Confronting the murderous government of Boluarte and the coup of the Fujimori regime and the genocidal officers, all commanded by the US...
In spite of and against the bureaucracy of the CGTP that seeks to divide the rising masses from the regions from the workers and exploited of the capital...
The revolutionary struggle of deep Peru arrives in Lima to the war-cry "Out with Boluarte!"
Thousands of workers, peasants and youth from the regions, sent as delegates by their struggle committees, arrived in Lima to fight and make the masses of the capital to rise and overthrow the Boluarte government. Alongside them, the working class youth, the student movement, the exploited masses and the impoverished middle classes of Lima are taking to the streets.
While in the south, the masses in state of insurgency, continue in an indefinite strike, with roadblocks, attacks on police stations and institutions of the bourgeois state, attempts to take over airports, etc., and more regions of the country go out to fight, today the battle has been concentrated in the capital, with huge revolutionary days of struggle where the clash with the killer police dogs of prey prevailed in an attempt to reach the Parliament and the Government Palace to oust the Fujimori regime of the FTA.
The response of imperialism and the bourgeoisie was to intensify the militarization of the south of the country and Lima, decreeing a state of emergency and deploying 12,000 police and army troops in the capital alone. In the face of the huge mass actions, after having just assassinated 53 exploited people, they tried to provoke a lesson with the brutal eviction of the National University of San Marcos, which had been taken over by its students to house the comrades from the regions. More than 200 comrades were arrested after being savagely repressed. The enormous solidarity was not long in coming and thousands marched to demand their freedom in Lima, at the same time as the struggle in the regions intensified, sending more delegations to strengthen the struggle in the capital. Because of all this, all the comrades had to be released the next day.
In their heroic struggle, the indomitable workers and exploited of deep Peru have set up their self-organization bodies, the Struggle Committees or Defense Fronts, in the districts, provinces and at the departmental level. In 7 regions, these committees have coordinated and formed the Macro-Regional Coordinating Committee of the South that called for an indefinite strike since January 4th.
From these organisms that the masses set up to fight they even put forward a true revolutionary course of action to follow in "this struggle that is already turning into a civil war", as the Defense Fronts of Arequipa (from the districts of Lluta, Huancarqui, Camana and Majes) say in their "Open Letter to the Secretary General of the CGTP" of January 10th. It is no coincidence that this letter is addressed to the top leadership of the CGTP, since, as they state in their document, "more than a month after the fascist coup and seven days after the strike decreed by the Southern Macro-regional Coordinating Committee, the CGTP has neither said nor done anything".
180° from the policy of the union bureaucracy, the Defense Fronts of Arequipa demand "the immediate call for an assembly of delegates of the CGTP with the participation of the representatives of the Regional Defense Fronts, in which to approve the beginning of the GENERAL UNDEFINED STRIKE NOW!" and "the formation of the UNITARY NATIONAL COMMAND OF STRUGGLE" to "make them all go away". And they finish their letter saying: "History is putting the government of the workers and the people on the order of the day (...) Without a doubt: GOVERNMENT OF THE CGTP AND OF THE DEFENSE FRONTS. Is the CGTP ready to take on this struggle? If not, the only place left for them is the dustbin of history". Long live the revolutionary proclamation of the Defense Fronts of Arequipa! They show the way forward!
With the arrival of thousands of delegates at Lima, the unity of the workers, peasants and students of the South with their class brothers and sisters of the capital is beginning to be forged in the streets...
For Boluarte to fall and not even the rubbles of the Fujimorist regime of the US remains:
Generalize, extend and coordinate the Struggle Committees of the workers and peasants of the south to Lima and the whole Peru in order to centralize the struggle on a national level, on the Coast, in the Highlands and in the Jungle!
FOR A UNITED NATIONAL COMMAND OF STRUGGLE
of workers, peasants, militant youth and all the exploited who are fighting.
Let us conquer one single organism at national level in Lima, with delegates from all the workers' organizations, trade unions, student federations, workers' youth committees and all the sectors in struggle to organize the General Insurrectionary Strike until they are all gone.
As the Defense Fronts of Arequipa denounce, the only thing that explains why a Unitary National Command of Struggle has not yet emerged is the sinister role of the leadership of the CGTP, in the hands of the Communist Party and Patria Roja, which prevents all the masses in struggle from uniting.
On Thursday 19th, the CGTP leadership was forced to call a national strike (after more than 40 days of struggle!), which they betrayed. Shamefully, the CGTP bureaucrats marched with symbolic delegations from some trade unions in a peaceful demonstration towards the rich neighborhoods, far away from the fighting around the Parliament, led by the delegations from deep Peru together with the exploited of the capital, who clashed for hours against a huge police cordon.
The leaders of the CGTP have put all their strength to try to divide the workers of Lima from the workers' and peasants' vanguard of the south and thus surrender their heroic struggle to save the hated Fujimori regime.
Down with the traitors of the CGTP bureaucracy!
From the rank and file of the trade unions, the militant workers' organizations and from each factory, mine, port and construction site:
For assemblies, struggle committees and picket lines to defy the CGTP bureaucracy, go out to combat and vote delegates to unify in common committees with the delegates from the regions!
Open the road for the uprising of the rank and file workers against the treacherous bureaucrats!
Due to the Stalinist bureaucracy, the facilities, infrastructure and funds of the trade unions are not available to house and provide the best conditions for the combat of the workers' and peasants' delegates who arrived in Lima, traveling thousands of kilometers, supported by collections from the peoples of the regions. We have to guarantee this from the organizations opposed to the CGTP bureaucracy and the rank and file workers' committees!
The workers and peasants of the regions who have left everything in the struggle and arrived in Lima so that the capital would rise up have all the authority to call from their Struggle Committees and Defense Fronts to discharge the CGTP bureaucracy, which does not represent anybody, and from the whole workers' movement and sectors in struggle to send their delegates to urgently form this Unitary National Command of Struggle.
The rebellious youth, fighting as in Chile and Colombia, are beginning to set up their front line in the barricade battle in the capital. For committees of the working class youth of the Conos of Lima to vote their delegates to unify with the delegates of the regions and conquer this Unitary National Command of Struggle! For the student federations, like that of the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos, to send their delegates to make it come true!
Under the orders of the 4th Fleet of the US navy, which commands the ongoing coup, Boluarte has militarized the country to continue massacring the people in revolt. We must strengthen the picket lines and the first lines that are emerging, with delegates from all the organizations in struggle!
For workers' and peasants' militias to defeat the police in the streets, smash the Fujimori officers caste and disarm all the repressive forces of the bourgeois state!
The army reservists are beginning to take to the streets in the regions and in Lima. We must call on them to join the fight, send their delegates, and go to the barracks to look for the rank and file soldiers, the children of workers and peasants so that they break with the officers of the Armed Forces and take up arms with the people in struggle.
For Committees of rank and file soldiers to send their delegates to unite with the rising masses!
Dissolve the Fujimori officers caste and the murderous police! Down with the state of emergency and the curfew! Free those imprisoned for fighting! Workers' and popular courts to judge and punish the murderers of the people!
Let us set up the power of those from below, the only legitimate power that represents the majority of the whole Peru!
As the masses of the south cry out loud: Open the road for the national insurgency!
Open the road for the General Insurrectionary Strike until they are all gone!
With enormous class instinct the masses have understood that if they do not defeat the government of Boluarte, a puppet of the US and the officers of the Armed Forces, they will not be able to get bread, decent work, land and all their legitimate demands. Expropriate the imperialist transnationals and capitalists in mining, gas, oil, banks, land, etc. without compensation and place them under workers' control! Out with the IMF! Down with the FTA and all treaties that tie the oppressed nation to imperialism! Out with the US military bases in Peru and the whole Latin America!
For a workers' and peasants' revolutionary provisional government, based on the self-determination and armed bodies of the masses in struggle!
Only with this government, imposed on the ruins of the Fujimori regime, we will be able to guarantee the just demands of the workers, the poor peasants, and the people, expelling imperialism and expropriating all the expropriators. A provisional revolutionary government of workers and peasants will be the only one that will even be able to guarantee a truly free and sovereign Revolutionary Constituent Assembly because it will have disarmed the repressive forces of the state, crushed the Fujimori generals and expelled the US military bases.
The pirates of US imperialism are coming for everything, to take all the wealth of Latin America. Thus, today they are leading the coup in Peru, massacring the workers and peasants who are the only ones who are confronting them, while the cowards of the native bourgeoisie, only "brave" enough to attack the masses, kneel before their imperialist masters.
For a continental struggle of the workers and peasants from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego to expel the US! Let the American working class rise up in support of the revolutionary struggle of Peru and all the oppressed peoples of the continent!
Gringos out of Peru and the entire Latin America! Death to Imperialism!
