“...A comrade’s martyrdom does not intimidate us, nor does it make us back down or give up on our goal of liberating the people from their oppressors…”
Greetings to all comrades present on this important day, in homage to our unforgettable comrade Abu Al Baraa, who fell in combat on Syrian soil, defending the working class oppressed by the gangster Bashar al-Assad under the protection of his international partners, many of whom posed as defenders of the people while rejoicing in the blood that bathed the soil.
Nine long years after the martyrdom of Abu al-Baraa, the people who rose up against the exploitation and brutality of the bloody Assad dynasty regime continue to fight for freedom and sustenance, for oppression has not ended, exploitation and scourge continue to afflict the people; only their executioners have changed.
But the resilient Syrian people do not back down. Revolution runs latent in their veins until the people triumph.
For 13 years they have bravely resisted the most powerful armies in the world that have massacred them with bombs. This includes al-Assad regime that perpetrated all kinds of brutalities against men, women and children.
Abu al-Baraa. Your legacy, your journey, your relentless struggle, and your martyrdom fill us with pride, because you were like one of us, believing that only struggle will overcome oppression and exploitation. The struggle that must continue. The path to saving humanity from the atrocities of exploiters and colonizers is a relentless fight. We know that in this arduous struggle, the reward is often martyrdom. But the martyrdom of a comrade does not make us retreat, cower, or renounce our goal of liberating the people from their oppressors, who are greedy for power and luxury at the cost of the blood of the oppressed. And that is why we gather here in your memory, to pay you homage. To continue the struggle for freedom, dignity, and justice for the oppressed, and for punishment for their oppressors. So that we do not forget those who gave their lives in combat, among them you.
Al Baraa for ever!
From Brazil,
A hug to all comrades present,
Comrade Silvia |
