Internationalist conference on the 12th anniversary of the Syrian Revolution
Greetings and homage from the Liga Socialista de los Trabajadores Internacionalistas (Socialist League of Internationalist Workers) of Bolivia:
"...the Partido Obrero Revolucionario (POR) (Revolutionary Workers’ Party) of Bolivia, which claims to be Trotskyist and to fight for socialism, not only ended up at the feet of fascism after the coup in 2019 in Bolivia, but in Syria, it also openly supported the murderer Al Assad, who has not tired massacred the exploited tirelessly since 2011."
A fraternal and revolutionary greeting from the Liga Socialista de los Trabajadores Internacionalista of Bolivia, to the comrades of Syria and to all the comrades present on the day of the 12th anniversary of the Syrian revolution. We want to pay homage to the Syrian resistance that was drowned in blood and covered in betrayal. Today we will continue to fight because there will be neither forgetting nor forgiveness!
In Bolivia, we have been fighting to break the silence and the encirclement of the Syrian revolution and to stop the massacre perpetrated by the fascist Al Assad, Putin, Erdogan and the US, since there are several Stalinist currents and renegades of Trotskyism who have slandered and surrounded the Syrian revolution. Thus, organizations like the Partido Obrero Revolucionario (POR) (Revolutionary Workers Party) of Bolivia, which claims to be Trotskyist and to fight for socialism, not only ended up at the feet of fascism after the coup d'état in 2019 in Bolivia, but in Syria, it also openly supported the murderer Al Assad who has massacred the exploited tirelessly since 2011. Thus, they had the policy of voting in the national congresses of the Federación Sindical de Trabajadores Mineros de Bolivia (FSTMB) (Trade Union Federation of Mine Workers of Bolivia) the support, first to Khadafy and then to Al Assad, disguising these fascists and murderers of the exploited in Syria and Libya like "anti-imperialists". That was the policy of this current, as part of the international encirclement of the Syrian revolution that allowed the massacre of more than a million martyrs and 500 thousand Syrian political prisoners.
We, from the LSTI of Bolivia, as part of the FLTI, waged fierce fight and struggle against this policy, to break this siege. As part of this battle, a workers' pole of the workers' vanguard in Bolivia took up the banners of the Syrian revolution and raised them in their struggles.
Thus, the families of the wounded and murdered of the massacre in Senkata during the coup d'état in 2019 raised the flags of Syria on 8M 2020. Also, the grassroots workers of the factories of La Paz took the Syrian flags in their hands in the mobilizations on May Day because they saw that the fallen in Syria were the martyrs of Chicago of the world working class. Also, in the mining district of Huanuni a pole of mining workers sent messages of solidarity to the Syrian resistance...
Likewise, in the Public University of El Alto, where the children of workers, miners, and peasants study, on every anniversary of the Syrian revolution, they rally and hold talks denouncing the genocides and their supporters.
As we will see at the end of this video in 2016 in the enlarged meeting of the Federation of Factory Workers of La Paz with 70 delegates from different factories, they held a minute of silence for all the fallen in Syria who back then were besieged and bombed by the murderer Al Assad and Putin on behalf of U.S. imperialism.
