Silvia, leader of the Committee for Syria and Palestine from Brazil, who is at the head of solidarity with the masses of the Middle East
“We are traveling a long road, paved with a lot of blood, pain, tears, displacements, oppression, the most horrible brutalities. But even with all this, they were not able to end the resilience, courage and dignity of the Syrian people”
Greetings to all the comrades present at this meeting.
Special greeting to the Syrian comrades and revolutionaries.
I am grateful for the opportunity to speak on such an important occasion, with comrades committed to the international working class revolution, who despite slander, defamation and fascist attacks, remain steadfast, fighting tirelessly for the oppressed in the world.
It is always an honor to participate in the celebrations of the Syrian revolution. And here we are in the thirteenth year of this revolution.
We have travelled a long road, paved with a lot of blood, pain, tears, displacements, oppression, the most horrible brutalities. But even with all this, they were not able to put an end to the resilience, courage and dignity of the Syrian people, who rebelled against all types of oppression that imperialism demanded of its agents.
The Syrian people remain firm in their intention to overthrow the regime, which has been massacring and threatening for decades, directly or indirectly, through its agents and mercenaries.
So much so that in recent days we have witnessed a new uprising in the northern region, against the oppression of the provisional government of HTS, which is in no way different from the fascist methods of Al Assad, oppressing, imprisoning and torturing the people, imposing subhuman conditions in the displaced persons camps, where they lack the minimum for a decent life.
We stand with the Syrian people and all those who rise up against their bloodthirsty capitalist oppressors.
Revolution until victory!
