In the streets of Damascus, and with an uprising in northern Syria, the fight is for bread, to recover the houses, for the freedom of the prisoners and against the partition imposed from the Geneva conference
Out with al-Assad! Out with all the invader troops!
For a revolutionary worker and peasant government
In Damascus and Idlib, one single intifada with the Palestinian resistance and the revolutionary uprising in Iran!
Putin, one of the main supporters of al-Assad in Syria, has embarked in a war of occupation on Ukraine. This led him to dedicate more resources to this war, and for it, he has withdrawn troops and bases he had in Syria, then weakening his support of al-Assad.
Seeing this situation, the exploited marched in Idlib demanding the fronts to be opened. They know this is the moment to defeat al-Assad to recover their homes and end with so much hunger and misery. But above all, there has been demonstrations in downtown Damascus, under the very noses of fascism, demanding the freedom and alive appearance of the 500,000 detained by al-Assad in 11 years of revolution.
In northern Syria, the ones controlling manu military are HTS and Turkey with the National Army (former FSA). They are the strongholds of keeping the partition of Syria there (see box). Turkey started to dig trenches to mark his portion, and his agents set free an Assadist which had been captured by the resistance. This detonated the hatred of the poor people in northern Syria.
So, only in the last week, there have been demonstrations in different cities of that area. In Idlib, the refugees marched to recover their homes. In Tadef there was a demonstration against Turkey and its attempt of establishing partition there. In Al Bab, Azaz and Afrin there were successive days of struggle clashing against the authorities and the forces of the National Army for releasing the Assadist criminal. An uprising per city process has started in northern Syria, which tends to merge with Damascus.
On the other hand, the Palestinian masses resist the offensive launched by Zionismo, strengthened after the defeats of revolutions in the Middle East. This response of the Palestinian people is outside the control of the bourgeois leaderships of Al Fatah and Hamas, which keep on upholding their pacts with Zionism.
The workers and the Iranian people also take to the streets against the regime of the Ayatollah that increased bread and sky-rocketed the cost of living. From the huge strikes and protests they took place in Iran, now the revolutionary uprising has generalized to the entire country, to the war cry “Death to Kahamenei!”, “Death to Raisi!” They strike the heart of those murderers that massacred and occupy Syria. The Iranian revolutionary uprising confronts those who crushed the Iraqi workers when they took to the streets over the last years. It is an uprising brother of Syria and the Palestinian people, as the Ayatollah support Hezbollah as guardians of the Zionist borders.
In Maghreb and Middle East there’s resistance and the Iranian revolutionary uprising rises up, despite suffering hard defeats in Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq, the Saudi invasion to Bahrain and Yemen, the genocide and partition of Syria, the betrayal of the CP to the Sudanese revolution. It is necessary to draw lessons of what happened in the revolutionary wave that started in 2011 to lead the future revolutionary uprisings to victory.
In the streets of Damascus and in northern Syria the fight is to conquer bread, to recover houses, for the freedom of the prisoners, to expel the regime and all the forces invading Syria. Out with al-Assad! Out with all the invader troops! Down with the Geneva conference!
We need to break with the Sunnite bourgeoisie that sold out all rebel cities, one by one, and under the command of Turkey they sat in Geneva with al-Assad to guarantee the partition. Let’s set up committees of workers, poor peasants, partisans to seek to return to the fight, as the coordination committees in 2011! Recover the weaponry and set up workers and peasants militias! We call the Kurdish workers to break with the PKK and the Kurdish bourgeoisie that subordinated them to al-Assad and the US, and to be part of this fight to take the revolution to victory.
Only the working class of the whole Syria can unify the nation once again, expropriating the oil companies, the banks and factories where the bourgeoisie fills its pockets at the expense of the over-exploitation and blood of the Syrian people, to recover bread, houses, defeating imperialism and all its agents. For a provisional revolutionary workers and peasants government!
This is one single struggle in the entire region. The fronts of this are opened in Iran, Palestine and Damascus. Uprisings in northern Syria against Turkey and HTS are underway. From Tehran to Idlib, from Damascus to Jerusalem, a single intifada!

Syria: a partitioned and occupied nation, drowned in blood
Only the working class can unify the nation
and liberate it from imperialism and all its lackeys!
With the Syrian revolution drowned in blood, and also sold out and betrayed, each bourgeois fraction has remained controlling a part of Syria. So, we see a partitioned Syria, with different areas between which there are customs that collect taxes to every product that crosses the borders. In Northern Syria there’s the area occupied by Turkey with its lackeys of the National Army. In a pact with Turkey, HTS kept Idlib administration. In those areas the Turkish currency is used and not the Syrian one. USA, with its YPG gurkhas, kept the oil area which it plunders directly. The rest of the areas are under the fascist boot of al-Assad, supported by Putin, Hezbollah and Iran.
This is what imperialism brings when imposed: barbarism. It even makes the national states to retreat to former ways, partitioning them in several pieces, which means that the decline of this system is so large that in order to maintain itself, it destroys what capitalism had developed.
None of this could’ve been done without the betrayal of the leaderships of the working class internationally. All the leaderships of the reformist left in the world kept the world working class separated from the Syrian revolution, slandering the masses of being “terrorists”, “backward”, “barbaric” and thus justifying the entire counterrevolutionary action and the massacre.
Enough of the left treating the Syrian workers as “barbaric” and “terrorists”! The working class and the poor peasants were the ones heading the revolution in 2011 with their coordination committees.
Now, in the resistance, in the demonstrations in northern Syria, the fight is not only against the Basharite regime but also against the Sunni bourgeoisie and Turkey. The fight is for bread, to recover their houses, to end the partition, to free all the political prisoners.
This can be only conquered by the working class, the only class which has no business with imperialism and its junior partners that partitioned Syria. The task of expelling the invader troops, defeating al-Assad and re-unifying Syria and taking it out of barbarism is in the hands of the working class leading the poor peasants and all the exploited, as it has in its power to expropriate the oil wells, the banks and the property of all the businessmen that get rich at the expense of the people’s blood.
Only the working class can take the revolution to victory, breaking with all the fractions of the bourgeoisie, setting up again the coordination committees as in 2011, and in a single struggle with the Iranian working class that has stood up. The workers have the same demands in Syria and Iran, but also in Lebanon, Iraq and in the entire region. One single class, one single struggle in the whole Middle East!
