Resolution of the Conference in active Solidarity and Internationalist Struggle with the insurgency of the workers and peasants of Peru held on February 11:

Appeal to all labor, peasant, human rights organizations in Latin America and the world

Let's put together a Latin American and international Fighting Committee in support of the Peruvian masses, who are suffering a brutal coup with hundreds of wounded, prosecuted and murdered

Everybody to Lima to set up a Continental Congress of workers' organizations to promote the fight against imperialism in all Latin America!

On February 11 a Conference in active Solidarity with the Peruvian people was held. Dozens of labor and popular organizations from Latin America and the world decided to carry out the appeal that we put forward here to all the currents that claim to be defenders of the rights of the oppressed peoples of the world, of democratic and anti-imperialist freedoms.

Two months have gone by since a coup by a regime hated by the people that has claimed the lives of more than 70 brothers, which has left more than 1,200 injured, dozens of prisoners and hundreds of fighters prosecuted, threatened to go to prison at any moment, while the regime tries to militarize all the regions of deep Peru.
This bloody coup is promoted, already openly, by US imperialism and its large transnationals with which the government has already committed to granting the renewal of the mining contracts and giving it the enormous wealth of lithium in exchange for coins. 30 billion dollars the transnationals do take from the mining wealth of Peru and not even 10% of this wealth remains in Peru, where this percentage is stolen and shared among a miserable native oligarchy.

Tens of thousands of poor peasants, workers and students mobilized from the regions for weeks in Lima, the capital, where they gathered enormous solidarity.

The workers, the poor people, the peasants and the students took the fight into their own hands, since the leaders of the CGTP union bureaucracy, starting the day of the coup itself, have sought to negotiate behind the backs of the revolted masses with the government of Dina Boluarte and the coup parliament an orderly transition, without the people in the streets, so that the objectives of this infamous coup are consumated.
The people rejected this betrayal and organized themselves, set up unitary organizations to fight in the provinces, in the regions and at the national level, such as the Comité Nacional de Lucha de las Regiones del Perú (National Committee for the Fight of the Regions of Peru) .

Thus, on February 11, invited by the newspaper International Workers Organizer, the National Committee for the Struggle of the Regions of Peru was present and participated actively, supporting this motion, in which they intervened together with delegates of CONFENUTSSA, in the latter's union hall. They participated and endorsed these proposals: the Unión de Trabajadores de Colombia (Union of Workers of Colombia) together with young people from the First Lines of the uprising of the Colombian people in 2021, who still cry out for the freedom of their prisoners and justice for their martyrs. Miners from the Huanuni mines in Bolivia, and also from Senkata, relatives of those killed by the fascist coup of Camacho and Áñez in 2019, sent their greetings. The words of solidarity of the Coordinadora 18 de Octubre of Chile could not be missing, which still calls for the freedom of dozens and dozens of convicted political prisoners in that country where, in 2019, they led one of the first rebellions in Latin America against the infamous NAFTA regimes.The International Network for the Liberation of Political Prisoners and Justice for Our Martyrs was also present. Solidarity also arrived at the event from the metal workers from Cádiz of the Spanish State, migrant workers from the Black Vests and fighters from the Solidarity Union of France, subway workers from Brazil, fighters from Syria and the Middle East who have suffered for decades ferocious massacres and genocides through which the imperialist oil companies go on looting their black gold. Revolutionary workers from Japan, delegates from the shipyards and teachers from Argentina, among others.

On this day it was verified that in dozens of capitals around the world and in hundreds of workers' organizations, people have expressed their support for the struggle of the brothers of Peru. But this support and solidarity must be concrete. The coordination of hundreds of organizations to travel to Peru and set up a Latin American and International Fighting Committee to stop the coup and the massacre is a life and death task . Today the murderous government of Dina Boluarte is deepening the militarization of the whole Peru.

The call that we make here is for all the organizations of struggle to coordinate their solidarity and send delegates to Peru to conquer this great Continental Congress of workers and peasants, which will allow us to convene from there a day of international struggle and a Continental General Strike to let it be one more step in the fight to expel imperialism from Latin America and stop the brutal repression of its governments and regimes.
This is the proposal that we, the undersigned, send to all those who have taken as their own the struggle for the victory of the rebellious Peruvian people.

There is no time to lose. After the enormous uprisings in Chile and Colombia, the prisons of those countries are full of political prisoners and the wounded and relatives of the massacred still cry out for justice. This Gringo offensive is also trying to be imposed,..,.. with coups and militarization against the workers and peasants, as we saw yesterday in Bolivia, in the attempts in Brazil and today in Peru. Before it is too late and our continent is soaked in blood like in the '70s, we must stop the imperialist offensive in Latin America!

Down with the murderous Dina, the coup Congress and the entire Fujimorista regime!
For a Free and Sovereign Constituent Assembly!
Trial and punishment to all murderers! Releasing all the political prisoners for fighting and dropping all the fighters' charges for good!
Dissolution of the police and all the repressive forces of the state! For the right to set up self-defense committees in the face of brutal and criminal repression.
Disowning all the mining contracts signed by the vassal governments to the transnationals that plunder all our wealth!
For the nationalization without compensation of all the mining companies, under the control of the workers and the Fighting Committees of all the cities, provinces and regions of the whole Peru!
Down with the FTA! Out with the US imperialist military bases in Peru and the entire continent!
Get out gringos from the whole Latin America!
