International Event on the 13th anniversary of the Syrian revolution

“We as an Association want to send a fraternal greeting on this 13th anniversary of that historic feat to the brothers in Syria and also in Palestine”

“United in one voice, Justice for our brothers and sisters in the Middle East! Justice for our brothers and sisters in Syria! Justice for our brothers and sisters from Senkata-Bolivia!”

Good afternoon comrades, I am speaking to you from Peru. Firstly, we as an Association want to send you a fraternal greeting on this 13th anniversary of that historic feat to the brothers and sisters in Syria and also in Palestine.

We here as an Association, having suffered the same repression, the same abuse of power on the part of this government in power, we stand in solidarity with the siblings from all over the world, because both the siblings from Bolivia, from Chile, from Argentina have lived and have felt this repression of their respective governments in power.

We also have that feeling because here in the city of Juliaca in Puno-Peru, we have felt that mistreatment, that repression so strong that it has cost us the lives of 19 people who have been murdered in a single day, and hundreds of injured, as well as myself. I am Pedro Samillan Sanga, brother of the doctor Marco Antonio Samillan Sanga who has been murdered while doing the work for which he had been trained, for which he had studied, helping injured people. In the middle of his work they have taken his life.

We, as an Association that defends Human Rights, demonstrate against the greatest genocide in humanity. Innocent lives have been extinguished, thousands of children have been maimed and killed. We ask the world for a cry of indignation, a cry for help, claiming out for justice for so many crimes without the voice of justice.

From Juliaca we want to say to our Palestinian siblings: Free Palestine, free forever! Down with the terrorism of the Zionists! Justice and freedom for Palestinian prisoners! And our support for political prisoners around the world.

We send our solidarity because in all countries there have been repressions and massacres perpetrated by this imperialism, by these governments and regimes that have handed over themselves to the United States that wants to dominate our region.

When I talk about justice, I do not do so only to find the person or persons responsible for these crimes against humanity here in Peru, both previous and current ones. I speak of strong and healthy justice for our children, heirs of our territories. Our voice of justice is present, since we have not had an equitable Peru. For decades we were relegated from our rights as human beings. The oligarchies have always trampled on our dignity and with it our territories. Appropriating our resources they take lives without caring about the suffering of so many parents. For the future of our children we have to raise our voices, because we are complicit in these crimes if we do not raise our voices. Enough!

We are witnesses of so many crimes, so many abuses against so many innocent people, Palestinian children and families. Our mouths are gagged by our indifference. Tell these criminals that the day will come when they will have to be held accountable for these savageries. Down with Zionism! Down with the atrocity against the innocent!

Fight as if they were your children, even with the pain, with the blood of our brothers and sisters, our loved ones. We tell them that we accompany them in their pain, united in one voice: Justice for our siblings in the Middle East! Justice for our siblings in Syria! Justice for our siblings from Senkata-Bolivia! Justice for our siblings from Argentina! Justice for our siblings from Chile!

There are so many places where, with so much “savagery” you could say, with so much indifference, indigenous peoples have been hit and we feel very sad and distressed with so much pain that we are suffering today. Let's hope that justice comes for us.

Brothers and sisters from Syria, from Palestine, from Bolivia, from all the places where they have perpetrated this abuse of power: we, the “Asociación de mártires y víctimas de la masacre del 9 de enero”, from Juliaca want to pay tribute to them also for having offered his life, for a search for justice, for a search for equal rights for all.

Sometimes many people sell their souls for money, and for receiving that money they commit acts in which they have to take lives to get what they want: power. We cannot allow to continue this indifference for humanity.

I thank you very much for giving me this space. Receive a cordial greeting, a fraternal hug, siblings from Syria on this 13th anniversary of this historic feat. (We want to)Tell you that we continue in the fight. Just like you, we have been fighting for more than 30 years for victims that are still crying out for justice, such as in the La Cantuta, the case Pativilca, the case Barrios Altos, in which our rulers want to give them (perpetrators) impunity.

So we want to tell you that we are with you brothers and sisters. (We) Give you that recognition from the Association.
