“We are living this day with much pain and much nostalgia as I remember what I experienced that day, that January 9, two years ago. With much pain, the wound hurts when I remember that in this city, in this Oval exit to Cuzco, an attempt was made on my life that January 9.

I was wounded at the airport. I was hit by a bullet in the right shoulder, which pierced my right lung, grazed my chest, and lodged in my left armpit… I am currently abandoned by the state. I cannot work. I cannot make any kind of effort. I am not at all 100% recovered even though it has been 2 years since the cruel massacre.

As an Association, we demand justice and that this does not happen again. Enough with impunity. This cannot be left like this. Those responsible must be punished because the person who shot me is a police officer and this is fully proven by the bullet from the firearm that was removed from me.”
