ARGENTINA'S PARLIAMENTARY LEFT WING APPROACHES THE TWO-DEMON THEORY IN OCCUPIED PALESTINE
The position of the parliamentary left resembles the "two demons" theory. (1)
Cornered by the politicians of the US embassy in the Congress of Argentina, it adapts to them and condemns Hamas and its action at the forefront of the mass uprising of the masses massacred for decades in Gaza and the whole Palestine, and also condemns the state of Israel. They have remained, like yesterday in Syria, in the "anti-terrorist" front with which imperialism sweetens its worst massacres on the planet. A sheer brutality.
Of course we revolutionaries have differences with Hamas, but we are not going to discuss them with the fascists who occupy the Palestinian nation; and even less with the parties of the US embassy in Argentina to sweeten their ears. We disagree with Hamas from the left, for their practising a policy of class collaboration…
Hamas is not a terrorist group.
You have to say so. It is high time. You are entering the "anti-terrorist front of the United States and its "axes of evil".
Of course we disagree with Hamas because of its policy of Bonapartist control of the masses and its religious objective. We disagree because it refuses, like the corrupt and collaborationist Palestinian National Authority in the West Bank, to coordinate and centralize a Palestinian national command and assembly of all the occupied territories and refugees. We disagree with them for not raising a policy of organizing Palestinian mass trade unions. We criticize them for their inconsistency and their petty bourgeois military policy of "striking to negotiate".
But we discuss the differences with Hamas within the Palestinian resistance movement and not with the political and military forces of those who occupy Palestine on the basis of genocide and land theft.
Hamas is a political party.
It was voted in and won the elections in Gaza and also in the West Bank against the Palestinian Authority.
It has every right to have an army to defend itself against the invader, just as it governs schools, hospitals, rubbish collection, tax collection.
Therefore, far from attacking Hamas, we must fight for the recognition of all armed formations in Palestine as belligerent forces, including first of all Hamas, which is attacked daily in the encircled Gaza. This is an obligation.
This is what the Geneva Convention itself states, which the regime's left refuses to lift in order to demand, Weapons to Palestine!
For the withdrawal of the Zionist ambassadors of an occupying state, from all countries. That is what we must demand. This is democratic!
The US gives the state of Israel US$ 8 billion to arm itself to the teeth to keep occupying the Palestinian nation.
The Zionist state is a fortress and a grounded aircraft carrier on behalf of the USA imperialists.
Its settlers (what right do they have to colonize and steal land from a nation?) are fascist militiamen expelling Palestinians from their land and nation, and those who are still there have no rights except to die in a Warsaw-like ghetto.
Terrorists? The Terrorist is Zionism and its 700,000 men armed to the teeth always ready to massacre in the Middle East.
Yes! They are mercenary terrorists paid with succulent salaries of US$ 2000 to 6000 from the age of 17 to arm themselves and march to kill and expel women, children and whole families from their land. This is Zionism.
The left that defends the Palestinian nation, those of us who fight for a proletarian political and military leadership of the war, do not crawl around denouncing forces rising up against the occupation.
They are not the same thing.
Since 1948, the US and Zionism have declared a war of occupation and ethnic cleansing on the Palestinian nation.
There is a war. There are trenches. Does the parliamentary left want to be in the middle?
We do not forget.
Palestine was occupied with weapons, fascist progroms and massacres. We need only remember those in Lebanon, at the Palestinian refugee camps of Sabra and Shatila, where 4,000 women, men and children were massacred by fascist Maronite and Zionist forces in a single night in 1982 when Israel was also occupying that nation.
There will be no forgetting.
Today, the sons and grandsons of a thousand and one massacres of Zionism are fighting in Gaza.
We fight for a proletarian military leadership of the war.
We fight for a single intifada of the entire Middle East.
What do those who condemn the Palestinian resistance forces propose to them? To disarm themselves? Come on, be clear. THEY ARE LAUNCHING PEACE DOVES WHILE THERE IS AN ONGOING PALESTINIAN GENOCIDE.
We repudiate currents like the PTS that propose the right to "self-determination" for the Palestinian people when they are already - and have never questioned being- a nation.
Why don't they raise the right to self-determination of Argentina or Brazil?
They are making such a fuss in order to refuse to argue that there is no freedom for the Palestinian nation state unless the state of Israel is destroyed
And much less will there be any possibility of winning a workers' and socialist government in a liberated Palestine without defeating the US-Zionist stronghold of Israel.
They are not only condemning two demons. They are entering the Zionist left lead by the Zionist Stalinism which Is raising its program. The PTS in dozens of notes has published positions of those they consider progressive Zionists. Please, stop lying. If they are such, let them become Palestinian nationals. Let them join the Palestinian militias and trade unions.
Either you are for an independent Palestine or for subjugating it to the invader. In the middle there is only hell.
Don't worry.
With their programme they will not lose any votes. But they are no match for revolutionary parliamentarians like Karl Liebknecht, who stood up to the warmongering scoundrels in the First World War.
Don't worry.
They are very close to the parties of the Argentine bourgeoisie and keep very, very isolated from the Palestinian and Middle Eastern masses.
And we are not exaggerating. In front of millions of people watching the presidential candidates' debate, Miriam Bregman expressed her condolences for the Zionist soldiers killed in the uprising in Gaza.
And the 12,000 killed in the Palestinian ghettos? And the half of the Palestinian people outside their homeland?
There are not two demons. There is only one terrorism coming out of hell: Zionism and imperialism.
Gaza is a slave uprising.
This is not crime.
This is justice.
Are they not submissive?

(1) The theory of "the two demons" is held by the Argentinean right, which puts an equal sign between the state terror of the '70s dictatorship and the struggle of the workers and popular fighters against it, and claims the genocidal military were also victims, thus justifying the genocide.
