Internationalist conference on the 12th anniversary of the Syrian Revolution
Speech by Amir Hakim Al Amery, revolutionary fighter for the Syrian and Palestinian cause in Europe
"There is one issue that unites us all, which is the world revolution, starting from Syria, Peru and all the struggles of the oprresed "
I wanted to give a revolutionary greeting to the newspaper Truth of the Oppressed. It is an honor to be here with you and all the organizations presents here.
Greetings to our comrade Steif, who is in our hearts.
We are in the 12th year of the Syrian revolution, a very important revolution, which then opened the revolution in Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine. Long live the Palestinian revolution, which will triumph against the US and Israel!
We have to mention the Zionist occupation of the Golan Heights, and also the destruction of Deir ez Zor and Raqqa by the YPG and the US. In our actions and protests, we are also against this US and Israeli imperialism.
Where I am, there are groups of Syrians who never speak against America and the EU, who also supported the regime of Bashar Al Assad. The US and Turkey, since the beginning of the revolution, have supported the regime of Bashar Al Assad. It is said that Turkey supported some revolutionary factions, but the bourgeoisie of these factions, the leaders, were corrupted and today Turkey is publicly with Bashar Al Assad.
In 2013 the regime of Bashar Al Assad shot down a Turkish jet that was flying in Syria, and at that time the whole NATO should have responded and attacked Syria and clearly that did not happen, because they support the regime of Bashar Al Assad. Israel, since 1967, supports the regime, since it occupied the Golan Heights.
Greetings to all the revolutionaries in Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, and all the countries of Latin America. And greetings to all our comrades in the Middle East. I was attacked by those Assadists and I never stopped. Neither did you, who are true revolutionaries, true in word, who have not only supported the revolution but have been always aware of everything that is going on. It is an honor to be with you. I have no words to describe the emotion I feel to be part of your group.
We have our problems, as we all do, but there is one issue that unites us all, which is the world revolution, starting from Syria, Peru, and all the struggles of the oppressed. Long live the revolution!
Greetings to all of you, and greetings also to comrade Trotsky.
