This May 1st, International Workers' Day, finds the international working class under a brutal attack by imperialism that wants to make the world's exploited pay for its monumental crisis, which deepens every day. The rate of profit of the capitalists has fallen vertiginously, and the exploiting class is adapting and refining the mechanisms that lead to achieving a relative economic balance, and at the same time trying to stabilize its regime of domination, put in check by the courageous struggle of the masses that rose up and resist in different parts of the planet such as Latin America, the Middle East, and South Africa in 2019-2021.

In the midst of the economic recession, in a market that has shrunk, it adds to the catastrophe of the capitalist-imperialist system, a social crisis and a true humanitarian catastrophe for the masses of the world. The productive forces under the control of this rotten world economy have stagnated and deteriorated to extreme degrees, while millions of starving people do not find a way to survive, plunged into the most absolute misery throughout the planet.

In these moments hard defeats are imposed on the world working class. 11 years after the start of the Syrian 6revolution, Putin, the assassin on behalf of imperialism that imposed a genocide in Syria together with the fascist  al-Assad, entered iron and fire to crush the revolutionary workers' uprising in Kazakhstan last February, and is today invading Ukraine.
As a result of the crisis of revolutionary leadership, a decadent and rotten system that deserves to die, survives in its agony, as Comrade Trotsky correctly expressed, … “because the opportunist character of proletarian leadership: its petty bourgeois cowardice before the big bourgeoisie and its perfidious connection with it”.(León Trotsky, Transitional Program.)

In the face of the crash, despite the thousand and one betrayals, the masses have never stopped fighting and once and again are going to battle...

It is the crisis of leadership that by selling out the working class struggle, closes the road to victory.

There was no attack by the bourgeoisie on the conquests of the masses, or capitalist collapse where the working class did not seek, through great struggles, to find a way out in its favor, openly confronting the governments and mechanisms of the exploiters. Those who posed as allies of the proletariat were the ones who caused them the worst diversions, defeats, and wore down the enormous mass offensives. This was possible due to a perfidious policy of the so-called “popular fronts” or "democratic fronts", which are the ones that submit the workers' organizations to “progressive” sectors of the bourgeoisie, as they call them.
In Latin America, the combats in Ecuador, Chile and Colombia put the masses of Latin America in a position of counteroffensive, but these attacks were deflected by the betrayal of the Stalinist leaderships such as the CONIAE and the FUT in Ecuador and the CP with the Broad Front  in Chile. The Colombian workers and people put all their hearts, lives and forces in their heroic struggle that threatened to sweep away the Duque government and left it, together with the regime of the Gringos military bases badly wounded. Meanwhile, the Stalinist bureaucracy of the traitors of the Comité Nacional de Paro (National Strike Committee) lifted the strike, and were those who, together with Colombia Humana  (Human Colombia) of Petro and its pacifist Historical Pact, were the ones who gave up our struggle, leading the masses to trust in parliamentary institutions towards the electoral trap that has been imposed.

It was these Stalinist leaderships that imposed a continental class collaboration front, who are responsible for taking the victory out of our hands, supported by all the renegades of Latin American Trotskyism, disciplined from Havana. Particularly in our continent, the policy of class collaboration has inflicted harsh and cruel defeats such as a 1989 for Latin America, which meant the consummation of the surrender of the Cuban revolution and the capitalist restoration on the island by the Stalinist-Castroite bureaucracy, through the pact Obama-Castro supported by the entire world Left.

That is why today we are side by side with the Cuban workers and  people who on 11 J rose up against hunger and against the Government of the new bourgeois of the CP in Cuba. There imperialism also concentrated its counterrevolutionary forces dealing a very hard blow to the Latin American and American working class after these same leaderships submitted all these workers to the butchers of the Democratic Party, calling to support Sanders, who ended up supporting Biden in the last presidential elections.

According to official figures, more than 500 exploited were imprisoned after the hunger uprisings of 11J. We are for the unconditional and absolute freedom of the Cuban prisoners sentenced to extremely harsh prison sentences and for the end of the repression by the Stalinist henchmen of the Cuban CP. Beyond that, we internationalist Trotskyists fight for the victory of a new socialist revolution in Cuba that will triumph with the victory of the working class in all Soouth America, Central America, the Caribbean and North America, including the United States. We fight to recover the worker and socialist Cuba as a bastion of the Latin American and world revolution. As Che Guevara posed: For  1,2, 3, Vietnam!

The class collaboration policy has led the workers' uprisings and struggles to a dead end and has prevented them to bring a revolutionary and socialist solution to the collapse of the world capitalist system. These are new and enormous betrayals such as the swindle of the Bolivarian “revolution” and the “21st century socialism” that surrounded, drowned and led to the defeat of the Latin American revolution at the beginning of the 21st century. In the name of "socialism" today we see Chavism from the hand of Maduro violently attacking the Venezuelan working class, leading it to hunger and catastrophe. It is against this imposture supported by the entire world left and its terrible consequences that the steel workers of Sidor have stood up,  whom we call now to set up a regrouping pole for the working class of the entire continent.

Debemos volver a poner en pie los organismos de poder de los de abajo, avanzar en la creación de organizaciones que sean conformadas a partir de nombrar  delegados de cada fábrica, empresa, colegio, hospital, barrios, en cada ciudad, y en el campo, llamando a los soldados rasos, hijos, hermanos de los trabajadores y el pueblo pobre a dar vuelta el fusil, por encima de sus generales y oficialidad, poniendo sus armas al servicio  de los explotados en cada país.

Against the perfidious policy of class collaboration that subjects the working class to its executioners and that prevents the only class that can provide a way out of capitalist barbarism from breaking out independently...
We must reestablish the power organizations of those below, advance in the creation of organizations that are formed by appointing delegates from each factory, company, school, hospital, neighborhood, in each city, and in the countryside, calling the rank and files soldiers, sons, brothers of the workers and the poor people to turn the gun, above their generals and officers, putting their weapons at the service of the exploited in each country.
We can get ahead of the crisis, and the barbarism to which capitalism has led us.  It is a great task to set up revolutionary Leninist, combative and insurrectionalist parties.
The task of the moment is to recover the World Party of the Socialist Revolution, under the banners of the Fourth International, and its founding program of 1938, from the hands of those who, together with  Stalinism, buried it in the mud of reformism. We fervently believe that it is the most urgent fight ahead.
