Resolutions of the Conference of the Workers International League (WIL-FLTI)
Workers International League on its conference day,
resolutions as follow:
1. WIL-FLTI takes as ours the FLTI documents as regards the Ukrainian and Greek questions. We see in Ukraine and Greece the central focuses in the mass offensives, the most advanced focuses. They state to open the revolution in the whole Europe, in particular in the central imperialist powers. At the same time, the Ukranian process poses the struggle for the restoration of the dictatorship of the proletariat by revolutionary ways in the former workers states. And the return of the URSS of October 1917.
On the other side, the reactionary focuses like we see in France and the reactionary demonstration today, where the imperialist bourgeoisie of England, Germany, and the own France have gathered and have won social base on the part of the rich petty bourgeoisie and labor aristocracy and bureaucracy to be able to go towards new military offensives in the world and they pose before USA that Europe as well as his zones of influence are not touched. Thus, the dispute for the colonization of Russia (gas and oil) and China gets deeper. This is due to the world economic crisis that stroke in 2008 they made masses pay for it. Europe is stuck in the crisis. Chapter 1 of the Book Syria under Fire, that we take as ours, responds to the world economic crisis.
The fight against stalinism and the renegades of trotskysm is the vital importance since yesterday stalinism for example in Greece defended the parliament by hitting workers with sticks, and strangled such revolution for it not to get generalized in the entire Europe; they supported the Al Assad massacre, they were part of the massacre of the Marikana workers, among others; today, the renegades of trotskysm openly applying a class collaboration policy become the direct agents by administering the bourgeois business like Syriza is ready to do in Greece together with all the social-imperialist parties like SWO and NPA. In that way, now they play the role of direct agents, executioners of the working class as we stated in the first chapter of the book Syria under fire. An example of that, in Greece the bourgeoisie calls the popular front to save it from the mass combat, that is why it calls to make the elections before where Syriza seems the one to win –when there is a revolutionary situation in Greece where the political parties, the government, even the officer caste is falling in the middle of the economical crisis which the burden is put on the masses.
In this way, this is an attempt to impose a classic Popular Front like in Spain and France in the 30s when the fight pose today is to unify the East and West of Europe in a continental general strike fighting for out with Maastrich, NATO, IMF. The enemy is at home-for the working class in the imperialist powers-. It is necessary to break with the parties of the labour aristocracy and bureaucracy. The fight for the workers and soldiers councils in Ukraine, Greece and that those get spread all through Europe.
2-
On the Cuban question, we take as ours the FLTI Statement on Cuba; stalinism gives a stab from behind to the Latin American and world working class by selling out Cuba to imperialism. Today the Castro brothers and the commanders of the Stalinist army-party, as Trojan Horses, have delivered Cuba to imperialism, first to the European and Canadian ones, and now to US. The role of the left of the World Social Forum , the “La Habana’s Friends Club” that want to hide the total surrender of the Cuban socialist revolution to imperialism. Thus, the policy of the CCP of class collaboration is the same policy applied by the SACP within the COSATU that sustains the Zuma-Mandela government, continuer of the Apartheid; the same of ZTUC led by Nkiwane of Zimbabwe that subordinates the working class to the Mugabe, the major agent of imperialism and his pillage, and supports this regime openly.
Based on the following the present delegates of WIL voted:
1. We commit ourselves to FLTI programs, take the struggle as ours each one of the
demands and claims of the workers in struggle because we understand we are being oppressed by the same bosses across the entire African and world at large and their governments, because they want the workers to believe that if they fight for their rights, they will have the same fate as ours. We take seriously the struggle for the acquittal and freedom of all of us. All the demands to be taken as an immediate demand of the struggle of the whole Flti groups, workers movement and its organizations.
2. We propose to open the road to our freedom and conquer all together our demands against the increase in the cost of living, the theft on wages, unemployment, labour slavery.
3. We call to fight for the release and end of prosecution of the fighters and all our demands, preparing a struggle plan and general strike.
4. We approve everyday to be the Global Political Prisoners Day, the support committees for the release of the Basque prisoners, of George Abdallah, the miner unions who claim for justice for the 34 workers killed by Anglo American in South
Africa, the committees of struggle for the alive appearance of the Mexican students, the Palestinian prisoners, their families, support committees and all fighting for justice in Michael Brown's son murder in USA, oil workers of Las Hares and all
workers organizations in Japan. All of us together to build up an International fighting Network for the liberation of all the political prisoners.
5. To confront determinedly the imperialism that plunder our nations and with their governments kill, repress, and stave workers in the entire tormented Africa.
6. To set up a true workers' alternative independent from the bosses. Everyone that wants to fight like in Marikana, and wants to set up fighting organizations with direct democracy of the exploited, and conquer a salary according to the family basket with decent job for all must come to fight with us to set up this platform of struggle of the workers against the slaver bosses, imperialism and its lackey government that represents them.
7. To set up a true National Congress of employed, unemployed workers, militant youth and poor peasants to fight together with the South African workers; since against the democracy for the rich we need the democracy of those below to win.
WIL FIGHTS FOR:
This is the true power we must set up. Enough with the government of Mugabe and the boss politicians, agent of imperialism and the transnational companies!
This is the road that leads us to unify the working class to prepare and organize what we really need: a general strike to hit as a single fist against the exploiters, their governments and political parties.
It is the time to openly confronts the politics of the World Social Forum, which with its social imperialist parties such as French NPA and English SWP isolated and silenced workers at Marikana's revolutionary and anti-imperialist struggle.
Marikana shocked the region and allowed an effervescence in the proletariat of Zimbabwe, where the exploited already broke openly with those agents-lackeys of the same Anglo American: the Government of Zanuf-PF and MDC - founded and
supported by the ISOZ which put its Gwisai leader as a representative in the anti-worker. While the ISOZ was with MDC, the
SWP (its "mother current" in England), before the heroic struggle of the miners in Marikana and today Gwisai claim to be the leader of the masses.
Today the workers know that the greatest enemy of all the proletariat of the region is the Anglo American, its lackey Governments and its agents inside the labor movement supporting them.
Today we as WIL revolutionary "we have to fight as in Marikana!".
WIL conferences states
Open the road for the revolutionaries! Open the road for the Fourth International! For a congress of the Internationalist Workers Organizations and the revolutionary movement to break the siege imposed by the mass combats traitors in order to coordinate the internationalist actions of the working class!
::: On positions and contributions of the statements which were on question (based on our readings):
We as WIL we acknowledge that today our programmatic method involves re- establishing continuity among the Trotskyists
around the world, the thread which has been broken by Stalinism and imperialism.
We agree that a revolutionary International centre should be astablished now to lead the struggle. Trotskyists in Africa cannot conquer its programme without a revolutionary international centre.
The capitalist system is being more aggressive. Ultimately, with the concentration of capital, the deepening of its parasitism, the dislocation of imperialist powers from the world division of labour and from its spheres of influence are pre-announcing that there won't be peace or civilization ahead but war and barbarism... if the proletarian revolution doesn't defeat the bankrupted world capitalist system.
On the black question:
We take as ours the resolutions of the founding Congress of the FLTI in 2009 on the National and Colonial Question in regards to Africa. Thus, the question of the Black movement is an urgent issue posed on the agenda to be discussed by the FLTI in its 2nd Congress.
In Africa due to the treason of the CP, the revolutions for the “national liberation” were strangled and in United States the oppression against the black working class, due to the treason of the Communist Party and the Castroism, did not stop but it has gone deeper. Today we see how the Republicrats regime has put the burden of the crisis to the masses, especially to the Latin and Black workers.
In this way the democratic demand of the Black nation has not been resolved but it has been submitted to imperialism more than ever. At the same time within the imperialist beast, the Black working class is standing up against the oppression and exploitation.
These resolutions are based on the program of the 3rd and 4th International. For them the black proletarian was a decisive factor to unify the ranks of the international working class and unify the fight of the colonies and semi colonies with the fight of the coloured workers within United States and the European powers. We affirm as it is shown by the working class in Missouri and the rest of United States that the Black working class question has gone deeper in United States. This poses the struggle for update the fight for the self determination of the afro American in United sates as part of the fight for the national independence of the nations in the Black Africa. This can only be conquered with the unity of the international working class, defeating the infamous labour aristocracy and bureaucracy and with the success of the International Socialist Revolution.
As part of the WIL task, we propose to make a call to unify the fight of the working class of the Black Africa with the colored working class that is standing up in United States.
An International Workers Organizer will be issuing including this call, the resolutions of our conference with the statement of Cuba and the main articles of the fight in Zimbabwe and Marikana to set up a National Fighting Committee and unifying the fight with Marikana.
This IWO will be very important to spread it in Zimbabwe as well as in Marikana.
In this way, FLTI is fighting to settle in the most advanced focus of the international working class’ struggle. From Marikana to Harare, from Donbass to Aleppo, from Athens to the streets of the militant US working class, fighting in the Occupied Palestine and with the revolutionary workers of Japan. We fight to recover Homs and Tahrir Square, defeating the genocide imperialisms which slaughter in the entire Black Africa. Today tt is our commitment to gather the workers and youth to fight for the socialist revolution.
On Syria question:
The Syrian revolution was an expression of revolutionary struggles of the world proletariat. It threatened to bury
definitively the imperialist domination in the region.
In Greece, the working class broke the narrow framework of impotent economic struggles, where the bureaucracy was trying to take it at every step, and spearheaded a wave of mass political struggle of a superior quality to which the European
proletariat had already played.
In South Africa the mine workers of Marikana defeat the government ot Zuma by demanding 12-500rands wage.
We as WIL agree on conception for the setting up of sections in Africa, the Middle east, in Latin America, in Australasia, in the imperialist centres, as part of a single revolutionary International.
For the re-foundation of the Fourth International!
