For an internationalist May Day of worker struggle and for the socialist revolution
Declaration of the Collective for the Refoundation of the IV International (FLTI)
The capitalist imperialist system is in one of its deepest crises and bankruptcies, even deeper than that of the ‘30s last century. Since 2008, a world crash has broken out in the economic centers of the imperialist powers, where the finance capital parasitism was completely apparent at plain sight.
The capitalists have stolen benefits, earnings and profits that human labor hasn’t yet produced and placed them in their pockets. Since 2008 and in successive crises, more than 90 trillion US dollars just vanished into the air in the world-economy, getting out from the productive process and going to the pockets of 1% of parasites that live out of clipping coupons of their stocks at the expense of hunger and misery of thousands of millions of slaves and looting the subjugated people.
They, from the financial districts of London, Wall Street, Paris, Frankfurt… have fabricated once and again fictitious values of mortgages and valueless bonds of the state treasuries they themselves sent to bankruptcy. They accumulated futures of commodities as values without any backup. They have extracted super profits from loans at 0% interest rate, which far from being invested in the productive process, they put into their pockets as profits. Such parasites!
The biggest investments of the imperialist states and biggest “subsidies” to the companies is the war industry. Artificial Intelligence, robotics, communications are only products of the civil branch coming from the sources of privileges of the states to the military industry. What the capitalist system in decomposition is developing is destructive forces. They have filled the planet with weapons and thousands of nuclear bombs, which undoubtedly will seek a market in which to be sold, which is no other than WAR. This is the most important capitalist enterprise in this epoch.
We are before a perverse system that is carrying the greater toiling masses of the world to desperation and leading civilization to barbarism.
On this May Day:
The current conditions for the masses are even more serious and cruel than the ones that pushed the workers of the world to great international class fights in the late 19th century for an 8 hour shift.
More than 262 million migrants wander around the world seeking a place to survive. They are overcrowded in the borders of Europe, dying as animals in the Mediterranean Sea, which has become the graveyard of the outcasts of the 21st century. They built walls and expelled parents and entire families from the USA, leaving their American-born children in prison. Other millions migrants seek where to survive in Africa, wander in Latin America, as it happens now in the Chile-Peru borders, and are used as slave labor force by the cowardly and over-exploiter native bourgeoisie. In China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam… they have put millions of workers in jail-factories that even Hitler would envy.
The different rounds of the crisis have left more than 800 million unemployed or underemployed. If at the beginning of the 19th century, the working class paralyzed and many times destroyed the machines, for it saw them as the cause of slavery, while it was discovering that the enemy and executioners were the capitalists, now, in this epoch of absolute decay of this rotten system, the capitalist parasites and imperialist bankers are the ones that paralyze and destroy the machines. They are an unbearable dead-weight for civilization itself.
On this May Day:
We revolutionary socialists affirm that, before the situation of decomposition and bankruptcy of the capitalist system, the working class and the large exploited masses cannot raise their living standards let alone get new gains without destroying and throwing to the dustbin of history this irrational mode of production. The working class cannot even survive if it does not try it again, if it does not succeed in the socialist revolution, first of all, in the imperialist centers, without organizing and planning the productive forces at world level. This is for what the Martyrs of Chicago and millions of workers fought and died for in decades of struggle.
Truth is at plain sight. Against what is held by the reformist trade union bureaucrats and parties that claim to be for the workers but are agents of capital, every gain we might get, as a result of great struggles, if the working class does not seize power, those gains are lost. That’s the truth.
Therefore, this May Day finds us fighting once again not only for a working day of 8 hours, which we have lost in most of the planet, but also for decent work, even for eating. This capitalist system cannot even give a rice dish to its slaves. It has long deserved to die.
It is destroying and separating the most valuable commodity of the planet from the productive apparatus, i.e. the commodity that produces the whole existing wealth, which is no other thing than the labor force.
On this May Day:
The reformist left and the trade union bureaucracies that every day betray the workers' struggles are making rallies in commemoration of May Day.
There they remember about “socialism” and “militant internationalism” but every day of the year they are on their knees before the capitalist states and sectors of the native bourgeoisies, looking for a “lesser evil” with the goal, as they say, to “broaden the democracy for the working class in order to improve their living standards”. For them, socialism is for an uncertain future and for “holidays”.
We are not surprised. Stalinists, social-imperialists and today renegades of the Fourth International want to hide from the proletarian masses of the world that they directly, as Stalinism did by associating to imperialism (or others serving as “protective shield”), were the traitors and Judas who sold out the gains of the seizure of power by the masses in the 20th century. Yesterday they did it in the USSR, in China, in Vietnam… and now they are doing ir by beating down and imprisoning the starving workers of Cuba to hand it over to the new capitalists of the island. In the middle of the bankruptcy of the world capitalist system, they put ñ the war-cry “Socialism is no more”, and filled their pockets with dollars as the new rich associated with the imperialist transnational companies.
And now that over two decades have passed since the start of the 21st century, the new and old reformists complain about the “crisis of subjectivity” of the masses and their “lack of socialist perspective”. They say we are in a “new epoch” of “capitalist restoration” in this dark century. This is being said by those who cover up the ones that sold out one by one the gains of the world working class and betray each of their revolutionary struggles every day. Let’s talk clearly. They handed over the former USSR, one of the largest raw material sources of the planet in oil and gas, which let the imperialist Maastricht survive and receive air and fresh blood in their sclerotic veins, collaborating decisively with the French-German axis in setting up a world division of labor in the whole Europe.
Stalinism sold out the Chinese proletariat to the world capitalist market on behalf of “market socialism”. They filled China with sweatshops and transnational companies, and pushed millions of workers into the world market with miserable wages, which pushed down the wage of the world proletariat.
These traitors talk to us about “socialism of the 21st century” and keep Venezuela totally subjected to the IMF and the imperialist plunder, while leaving millions of hungry today migrating through the Americas.
The Castroite bureaucracy, turned into a new bourgeoisie, dealt the Latin American working class one of the toughest blows, selling out the workers and peasants' Cuba to imperialism.
You, Messrs. leaders, in the name of “socialism” and the “anti imperialist struggle”, have covered up the massacre and one of the biggest genocides against the exploited, made by the murderer al-Assad and Putin, who crushed the Syrian revolution doing the “dirty work” to all the imperialist powers. You made the greatest butchers of the world working class appear as “socialists”.
You, trade union bureaucrats and Stalinists, were in charge of diverting, betraying and subordinating to the executioners each one of the revolutionary fights that the working class made in spite of you in the 21st century.
Thanks to all of you this rotten capitalist system is still on its feet and has not fallen, whereas the Martyrs of Chicago and millions of workers of the world heroically left their lives and blood to overthrow it.
On this May Day:
The revolutionary socialists, militants of the Fourth International, denounce you, “Messrs. leaders”, who have negotiated the blood of the Martyrs of Chicago a long time ago and sold out the gains of the international proletariat one by one.
We affirm that the crisis of the working class is the overabundance of treacherous leaderships, bought off by the parasitic capital in order to endure in history.
Despite the offensives of the capitalist system and their regimes and governments…
Despite a thousand and one treasons…
The world working class wages battle
France is on fire.
In Paris, May is anticipated
“The revolutionary springtime is coming”.
With these statements and calls, the militant working class of France will receive this May Day. The eyes of the European and world proletariat are fixed on this revolutionary offensive of the working class in an imperialist country, as they were yesterday on the workers' uprising in the USA in defense of the black people against Wall Street and the white supremacists.
The working class of the main countries have the key to the victory of the uprising of millions of slaves in the colonies and semi-colonies.
The French working class has been in an insurgency state for more than three months. Their struggle in defense of their pensions have become a mass political fight that, in daily clashes with the police, pushes to defeat on the streets the government of Macron and the entire counterrevolutionary scaffold of the imperialist Fifth Republic.
Just as in May 1968, the struggle of the French working class put at the order of the day the fight for the Paris Commune of 1871, when the young proletariat showed it could take over the citadel of power.
The imperialist bourgeoisies have put the bankruptcy of their banks and finance capital on the backs of the workers for them to pay for their crisis and their losses.
The French working class is the advanced detachment of the huge class combats with which the proletariat of the imperialist countries of Maastricht is waking up again.
Huge strikes of transport workers are taking place in England. The health workers, public transport workers and all the state employees in Germany have cornered that bastard imperialist bourgeoisie
People fight in the former Soviet republics, today colonized by imperialism.
From Eastern Europe, the rebellions of the working class of the former Soviet republics have begun. Yesterday's battles in Georgia have intensified again in the Caucasus and in Armenia. The powerful oil proletariat of Kazakhstan entered the fray, doing so simultaneously with the Belarusian working class.
It was the jackal of Moscow, the counterrevolutionary murderer Putin, who came out to defend the business of the capitalists and imperialism in these already colonized nations. Yesterday he did so by massacring in Syria and today by invading Ukraine, crushing oppressed nations as happened before with the Chechnyan genocide.
The European working class is up in the fight and has not given up! That's the way to put up a fight!
The combat of the masses of the Middle East: enormous revolutionary energies, cruel betrayals
Between the defeats and massacres in Syria and Yemen and a new fighting offensive in the region
Despite the massacre in Syria and Yemen, the working class in the Middle East continue their offensive against capital and the regimes and governments of the imperialist oil companies.
In that region, in Syria martyred by Putin, al-Assad and the US imperialists, more than 600,000 dead have been assassinated and 11 million have remained as refugees. A true genocide, which has culminated in the partition of that oppressed nation, while hundreds of thousands are missing or tortured and detained in prisons and concentration camps.
In Syria, as in Yemen or the Palestinian nation, the Chicago martyrs die daily. They are the most exploited sectors of the world proletariat, who "dared" to rise up against their oppressors.
Iran's powerful proletariat at the center of the Middle East workers' struggle
But that fight is not over. In Iran, a huge strike of all oil, gas and petrochemical workers, one of the key battalions of the Middle East proletariat, has taken the lead in the fight against the murderous regime of the Iranian theocracy. They fight for bread. They raise the demands of all the oppressed sections, the youth, the working women, the poor peasants, and the oppressed peoples in that nation.
The Iranian labour movement has already understood that if the infamous regime is not defeated, those at the top will continue to live like kings and those at the bottom like beggars.
In Lebanon, too, there is a struggle against the theft of the Hezbollah government allied with the arch-reactionary Maronite bourgeoisie, a lackey of imperialism. The working class has not retreated in Tunisia or Algeria.
In Iraq the insurrectionary masses have entered the citadel of power.
A revolutionary uprising twinned with the uprising of the exploited in Sri Lanka.
In Iraq, the exploited masses went very far. It is one of the biggest oil and energy producing countries but there is no electricity in people's homes, no water... and no bread. The US invasion left one million dead. The US working class and the Iraqi resistance expelled the invader and now the exploited are going for what is theirs. They took over the "Green Zone" and the government house. The masses have gone too far... They entered the very citadel of power; what the cowardly native bourgeoisie and the traitorous leaderships of the workers' organizations of the world never dreamed of calling upon them to do.
The masses of the Middle East have not surrendered. In spite of enormous massacres and betrayals, they remain on the offensive. The fight for the United Socialist States of the Maghreb and Middle East is the only way out of the genocide and martyrdom of the masses of the region.
The most advanced struggle against the IMF and imperialist plunder takes place in Sri Lanka.
Just a couple of months ago, the working and popular masses of Sri Lanka, tired of the plunder by the IMF and the starvation plans of their government, seized the citadel of power, threw out the president, took selfies on the president's bed. As we said, the same thing had happened in Iraq months before.
That is how deep the working class have been in this revolutionary onslaught. But the proletariat in its spontaneity is neither educated nor prepared, without a revolutionary party at its head, to seize power, to stay in the citadel they had already seized, to conquer the Commune with a victorious revolution of those from below.
The exploited got there, so far, where the treacherous leaderships of old recycled Stalinists, renegades of Marxism, liquidators of Trotskyism, and new variants of all kinds of reformism never wanted them to go.
On this May Day, the black working class refuses to be enslaved.
Today in South Africa, they are rising up against their executioners of the African National Congress, supported by a new millionaire bourgeoisie that has emerged from the bowels of the old South African Communist Party.
That country was shaken by a general strike that put the fall of Ramaphosa, the president of the black bourgeoisie that administers the businesses of the transnationals and the white land-owners of the old Apartheid, on the top of the agenda. The ANC government, supported by the black slave-owning bourgeoisie and Stalinism, attacks its own people and pits the South African workers against the thousands of migrants from Zimbabwe, Mozambique and all of Southern Africa, blaming them for unemployment and misery... AN INFAMY! Transnationals and their corrupt politicians are the ones sinking the nation!
The working class of South Africa comes from fighting in the big mines of AngloAmerican; with strikes and struggles in the streets they left the previous government of Zuma mortally wounded... The workers of South Africa are at the head of the struggle of the whole continent and together with the black proletariat of the USA, they are destined to be the advance guard of the colored proletariat all over the world. The struggle for workers' and peasants' Black Republics in Central and Southern Africa is the order of the day.
Widespread mass struggles and anti-imperialist offensive in Latin America
Huge betrayals and deceptions of reformism to get the masses off the streets
Imperialism already raises the whip of fascism
In the last couple of years, with revolutionary general strikes, huge barricade fights, spontaneous insurrections, clashes with the soldiers and murderous police, millions of exploited people of Latin America rose up, country after country.
Plundered and looted by the IMF, the imperialist banks and the transnationals that expropriate its wealth, Latin America has been driven into prostration and its exploited masses have been made to suffer the worst of all.
US imperialism has stamped on its "backyard". It is coming for minerals, gas, oil, lithium, agro-industry and all sources of raw materials. In the midst of its struggle with the rest of the imperialist powers of Maastricht Europe, this is what the USA needs to contest its domination of the world market and to move to recolonize, as it will do with blood and fire, the great China and Russia to get out of its bankruptcy and historical crisis.
To maintain their domination of the planet, the US first of all needs the political and military control of governments that are their direct agents in Latin America. They have filled the continent with military bases in Chile, Colombia, Honduras, Peru, and some secret ones like Paraguay. They also have a NATO military base in the Islas Malvinas.
Yesterday in Chile, in Colombia, in Ecuador, in Bolivia and as we saw recently in Peru, the brave working class and the poor peasants of Latin America pushed the governments of imperialism in the region into a crisis.
The workers of Latin America were dragging the ballast imposed on them by that swindle of the "Bolivarian Revolution", which ended up handing Cuba over to imperialism, subjecting Venezuela to the IMF and leaving Bolivia in the hands of a fascist coup, with Morales and the "Bolivarians" surrendering and running away, leaving the masses subjected to the worst massacres as in Senkata and Sacaba. They surrendered just as Castillo did today to the coup of the US bases and the puppet Congress in Peru, while the army and the police murdered more than 70 workers and youth in revolt, in order to keep the renewal of the mineral contracts and the lithium.
Despite and against this, a second wave of revolutionary offensives then shook the subcontinent in recent years. The most recent of these fights, as we said, was led by the Peruvian workers and peasants. Before that, the uprising in Colombia had put up a fight against the regime of the military bases. In Ecuador, the government of Lenín Moreno fled from the capital Quito, which was taken over by an uprising of workers and peasants. In Chile, Santiago was burning as Paris is burning today and, as in Cairo's Tahrir Square in Egypt, the Plaza de la Dignidad and La Alameda were occupied. The working class also entered into open combat against Bolsonaro and his arch-reactionary government in Brazil just a year ago. Meanwhile, with the cry "Now, yes, civil war!", the protagonists of the fascist coup of Añez and Camacho in Bolivia were sent to the dustbin.
The old traps of the class-collaborationist fronts and governments of Stalinism and its new ex-Trotskyist partners to get the masses off the streets
With the class-collaborationist fronts supported by Stalinism, the trade union bureaucracies, and supported by the renegades of Trotskyism with "siren songs", betraying the struggles and dividing the mass offensives, subjected the exploited to swindles of farcical "Constituent Assemblies," electoral diversions and fronts with the bourgeoisie who call themselves "progressive" ... But it was only thanks to the betrayal and collaboration of all the traitorous leaderships of the trade unions and the peasant movement that these traps managed to be imposed temporarily.
Here and there, they pushed back the onslaught of the masses. They subjected the Latin American exploited to their "democratic" executioners, the same ones who had long since cowardly knelt before the fascists, like Lula in Brazil or, as we have said, Morales in Bolivia and Castillo in Peru. These governments continue applying and even deepening the IMF's starvation plans, as Petro is doing in Colombia. No different from the imperialist lackey government of the Fernandez in Argentina, who have led the working class of that country to unheard of hardship.
Meanwhile imperialism keeps the whip in the window. It disciplines all its agents not to even think of flirting with the people or touching their business.
In Chile it has its exemplary pupil Boric, who, supported by Stalinism, militarized all the workers' neighborhoods and sent military troops to the north of Chile. He had already intervened militarily in Araucania. At the moment, new troops of the Pinochetist army are being deployed in the border with Peru. There, they are already treating migrant workers from Santiago and Lima as "delinquents", who are only clamoring to be able to return to their homes.
Dina Boluarte, the political criminal and repressor, did the same in Peru. She militarized the borders with Chile with the excuse of encircling a few thousand Venezuelan and Haitian migrants who, as we said, only want to return to their countries. Even the outcasts of Haiti, a country mired in barbarism, occupied by the UN, which is nothing more than a reservoir of starving people, want to return.
The migrants are just a pretext. Dina Boluarte has militarized all of Peru's borders with Bolivia, Ecuador, Brazil and Colombia and has taken the entire army onto the streets.
This time the excuse, with which imperialism and its agents in Chile, Peru and also Bolivia are preparing to crush migrant workers, is not that they are "terrorists", as they said in the Middle East, but that they are.... "criminals". There is no doubt that with these counterrevolutionary military preparations they will treat the Chilean and Peruvian workers as they treat their siblings, the workers of Venezuela and Haiti on their borders today.
The "leftist" government of Boric and the counterrevolutionary Bonapartist government of Dina need to take the armed forces to the streets to defend, against the masses who "dared" to rise up against their executioners in revolutionary actions, the minerals such as lithium, copper and all the business of the imperialist bankers.
We revolutionary socialists denounce the reformist parties, the trade union bureaucracies and those who on behalf of Trotskyism stained their banners, supporting Boric, Petro, Lula, Arce. They supported those new cowardly pro-US governments of the native bourgeoisies that only use the masses to bargain a higher share and use them as currency in their business as junior partners of imperialism.
We call to break the subjugation of the Latin American working class to their native bourgeoisies, regimes and governments and to coordinate a continental struggle to expel imperialism from Latin America.
Our allies are not these governments of liars and deceivers of the people, dressed as "progressives" while taking instructions from the US embassies and the centurions of the US bases. Our allies are neither Sanders nor Biden, Wall Street partners in the same business as Trump and his gang, but the American working class.
Open the road to the unity and struggle of the working class of the American continent!
An alternative that is at the same time historical and present: Socialism or barbarism. Revolution or war.
This perverse system is only and will always be supported by war. Reformists and the treacherous leaderships are so cynic as to lie to the workers, suggesting not only that they can improve their standard of living without defeating the system with the triumph of the revolution, but also have the audacity to affirm that the imperialist powers in bankruptcy "are expanding their domination with democracy.” These leaders are not massacred in Egypt or Syria. They are not slaves in a factory in China, Vietnam or India. They are not part of the millions of migrants who have neither democracy nor rights in the imperialist Europe of Maastricht, a key sector of the working class in those countries. They are not Harlem workers. They are not workers crushed by Putin's army, nor do they die in the occupied Ukraine by the white troops of the counterrevolutionary Great Russia. Their policy is infamy and deceit.
We denounce:
In every revolutionary process these currents lie to the masses. They tell them that the revolution has not started, that they are dealing with "simple impotent uprisings", when in reality they are dealing with enormous independent mass actions that break the dikes and corsets imposed by the bourgeoisie and the treacherous leaderships that can no longer control them as before, not even the exploited rebels allow it.
They cheat the workers and their own honest militants. They want to make the working class believe that a revolution is only the one that succeeds and not as it happens in life, that the majority of them are betrayed, defeated, diverted. Why so many lies and fiddling with words? Because for revolutionary Marxism when independent mass actions begin (as it does not cease to happen in dozens of revolutionary outbreaks), the central task is to fight to set up the armed dual power organizations of the workers and exploited, to defeat the treasonous leaderships and pave the way for the victory of the revolution.
These people are not just political cowards; they are treasonous agents of the enemy, who together with the bourgeoisie block the way for the masses so that they do not sound the punishment on their executioners.
Thus, in the revolutionary uprisings in Latin America, they have aborted any attempt to coordinate the combats of the union organizations in struggle with the rebellious youth and between the employed or unemployed workers and they have separated the combat of the working class from the uprisings of the poor peasants. That is the role of these leaderships.
We denounce:
In wars they raise the banner of "peace" or directly place themselves under the military discipline of the counterrevolution. They marched with al-Assad and Putin massacring hundreds of thousands of Syrian workers whom they called "terrorists".
We denounce them because they march with the tanks of Putin, the Tsar's new apprentice, who is invading Ukraine today to demand, with its partition, to continue being the guardian of imperialist businesses in all the former Soviet republics and in Russia itself, while he appropriates part of the Ukrainian territory, as he did before with Chechnya, with South Ossetia, with its current invasion of Belarus, etc.
We denounce them for abandoning the struggle for the independence of the oppressed nations. We denounce them because they hide the fact that those who die in the war in Ukraine, those who take up arms, those who fall under Putin's bombs, are the Ukrainian workers. The latter are the ones who fight in the war and who die on the battlefields of their occupied nation.
We denounce these people and those who declare themselves "neutral" for not unconditionally supporting the young rebels who rise up in Moscow so as not to join the army and go to kill their brothers in Ukraine.
We denounce them because they accuse the Ukrainian working class of being “NATO agents” and that they “fight for it”. They are wretched people.
These currents tell the Ukrainian proletariat that it must not only defeat Putin's invasion, while it must necessarily fight to defeat the government of Zelensky’s oligarchy inside Ukraine, which in the middle of the war takes away the wages and conquests of the entire working class in the rear. And in addition to these historic tasks, these leaders demand that the Ukrainian workers, facing one of the world's most powerful armies invading their nation, defeat NATO on their own. Rascals.
NATO can only be defeated by means of uniting the Ukrainian and Russian working class with the entire European proletariat. NATO defeat lies in the struggle of the workers in France, England, Germany.
You, the union bureaucracies and social-imperialist parties, are the ones who support Maastricht and NATO, your governments and regimes in the face of the hatred of the masses that, as today, are burning Paris.
You, lackeys of European imperialism and NATO, are the ones who refuse to coordinate the struggles of the working class across the continent to crush Maastricht and defeat NATO war machine.
You told the Ukrainian workers and the whole of Europe that a “social Maastricht” could be built at the service of the workers. How cynical!
And today, all of you together leave the Ukrainian working class alone to be massacred by the gendarme of the capitalists in Eurasia, the butcher Putin, while U.S. imperialism rubs its hands and then keeps most of the bounty.
For the unity of the European working class from Portugal to the Russian steppes! For the military defeat of Putin's counterrevolutionary troops in Ukraine! Let's open the path to the Russian working class and youth!
For a Soviet, worker and independent Ukraine! Let the revolutionary USSR return without its betrayers, the Stalinist scourge! Death to the "red businessmen" and the slaveholders of Beijing, organizers of the transnational businesses and the greatest executioners of the working class on the planet!
Neither with the NATO of the U.S. nor with the Maastricht Europe of the Franco-German axis! Fiery France must recapture and conquer the Paris Commune! For the United Socialist States of Europe!
Under the banners of the IV International!
From the Collective for the Refoundation of the IV International / FLTI we call the workers of the world on this May 1st to recover the greatest conquest that we workers had: for decades and decades our daily fight was a united combat of the international working class. It was like this, with militant internationalism, that we achieved each and every one of our conquests.
It was the Social Democracy and Stalinism that, submitting us every day in our struggles to the regimes and the national bourgeoisies, made our fighting impotent.
In each mass offensive, the workers seek to unite and coordinate their struggles even internationally. It is the lack of an internationalist revolutionary leadership that prevents them from conquering it. What European worker would not seek to fight together and like in the rebellious France? What worker from the invaded Ukraine does not want to fight together with their brothers and sisters from Georgia, Kazakhstan and Belarus who rise up against the beast Putin? What Chinese worker does not seek to get out of his nation-prison, subjugated by the counterrevolutionary bourgeois beast of the "red bosses" Party in Beijing? What worker from Latin America does not seek to unite Plaza Dignidad with the workers of Peru and Colombia and with the workers of Minneapolis who shouted “Dissolution of the police!” and “No justice, no peace!”?
Freedom now to the political prisoners of the world who are in the dungeons of the bourgeois regimes!
Release the tortured Syrian prisoners! Freedom now to the Iranian prisoners, who by the hundreds are taken to the scaffold daily by the counterrevolutionary theocracy of Iran! Release the heroic Palestinian prisoners!
Freedom now to the Basque prisoners and the young anarchists detained in the prisons of Greece!
The workers of the world demand justice for those massacred in Colombia, in Juliaca-Peru, in Senkata and Sacaba.
Freedom now for the prisoners of the mass uprisings in Chile, Colombia, Peru!
Freedom for the imprisoned Cuban workers who rose up against hunger and slavery imposed by the "red businessmen" who sold out the island to capitalism!
All of them are the symbol of the fight for the freedom of all the political prisoners of the world. Our fight is today alongside them as it was before with our heroes, the Chicago Martyrs.
Bankrupt capitalism only prepares new catastrophes for the working class and the entire civilization. The struggle of the imperialist powers to control a shrinking world market, with their profits being threatened, will lead to new military conflagrations, if the working class does not prevent it.
But the last word is not said. The proletariat has not withdrawn from the battlefield although it does not have the leadership it deserves for the heroic combats it goes through.
But a thousand times our enemies believed that they were burying the fight for the socialist revolution during more than 170 years, and a thousand times the fight for the revolution resurged. Without it, the working class do not live. And for it to live, imperialism must die.
The working class needs to distinguish who are their allies and who are their enemies because the biggest blows come from the back and from inside their struggles.
Previous generations of the proletariat made a thousand and one attempts to take the path of international socialist revolution. There is no other alternative. And for this we need to set up and re-found the World Party of the Socialist Revolution, the Fourth International.
For a Workers’, Internationalist 1st of May for the Socialist Revolution!
