Zelensky's invasion of Kursk: a military adventure under NATO's tutelage to harass Moscow…
Disputes over gas and oil in the Ukraine war
A very illustrative example of Putin's role as a gendarme and guardian of imperialist business is seen in the issue of gas and oil. The main gas pipeline that continues to transport Russian gas to Europe today is the Brotherhood pipeline, which runs right through the Ukrainian nation and has not stopped working nor has a single splinter fallen on it during the war. In the midst of the invasion war on Ukraine and despite the alleged ruptures with Moscow, 22% of European requirements are covered by Russian gas.
Ukraine's incursion into Kursk (applauded by supporters of Zelensky, this handmaid of imperialism’s) was planned to the millimeter. In this province there is Sudzha, a key connection point for this gas pipeline, the key to the passage of gas, a business that represents 11 billion dollars a year for Russia and one billion for Ukraine. Zelensky, "sitting" on this gas tap with his elite troops armed by Great Britain and the USA, announces that this passage will be closed in 2025 when the contract expires. This lackey of imperialism is already negotiating with the transnational companies what purpose they will give to that construction.
We insist, the imperialist policy towards Russia is to siege it, bleed it dry and sink it economically —through inflation and crisis— and to wear Putin down, although not to the point where he could fall into the hands of the masses who hate him (as has been amply proven after the adventure in Kursk where no one came out to defend him).
It is becoming clear that in the race to recolonize Russia with its enormous wealth, this fabulous gas business is what imperialism is pursuing and which Zelensky offers as small change in exchange for weapons, membership in NATO and the EU. |
