Salute from Hugo, founding member of the Committee for Syria and CROJA (Revolutionary Worker and Youth Committees for Self-Organization)

Hello, from San Pablo we want to pay our homage to Abu Al Baraa and to all the fallen in the Syrian revolution.

From here we were promoters together with dozens of nuclei in the continent of the setting up of committees in defense of the Syrian revolution and the revolution in the entire Maghreb and Middle East.

Within the CSP-Conlutas, a trade union center that groups more than 3 million workers, we were promoters of the struggle in defense of Syria. Together we promoted this struggle, we raised funds for the resistance including together with Syrian and Palestinian refugees fleeing to Brazil, we organized dozens of marches for Syria and Palestine, and also confronted the attacks we suffered in Aleppo, and in assemblies of the Metro workers Putin, Assad and imperialism were repudiated

In 2006 we promoted from this trade union center a request for an entry visa so that the comrade could come to Brazil and tour Latin America. It was a tireless struggle to request this right of the comrade so that he could leave from Turkey to here. However, it was demonstrated that the so-called "progressive" governments of Dilma and Kirchner were already organized from their embassies in Turkey, together with the government of al-Assad and Erdogan to prevent the visa to our comrade.

A few months later the comrade fell in combat in Aleppo.

Today we pay homage to our comrade on the 8th anniversary of his assassination at the hands of Putin and al-Assad, and to all those fallen in combat.

His struggle and blood shed will not be in vain. His memory will be revered in the combats in Ukraine and Russia, in the streets of the USA and in the trenches of the Resistance in Palestine, throughout the Middle East and the world.

Comrade Abu al Baraa, until victory. There will be no forgetting nor forgiving.
