For a continental congress of the workers' and peasants' organizations

Biden and the Pentagon have launched a brutal offensive on Latin America. The coup and massacre of the Armed Forces in Peru and the Bolsonarist putsch in Brazil, in complicity with the Brazilian generals, are examples of this.

In the midst of the world economic crisis, imperialism seeks to subject Latin America to a redoubled colonialism in order to take over agricultural business, the gas of Vaca Muerta, lithium, Petrobras, the gold and minerals of Peru, the oil of Venezuela and to cash in on the foreign debt over the hunger and slavery of the exploited of the continent.
What lies ahead is no more "peace" or "democracy". The US offensive for Middle East oil has led to wars, coups, genocides, and bloody dictatorships. The coup in Peru, with almost 50 exploited people killed, shows the future for the working class if this ferocious imperialist advance does not stop.

The governments of the Petro, Boric, Arce, Fernandez, and now Lula, the "democratic" agents of Biden, subjugate the working class with deceit and empty-handed promises while preserving and keeping intact the murderous officer caste led by the Pentagon's Southern Command, which organizes the coups, fascist uprisings and massacres against the people. When the time comes, these "democrats" will surrender and hand themselves over to the generals as the coward Castillo did in Peru.
The forces to stop imperialism are not in the farcical governments that pave the way for imperialism. The forces are in the masses of workers and peasants in the deep Peru who are confronting the coup with indefinite strikes, barricades and demonstrations, shouting "Now is the time for civil war!” In Brazil, thousands have taken to the streets against the Bolsonarist putsch. In Venezuela, the heroic workers of Sidor are fighting alongside teachers against Maduro's starvation government. Last year, a wave of workers' strikes for wages and the right to have trade unions shook the US. Those are the forces to defeat the US, the only way to win bread, land, and decent life!

They must be stopped in Peru and Brazil, before it's too late...
No more subjugating the exploited to the servant governments of Wall Street!
Open the road for the international unity of the working class against imperialism and the butchers of the Pentagon!
If the coup in Peru is victorious and fascism prevails in Brazil, black days are coming for Latin America.
To prevent this, it is necessary for the workers' and peasants' organizations to break their subordination to the governments agents of imperialism and unite their forces from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego. It is impossible to defeat imperialism separately country by country and hand in hand with the capitalist governments.

While Wall Street coordinates the plunder of Latin America with the IMF and the Pentagon, the collaborationist trade union bureaucracies and traitorous leaderships keep the working class divided nationally and subjected to the swindle of the "progressive" governments. A policy that paves the way for the Southern Command to make a bloodbath as in the 1970s.
Enough of class-collaborationist leaderships! Let the CUT in Brazil, the CGTP in Peru, the COB in Bolivia, etc. break with the bosses' governments right now!

We must call for a big continental congress of workers' and peasants' organizations to meet in Brasilia and organize the workers' and peasants' militia to crush the coup in Peru and the fascists who rose in Brazil.
There are more than enough conditions for doing, as it is proofed by the response of the Peruvian exploited and the Brazilian working class.
It is urgent to convene this congress to organize and conquer the continental general strike, to fight to expropriate the transnationals, the bankers and all the capitalists who finance and support the fascists, to free all the comrades imprisoned for fighting, to surround the US embassies and expel their ambassadors throughout Latin America.
Such a Congress would make the US proletariat to rise, with the black movement and the millions of Latino migrants enslaved in the US, to strike Wall Street from within with the war-cry "We are the 99%! Down with the 1%!".

A congress to fight alongside the Cuban workers, who are looking for a way out of the hunger and misery imposed by this new Castrist bourgeoisie that has handed Cuba over to imperialism.
The CSP-Conlutas, which leads more than 4 million workers in Brazil and is in the leadership of the International Trade Union Network (with more than 80 trade union federations and unions around the world), must lead this call, together with the trade unions and peasant organizations facing the coup in Peru, together with SUTNA and the militant trade unionism and unemployed movement in Argentina. From these forces, from Sidor and the heart of the Venezuelan working class, from the miners of Huanuni and Colquiri in Bolivia, we must conquer this urgent congress. Nothing can prevent it!

No discussion with fascism or the coup plotters, fight them!

Out with imperialism! Out with the IMF!
Down with the OAS, CELAC, TIAR, and the Lima Group! Out with the military bases and the Southern Command throughout Latin America!
