International Event on the 13th anniversary of the Syrian revolution |
FROM THE SYRIAN RESISTANCE,
at the heart of the huge mobilizations in Idlib against HTS and al-Assad and for Palestine

"It is not enough to arm and fight a revolution in a single country, but this must be a unified and forceful fight at the international level"
Greetings to the meeting on the 13th anniversary of the Syrian revolution. I thank you for the videos that have been shown. It is a great support to those of us fighting inside Syria.
It would seem that in the last few years the fighting of the Syrian revolution has taken a nosedive. We were able to get rid of a tyrant like al-Assad, and now we have another one, Al Jolani, from HTS. That is why it is imperative to take to the streets in masse. This is what has allowed us to survive until today, to eat and drink, and at the same time to find shelter, since the great majority of the Syrian people have lost their homes.
The last mobilizations, including those of the 13th anniversary, have been massive and this is very important, since they are taking place in the middle of the month of Ramadan, which is usually a time of reflection and fasting, the masses won the streets to recover the revolution.
It is worth noting that, after the massiveness of these mobilizations, 11,000 political prisoners were taken out from the jails of the Jolani government, a government that took office under the banner of the revolution but that keeps the people oppressed in the "zones liberated from Bashar". This shows that this is the way forward. The massiveness and forcefulness of mass actions have to grow.
60% of the political prisoners have been more than 10 years in the jails of Al Jolani, the new governments that took charge in the liberated zones, to apply a yoke equal or worse than the Basharist government.
Regarding the Palestinian cause, a cause that we carry in our hearts and minds, this is part of our revolution. What happens to them is what happens to us here. We cannot separate one from the other. And not only must we understand this, but also that what they want to do with the Palestinian people is to teach the whole planet a lesson to show that anyone who follows the path of the revolution will be massacred, tortured and drowned in blood.
The inflation and hunger suffered by the working class at an international level shows us that it is not enough to arm and fight a revolution in a single country, but that this must be a unified and forceful fight at the international level.
A message to all revolutionaries. We must understand that at this moment we are suffering the worst repression that can be exerted under a regime. Very similar to what we suffered in Bashar's time. You can no longer hold meetings face to face; we would be imprisoned immediately under torture. We live under a totally repressive regime. All this they had to do to get us out of the axis of our revolution.
A big greeting to all attendees, to the revolutionaries from Latin America, from Argentina, from Bolivia, from Colombia, and of course also from Palestine and to my siblings here in Syria. |
