International Event on the 13th anniversary of the Syrian revolution |
From Japan:
Message from the revolutionary Marxists of the JRCL-RMF
"We are determined firmly to fight together with you, comrades of the FLTI, under the slogans, 'Remember the crimes of al-Assad and Putin who drowned Syrian people in seas of blood!' 'No to Putin's war of aggression against Ukraine!' and 'Condemn Netanyahu's genocide of Palestinians in Gaza!'"
Comrades who have come together to commemorate the '13th anniversary of the Syrian revolution'!
We have read the statement you issued in view of the '13th anniversary of the Syrian revolution' and felt a fresh surge of anger rising in us against the al-Assad regime and the Putin-led Russian government. We are sending you our warmest greetings of solidarity from Japan.
13 years have passed since the masses of Syria rose up in indignation against al-Assad's tyrannical rule and imposition of poverty on them. They fought against military attacks by al-Assad and by Putin, who intervened in Syria to support this mass murderer. Here we pay our tribute to the militants who fought in the forefront of the masses and fell.
We are boiling with rage at the cruelty and brutality of those oppressors who perpetrated innumerable barbarities, including the attacks and massacres in Yarmouk refugee camp. We shall never ever forget, never ever forgive their crimes that caused hundreds of thousands of deaths and 15 million refugees!
Russian ruler Vladimir Putin is continuing his abominable cruelties in Ukraine, too. While dancing for joy at the US withdrawal of its support for Ukraine, he is forcing residents of the occupied areas of Ukraine to vote in the 'Russian presidential election' by threatening them with guns. He is making successive heavy bombing raids on Odessa, a point of strategic importance in southern Ukraine. This man, who has launched military aggression against Ukraine - propelled by ambition to liquidate the state of Ukraine, together with the Ukrainian nation, thereby incorporating it into the Russian Federation, and to recover the territory of the former Stalinist USSR - must indeed be called a 'descendant of Stalin'.
Stalinists and degenerate Trotskyists have been praising al-Assad and Putin as 'anti-imperialism fighters', thus tolerating their brutalities. And moreover, they hurled insults at those militants, who fought in the van of the masses against bloodstained rulers' oppression and fell in the battle, by branding them as 'minions of imperialism'. We'll never forgive them! As to Russia's aggression and massacres in Ukraine, too, they defend Putin by saying 'NATO is worse'. We denounce these degenerate elements! We are determined firmly to fight together with you, comrades of the FLTI, under the slogans, 'Remember the crimes of al-Assad and Putin who drowned Syrian people in seas of blood!' 'No to Putin's war of aggression against Ukraine!' and 'Condemn Netanyahu's genocide of Palestinians in Gaza!'
The rulers of Russia, 'descendants of Stalin', as well as those of the neo-Stalinist state of China, are plunging oppressed people of the world into intolerable agonies. And here is US imperialism, supporting Benjamin Netanyahu, a perpetrator of genocidal massacres of the Palestinians.
Let us bring down all those state rulers who have plunged working people into a living hell! Let us carve out a future of working people! Fight against imperialism, against Stalinism! Let us advance arm in arm with each other!
