The battle for Lima continues
The workers, the rebellious youth and the exploited of the capital join the combat of their class brothers from the southern and northern regions who do not abandon the streets of Lima
Today a huge mass march took place in Lima. The worker, peasant and student delegates from the southern and northern regions of the country who continue to arrive in the capital, gathered early in the afternoon at Plaza 2 de Mayo. Together with them, university students, workers, young workers and sectors of the impoverished middle classes began to arrive to participate in this new combat action to overthrow the Boluarte government and the entire Fujimorista regime, lackeys of the Gringos.
The mobilization began on Avenida Nicolás de Pierola, in the direction of Plaza San Martín. While the columns from the different regions were advancing, the exploited masses of Lima gathered around them to cheer and offer their support to each delegation that was present.
Thousands and thousands took to the streets. Those below want to make their strength felt to see who really owns the nation: wether the workers and peasants or the Fujimorista regime, its generals and the Gringos.
Once again, the CGTP bureaucracy exhibited its true character by calling today for a "great national mobilization" in which they marched with a scrawny column of a few dozen of their apparatchnicks, counting 11 telephone workers, 33 construction bureaucrats and 6 health workers... Along with them, how could it be otherwise, there were the Stalinist militants of the Communist Party and Patria Roja (Maoists).
Shame on them! the workers and the people of Lima going out to fight together with their class brothers and sisters from the revolted regions of Peru... and the union bureaucracy making testimonial "peaceful marches". Traitors! They don't represent us!
What's more, the police had not yet fired the first tear gas bomb when those pale delegations of the bureaucracy and the Stalinist parties had already withdrawn from Plaza San Martín.
Despite and against all of them, the hardened workers, youth and peasants sought to break the police lines and face the fierce militarization of the Fujimori regime to march towards the Congress Hall and the Government House.
The repression was brutal both in Plaza San Martín and around the Parliament. Tear gas bombs fell everywhere and pellet shots wounded several comrades and many others fell into custody.
For hours, the police dogs of prey repressed at various points in downtown Lima, but at every step, the workers, the rebellious youth and the masses of exploited regrouped to continue fighting.
The fact is those below no longer accept the murderous government of Dina Boluarte. The problem imperialism and the bourgeoisie have is that if she falls down by the hands of the phenomenal insurgency of the revolutionary masses, all the institutions of domination of the exploiters fall altogether. Boluarte herself openly raised this eventuality today at a press conference... and she's right.
In Peru, a huge crisis is developing from those at the top who can no longer govern as before. Those below no longer want them to. An independent action of the exploited appears in the center of the national scene. It is the political struggle of the masses.
In this revolutionary situation that is developing in Peru, the bourgeoisie perceives the danger that threatens it. That is why the OAS and the US imperialists sent Boluarte to propose a "negotiation" and a "truce" today. Dina promises the departmental governments that there will be business left for the internal market of the regional bourgeoisies. But the capitalist gangs don't believe each other... All the sectors of the Peruvian bourgeoisie know that imperialism will take everything.
Who supports Dina Boluarte? The US imperialists and the traitors of the Communist Party, Patria Roja and the entire bureaucracy of the CGTP.
Against them, we must now convene in Lima an open Congress of delegates from all regions, from all peasant and student organizations and from all unions and factory, company and establishment committees that break with the union bureaucracy clas-collaborationist policy with the murderous government.
That Congress of delegates or Unitary National Command of Struggle can coordinate by region, province, district and at the national level, a worker and peasant guard that on the front line crushes and disarms the murderous police. This National Command should see and organize that all the exploited march to the barracks to look for to their sons, husbands and brothers so that they go over with their weapons to the side of the rebellious people.
We must organize the organization of workers and peasants power so that the national insurgency may succeed! There is no time to lose!
During today's mobilization, a group of students courageously displayed a huge banner in the midst of the repression, denouncing the real commanders of the counterrevolutionary coup in Peru: "The USA put Dina in order to have lithium and cocaine!" The students are right!
To expel the US imperialists, all the workers' and peasants' organizations in Latin America must send delegations to Lima to strengthen the uprising and revolt of the indomitable Peruvian masses.
The Commander of the Fourth Fleet of the US navy, the UN, the OAS... all of them have come to Peru to support Boluarte.
Lula and CELAC continue to recognize Dina and her murderous government.
It is time for worker and peasant delegations from the entire continent to arrive in Lima!
For a continental anti-imperialist Assembly!
Out with the IMF!
Out with the US imperialist military bases!
The Biden government expels hundreds of thousands of migrants from the US... Let's expel the bankers and transnationals that loot our nations!
We must take into the streets throughout all of Latin America with strikes, pickets, etc.!
For the masses to live, imperialism must die!
