US Elections
Wall Street re-elects Trump
He is coming to carry Biden's job all the way by doubling down on the attack on the working class and the plunder of the oppressed peoples
On Election Day in the US, 11/5, a huge pro-Palestinian movement of youth, Black workers and radicalized workers and students called Within Our Lifetime (WOL) took to the streets denouncing and making clear that it is Biden who commands the genocide in Palestine and arms the State of Israel to the teeth. They expelled from their events, mobilizations and assemblies the so-called "progressive left" of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sanders (who are within the Democratic Party) and denounced them as accomplices of Biden and Netanyahu's genocide in Gaza.
This movement won the streets on Noviembre 5 with its rallying cry of: “NO VOTES FOR GENOCIDE!” And reafirmed: “Both Harris and Trump are genocidal Zionists. We demand an immediate end to all military, political, financial, and diplomatic ties to the Zionist entity. Our struggle under a Biden-Harris administration is the same under a Trump administration: to organize for an end to the genocide in Gaza and fight for a free Palestine from the river to the sea”.
This is what this affirms in its public statements. They have shown and and go on showing the road of how to confront the government of the imperialist parties of Wall Street, which today says bye to Biden and prepares Trump, with whip in hand, to deepen the attack on the American and world working class.
The truth must be told: Biden, as president of the U.S., does not rule alone in his country, but does so commanding the politics, the economy and the world counterrevolution of the US imperialist bandits in dispute with other imperialist powers. He is the head of the CIA, of the NATO assassins, of the IMF and of all the military bases with which the US dominates the planet.
On the contrary, the reformist left shrieks all over the world that "IN THE USA THERE IS A VOTE TO THE RIGHT"... And what about Biden and the Democrats? Are they the "left"? Really? This is a fallacy.
Reformism passes off as "progressive" the Democratic Party, those murderous executioners of the oppressed peoples of the world, and consideras only the butcher Trump as "ultra-right". A gross deception and a lie. Trump comes to deepen the counterrevolutionary offensive of Biden and the Democratic Party and to advance the business of his gang of bankers and big Wall Street transnationals.
It is necessary to speak out. It was Biden who has supported coups and massacres in Latin America and Africa in these last four years of workers and popular uprisings.
It was Biden and the Democratic Party that armed Zionism to the teeth and led it in its massacre and genocide of the Palestinian people. 100,000 Palestinians have been killed by Biden's bombs and bullets in Gaza.
What a weird "progressive" party Biden and the Democrats are! Cynics!
This Left laments that the workers did not vote overwhelmingly for the Democratic Party, but instead voted overwhelmingly for another of their tormentors, Trump. But why would they vote for the Democratic Party?
We cannot forget that the Democratic Party, in the midst of the crisis and crash of 2008, with Obama at its head, launched the worst attack on the working class by throwing the entire Wall Street bankruptcy on their backs. Obama was the one who ripped away the workers' social security and retirement benefits; the one who imposed 43 million unemployed people living on 3 dollar vouchers to buy food; while he gave the Wall Street parasites 2 trillion dollars to save their bankrupt financial capital.
That's why Trump won the election in 2016, thus achieving his first presidency, fooling the working class with "going back to the old post-war American dream." But all Trump gave the workers were sticks, clubbing, fascist gangs of white supremacists in the streets and a police specializing in martyring and murdering black workers and youth.
It was the masses who settled accounts with this imperialist scoundrel. But it was the Democratic Party, with deceit and "siren songs", which took the revolting exploited out of the streets to launch a new counterrevolutionary offensive on the planet and redouble its attack within the same US.
Thus, in these last four years, the Biden and Democratic Party administration imposed a brutal cost of living, recession coupled with inflation and unaffordable rents on workers, dealing a severe blow to their wages.
During the Biden administration, immigrants were brutally targeted and imprisoned and Even deported on a scale beyond that of the first Trump administration. The column of thousands of immigrants trying to enter the US, months ago, was contained with the forces of repression and fascist gangs in all the states of the American South. Now, the butcher Trump is coming to prepare a bloodbath against immigrants without papers, which will be without any doubt an attack and a threat to all the workers and oppressed peoples of the world.
That is to say, the imperialist butchers of the Democratic Party were in charge of making the working class pay for the Wall Street crisis in recent years. That’s because since 2008, a spiral of crashes, stock market explosions and bank failures, has been developing inside the USA imperialist beast and time and again its consequences have been thrown upon its proletariat and the whole world.
Now, with the Democrats again discredited and hated by the masses, Trump is coming to complete Biden's work in the U.S. and on the entire planet. Trump is the new president appointed by Wall Street and its big investment funds like BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street, i.e. the financial super-oligarchy. He is just a new senior citizen in better health than Biden to deal with the return of U.S. imperialism to regain control of world politics and economy that it has been losing in recent years.
Trump counts in his favor with the fact that the American working class has its ranks divided and torn, after having been betrayed a thousand times and submitted to the imperialist bourgeois parties of the U.S. imperialist establishment.
The fact is the bureaucracy of the unions and the entire American left, from Stalinists and Castroites to renegade currents of Trotskyism, have openly supported, as they have been doing for years, the pro-imperialist "left wing" of the Democratic Party and even dissolved into it. A farcical left of the self-styled "Democratic Socialists of America", allied to the millionaire Sanders of the Democratic Party, who claimed to "speak in the name of the working class", ended up giving their full support for Biden to take office in 2020, thus dissolving and disorganizing the left wing of the American working class and youth.
With this open policy of class collaboration, the most active sectors of the U.S. proletariat were subjected to the Democratic Party, taken out of fighting in the streets in 2020, when they had surrounded the White House and sent Trump to hide in his bunker 14 floors underground. At that time the Black movement was fighting the murder of one of their own, George Floyd, and the youth were rising up and clashing with the white supremacists to the war cry of "disband the police!" and "no justice, no peace!"...
Reformism is now rending its garments because Trump won, but then, following the led of the "left" impostors of the Democratic Party like Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, they took the fighting workers and youth out of the streets and into the ballot boxes so that nothing changed and everything continued to get worse.
With the class-collaborationist politics of passing off the worst executioners of the people as "progressives," the working class will never be able to defeat Trump. Because i'm order to fight all the Wall Street gangs; to defeat fascism that is under his command massacring today in the Middle East and filling the planet with military bases... it is necessary to fight imperialism.
As the Transitional Program of the Trotskyists denounces, the perfidious policy of class collaboration with the bourgeoisies which the traitors of the proletariat call "progressive" or "democratic" (as social democracy and Stalinism did yesterday under the name of "Popular Front"), leads the proletariat to the cruelest defeats.
Our program states: "A merciless exposure of the theory and practice of the “People’s Front” is therefore the first condition for a revolutionary struggle against fascism". Fascism is a weapon in the hands of big capital and comes from the same sewer of the rotten capitalist system and from the same boards of directors of the companies and banks that supported Biden and today have elected Trump.
Trump's victory in the elections would not have been possible without the betrayal of the leadership of the unions and of the left workers currents that put the working class at the feet of the Democratic Party.
"The right won! The right won!" is the shriek of reformism. As we already said, these wretches say that only Trump is the "right"... and what is then the Democratic Party if it is not the other fist of Wall Street that was in government commanding the transnationals and imperialist bankers who, settled in the U.S. military bases on the planet and their servant governments and regimes, plunder the oppressed peoples and starve their own working class?
Against the servants of the Caesarist regime of the Wall Street slaveholders and their parties, the rebellious youth of the U.S., who for a year have been revolting against the genocide in Palestine, won the streets on the very day of the elections to the cry of: "NEITHER BIDEN NOR TRUMP! THEY ARE ALL GENOCIDAL!"
THOSE WHO SAY BYE TO BIDEN AND WELCOME TRUMP WITH PROTESTS IN THE STREETS ARE THE ALLIES OF THE WORKERS OF THE WORLD!
The allies of the U.S. working class are neither Biden nor Trump, but the workers of the colonial and semicolonial world that imperialism plunders.
Their allies are the immigrant workers whom Trump will openly attack to chastise the entire U.S. working class and their brothers and sisters throughout Central and South America.
Their allies are the workers of Europe in their struggle to defeat the imperialist powers.
Their allies are the enslaved Chinese workers, in whose mirror all layers of the U.S. working class should look.....
Why does the world reformist left present its ally Biden as "progressive"? No more and no less because it has been decades since they stopped fighting for the socialist revolution and they only propose "a communist future", for what century it is unknown. Meanwhile, they subject the American and world working class to the hell of their executioners.
This is the role of the labor aristocracies and bureaucracies, which miserably live off the crumbs left from the plunder of the semicolonial world.
The dregs of Stalinism and the renegades to the Fourth International look here and there all over the world looking for "progressive" and "benevolent" bourgeoisie to support them. The tragedy is that the working class is forced to relegate its program, its demands and needs for the sake of alliances with the "democratic" or "progressive" gangs of the bourgeoisie and imperialism, when these are who work for disorganizing and diverting the revolutionary offensives of the masses with "siren songs", so that later the saber of the generals or the fascist terror can impose strategic defeats on the proletariat.
In the U.S. and internationally the struggle is to conquer an independent proletarian strategy. In the US American working class there are the greatest reserves of the world proletariat to put an end to this system of wage slavery that threatens to lead the entire civilization to barbarism.
Huge class conflagrations, also in the central countries and in the U.S. in particular, will define the course of the class struggle in the next period. The alternative: either victory of the socialist revolution or war, is each time more and more on the order of the day, as we see today in Palestine with the genocide at the hands of Zionism and in the Ukrainian nation occupied by the gendarme Putin. It is in the hands of the proletariat to prevent a new catastrophe.
The last chapter of this history has not been written yet, but will be completed in the class struggles internationally and especially within the U.S. imperialist beast. A socialist U.S. will emerge from the defeat of the fundamental counterrevolutionary forces of the world capitalist-imperialist order. Without any doubt, a socialist U.S. will be the only favorable way out to the exploited of that country and the whole world... If not, fascism, war and counterrevolution will follow.
