS DECEMBER 12: INTERNATIONAL DAY OF STRUGGLE FOR THE PERSECUTED WORKER
Endorsement by Nena Nelly Sanchez Torres, mother of Christian Javier Delgadillo Sanchez, a young man murdered in Paso del Comercio, Cali, on June 4th 2021
Christian is part of those thousands of young workers who were the protagonists of the revolutionary days which that year made the hated murderous Uribist regime of Duque tremble. Those brave youth of the First Lines whose only crime they committed was to rebel against an unjust system and were imprisoned, assassinated, and disappeared.
Today, despite promises of release, the vast majority of them are still in prison and those responsible for the brutal repression, abuses and massacres continue in total impunity; meanwhile, the repression has not only not stopped, but continues to deepen. That is why, as comrade Nelly says, we have to continue the struggle!
