Two years after the massacre of workers and peasants…

Interview to Yovana Mendoza, head of the Asociación de Familiares de los Asesinados y Heridos del 15 de diciembre de 2022 de la masacre de Ayacucho, who were present to show solidarity with their comrades from Juliaca

“We hace came from Ayacucho to be present and to show solidarity with our siblings from Juliaca because on January 9th there was a massacre here in the city of Juliaca, just like in Ayacucho. We also suffered a massacre on December 15th, 2022. And that is why we stand in solidarity and are here present.
As part of the National Organization we are also present here, in solidarity with our siblings from the city of Juliaca.

What we are asking for is justice; that all those who shot and those who gave the orders be imprisoned. We are asking for guarantees of non-repetition so that this never happens again.
The only way to ensure that this does not happen again is to put all these murderers, who killed our relatives, in prison; those murderers, who massacred the survivors; those who shot and those who gave the orders.
Only that will give guarantee us that no government that comes after will massacre our people again.

Jhon Mendoza is my brother, because for me, my brother is still with me. He is my brother and I am here for him. For him I take to the streets to demand justice and for him I will be here until the end, until I see those who shot my brother, and also those who gave the orders, arrested.”
