This December 12, "International Day of the Persecuted Worker", hundreds of organizations have accompanied and adhered to the struggle for the acquittal of the oil workers of Las Heras (Argentina), who put their struggle at the service of the fight for the freedom of the Palestinian prisoners and made their own the exemplary heroic and courageous attitude of the political prisoners of Ireland, Greece, Turkey, Ukraine and Germany, who went on hunger strike for their brothers in Gaza and for the freedom of the thousands of Palestinian prisoners.
This is expressed in the call of the comrades of Las Heras: "we call all the workers' organizations, Human Rights organizations and those who are fighting for the freedom of all Palestinian prisoners to an international coordination to free all the political prisoners of the world".

Statement of the Commission of Convicted Workers, Relatives and Friends of Las Heras
Las Heras, Santa Cruz, December 4, 2023
In the eve of a new December 12, International Day of the Persecuted Worker, we can only but stand together with our Palestinian brothers and sisters, and call on all labor organizations, Human Rights organizations and those that are fighting for the freedom of all Palestinian prisoners, to an international coordination for liberating all political prisoners in the world.
10 years ago, on December 12, 2013, a brutal sentence of life imprisonment and prison terms fell on us for confronting the oil companies with a strike against the salary tax and against job insecurity. But this was not made effective and we could continue with our families fighting together for our acquittal. This happened thanks to the enormous international solidarity we received from dozens of labor and human rights organizations around the world. In particular, we will never forget the Palestinian political prisoners like Samer Al-Issawi and his jail mates who went on a hunger strike in solidarity with us that day. Georges Abdallah, a fighter for the Palestinian cause, and the Basque prisoners detained in France, did the same.
That is why we feel deeply identified with the exemplary action of the political prisoners of Ireland, Greece, Turkey, Ukraine and Germany, who went on hunger strike on November 24, for the freedom of thousands of Palestinian prisoners.
Today more than ever, we need to unite across borders to stop the genocide in Palestine and free all political prisoners in the world.
WE ARE ALL PALESTINE!
ONE CLASS, ONE SAME INTERNATIONAL FIGHT!
The rebellion of the slaves is not a crime, IT IS JUSTICE!!!!
