Dear comrades,
in this international event on Marxism and the war we need to pay tribute to comrade Abu Al Baraa and to every comrade fallen in the attempt to defend the Syrian revolution, which threatened the existence of the US imperialism land aircraft carrier also known as “State of Israel.” Because of this, the Syrian revolution has suffered an attack coordinated by the imperialism and its agents, the socialist-imperialist left of the WSF, plus al-Assad, Putin an his greatest admirers Castro and Chavez.

For over a year the Palestinian proletariat –now the Lebanese too- has been subject to a genocidal attack perpetrated by the fascist Zionist occupier.

The Palestinian unions have called to expel Zionist central union Histadrut from European and world union organizations from which it is a member, but no one heard.

In Italy, only the rank and file unions have clearly declared a strike against genocide; confederate union members of the European and world union organizations from which the Histadrut is a member have timidly manifested for “peace”, an undefined kind of peace.

 in the ex-soviet republics, slayer of the Syrian revolution together with al-Assad, is seen by many members o the European left as an anti-imperialist leader. For over two years the Ukrainian proletariat -poorly armed and ripped off their natural resources by the European and US imperialism- has been dying in the trenches, heroically resisting the fascist aggression of the wannabe-czar in the Kremlin, while the most vanguard elements of the Russian proletariat burn the recruitment centers and in Belarus the movement of military vehicles on trains is being sabotaged. Meanwhile, good old Stalinist bureaucrats on both sides of the Don, who had got rich, liquidating the USSR, leave on vacation together, both Ukrainian and Russian to their fancy mansions on the Italian coast.

In spite of the beliefs of certain ex Trotskyites who are forming traitor internationals hand in hand with Stalinism, in this first quarter of the century masses all over the world have kept on fighting, rising up, trying to “take over the Winter Palace”.

On every occasion, three conditions have been missing: the party, the party and the party.

Re connecting the red thread of theoretical programmatic organizational continuity of revolutionary Marxism is a task for revolutionary Marxists.

To reconnect this red thread means to affirm that the Ukrainian question will be solved with a soviet and independent Ukraine as the first link in the restoration of the revolutionary proletariat dictatorship in the whole ex USSR and therefore with the fight for the settlement of the Socialist United States of Europe over the debris of Maastricht imperialist Europe.

To reconnect this red thread also means to affirm that the heroic Palestinian resistance is a direct continuity of the chain of revolutions along the north of Africa and the Middle East that initiated in 2011 and had as a common objective the freedom of Jerusalem from the imperialist colonial occupation.

And if today the Zionist beast can carry out the genocide of the Palestinian people with impunity, it is only because the Syrian revolution, the most advanced point in the chain of revolutions of 2011, was drowned in blood by the minor agents of imperialism in the region and guarantors of Israel's existence: Putin, Assad, the Ayatollahs; and sabotaged from within by Turkey and its allies of HTS and the “generals-without-a-battle” of the FSA, in addition to the Kurdish PKK.
To reconnect this red thread means that in the face of imperialism's race towards the Third World War we must retake and make concrete and have as the guiding light of our daily actions the slogan of the US youth who fight against the genocide of the Palestinian people, financed and armed by the two-faced one-party of US imperialism, that is:
“ONE SOLUTION, REVOLUTION!”

Today’s event represents an important step forward in the work of the FLTI to reconnect the red thread of the theoretical-programmatic-organizational continuity of revolutionary Marxism, which Stalinism in the 20th century and the renegades of Trotskyism after 1989 tried to break.
