International Event in Support of the 2nd Syrian Revolution

ON THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF STRUGGLE OF THE PERSECUTED WORKER…THE SYRIAN REVOLUTION CONTINUES…

The revolutionary process initiated in 2011 by the people of Syria has had a great boost, because TODAY the masses are taking over Damascus and the rest of the country, because Bashar al- Assad has fallen and the regime of the protectorate of Russia, Turkey, the US and the cowardly Arab bourgeoisies is in crisis. TODAY, in Damascus, great celebrations are being held in honor of the fall of the criminal regime of al-Assad. Our revolutionary brothers who fell in the struggle for the Revolution in Syria, Abu al-Baara, Mustafa Abu Juma, leaders of the Leon Sedov Internationalist Brigade, and other fighters, are still present and will continue to fight at our side. The struggle is not over, this revolution must continue and deserves to succeed.

Now, Stalinists and ex-Trotskyists have their hands stained with blood and betrayal, as they had when the Central American revolutions. In Nicaragua, under the direction of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN - Frente Sandinista de Liberacion Nacional, in Spanish); when the Simon Bolivar Internationalist Brigade (Brigada Simon Bolivar, in Spanish) was betrayed by the United Secretariat of the Fourth International, headed at that time (1979) by the US SWP. They did the same with the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN - Frente Farabundo Martí de Liberacion Nacional, in Spanish) in El Salvador and in Cuba itself, where Cuban Castro-Stalinism had given the first instruction on the world process, which was: “Nicaragua cannot be another Cuba, nor El Salvador another Nicaragua,” burying any revolutionary struggle that was under its influence. A betrayal which has caused that TODAY, the Cuban people suffer from hunger and repression, while the Castro-Stalinist bureaucracy enriched itself with the arrival of the gringo embassy and imperialist companies.
Today other leftists and also pseudo-anarchists have joined forces with sections of the pro-Russian bourgeoisie in Syria. The last chapters of this story have not been written yet. They will be written by the masses in the struggle of the exploited of Syria and Palestine, and of the world working class. It is for them that we must fight against all political deviation in this direction, and never give up for the true Socialist Revolution.

TODAY in Syria, power can be taken by the masses who are already armed in the streets, freeing political prisoners, giving us on this day an example of how the path should be to their liberation from prisons, such as the hell of Saydnaya, and recovering their jobs and homes.
The masses are armed in the streets, as for the exploited, FREEDOM is to conquer bread and national independence. Only a provisional government of the councils of rank and file soldiers, partisans, workers and poor peasants, standing alongside the Syrian prisoners who are being freed, will be able to bring Syria out of prostration and expel all the invading troops, relying on the struggle of all the masses of the Middle East and the heroic resistance of the Palestinian masses. We say No to a transitional government of HTS and the Assadist politicians! For a provisional revolutionary government of workers, poor peasants and armed militiamen! Up with those below!
