Iran on fire - November 9th, 2022
With widespread days of struggle, barricade fighting, and clashes with murderous repressive forces
The Iranian revolution stands up
Let the ayatollahs' regime fall!
Disband the police and the special forces of repression!
Disarm the Iranian Guard and all the guardian dogs of the Ayatollah to conquer the mass generalized arming!
For a provisional revolutionary government of the Shora, the councils of workers and of all the revolted people!
It has been more than 50 days of a massive revolutionary uprising in Iran. Mass demonstrations are taking place in hundreds of cities across the nation. The workers (especially the Gulf oil workers, the heart of the working class), the poor peasants, the students... in other words, the exploited masses have taken to the streets. Their battle cry is "Death to the dictator”.
The clashes with the repression forces are violent. They fight on barricades, confronting the murderous special forces of repression (the Basij) when they attack the masses. Police stations, Iranian Guard centres, and police vehicles are set on fire. There are 400 dead (mainly from the oppressed nationalities and youth), tens of thousands of people arrested for participating in these days of struggle, but also some Basij have fallen in the masses defence from the repressive forces of the murderous theocracy. The clerics can no longer walk the streets peacefully, as they have become moving targets of the anger of the masses. The Iranian revolution is already on the streets all over the nation in direct confrontation with an oppressive totalitarian regime and its murderous shock forces.
The Iranian revolution stood up
The driving force of such a revolutionary fire to confront the regime and its murderous repressive forces is that the situation of repression, hunger, and misery in which the workers and the people of Iran are living is no longer bearable. Such dictatorial oppression that murders women for wrongly wearing the veil is not tolerated anymore. The wages of the workers are not paid for months. Precariousness and job insecurity are commonplace, as well as dismissals, low wages that do not cope with the galloping inflation, and lack of drinking water and electricity, among other sufferings of the masses.
The revolted workers and people see that the regime must fall in order to win their demands, or else they cannot live like this anymore. That is why they took to the streets and are clashing directly with the main pillar of the regime which is the Iranian Guard and its Basij Corps and the repressive forces. The revolution has stood up with the working class and the whole exploited in the civil war by burning police stations, police vehicles, and barricades in all cities of Iran.
The uprising of the oppressed nationalities
The workers and exploited oppressed nationalities inside Iran (Kurds, Ahwazis, Baluchis, Azaris, etc.) are part and the advance guard of this revolutionary struggle. They know that in order to win their right to self-determination they must overthrow the regime. They have even marched on local government buildings. The clashes with the repressive forces are the bloodiest in all of Iran.
The regime forces opened fire using live ammunition, perpetrated massacres in bloody days, on the one hand to try to defeat the revolutionary uprising perhaps where it has become most radicalised, and also because they fear an uprising of every nationality in all the neighbouring countries and the region where they are. For example the Balochis are also in Pakistan and Afghanistan, the Kurds in Iraq, Syria and Turkey, the Ahwazis arouse the solidarity of the Iraqi Arab masses etc.
The uprising of the oppressed nationalities shook the entire Iran. It divided the bourgeoisie, as the various bourgeoisies of the oppressed nations Kurdish, Baloch, Ahwazi, etc. broke away from the Ayatollahs. They are putting forward the separation of Iran and its self-determination, though not in the sense of the overthrow of the regime in order to win the demands of the exploited, but in order to get a better slice of the business. For this, they try to ride on such an uprising, i.e. the masses put the dead and the local bourgeoisies try to use them as a bargaining chip. This manipulation of these bourgeois sectors is dangerous for the revolutionary uprising because it leads to the separation of the struggle of the exploited Balochis, Ahwazis, etc. from the whole of the uprising masses in the whole of Iran.
Long live the Iranian revolution!
Other traps against the revolution include pro-US bourgeoisie like the NCRI dressing up as "democratic" and denouncing the regime in order to form, if necessary, a "democratic front" in the face of a fall of the ayatollahs. But imperialism is not determined to bring about a change of government now. Rather it is supporting the ayatollahs to crush the revolution with its repressive forces and in any case then negotiate. It does not want the regime to fall as a product of mass action. It would be a triumph of revolutionary actions.
We can only get the demands for life, bread, and freedom by defeating the theocratic regime of the ayatollahs. The confrontation against the regime is on the streets... to overthrow it, we must defeat its repressive forces! Disband the police and the Basij! Disarm the Iranian Guard! For that, let us set up workers' and peasants' militias!
Let us march to the barracks to find the rank-and-file soldiers, the sons, brothers, and relatives of the workers and peasants under arms. Let committees of soldiers be formed who will disobey their officers and go to fight alongside the people!
In the successive days of combat, organizations have already emerged that coordinate the actions and the struggle against the regime. These organizations must be developed and understood in order to set up revolutionary committees per city, per region, and on a national level, to set up the shora of the revolution of 1980, that is to say, the councils of workers, peasants, and rank and file soldiers.
For the expropriation without payment and under workers' control of the oil, gas, and banks! The funds for a dignified life are there.
For the right to self-determination of all oppressed nationalities!
Down with the regime of the ayatollahs, their supreme leader, and all its institutions! For a workers' and peasants' revolutionary provisional government!
For the United Socialist States of the Maghreb and the Middle East!
The Iranian revolution and the struggle to defeat the murderous theocracy is a common struggle together with Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, and the whole Middle East. The ayatollahs intervened and still intervene there with their Guard and their business. Out with the Iranian Guard that massacres the peoples of Syria and Iraq!
The defeat of the ayatollahs in Iran is a victory not only for the Iranian masses but for all the workers and exploited of the Middle East. In the Syrian refugees’ demonstrations, the slogan "The road to Jerusalem is in Tehran" and "The fall of the Iranian regime is the road to Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Lebanon" is already being raised. So let the regime of the ayatollahs fall! Let the oppressive regimes in the whole Middle East fall, let the Zionist-fascist state of Israel fall! In the whole region, one and the same revolution! For the Socialist United States of the Maghreb and the Middle East!
