STATEMENT FROM ACTIVISTS IN GHOUTA CALLING FOR SOLIDARITY ACTIVISTS TO JOIN THE SECOND DAY OF RAGE FOR SYRIA, JANUARY 7TH, 2018
JOIN US IN THE SECOND DAY OF RAGE FOR SYRIA, FOR THE SYRIAN REVOLUTION!
This is the revolution of people demanding the most basic rights, namely freedom.
Our demand is for accountability from the criminal Bashar al-Assad and his regime, for committing crimes against the Syrian people, using various types of internationally prohibited weapons, killing large numbers of unarmed civilians, excluding neither children nor women, for destroying cities and imprisoning many, besieging many areas, notably eastern Ghouta, which has been besieged since 2013 until now.
With his shells of hatred, and preventing the people from reaching safety, he has committed many massacres against people, the most prominent of these massacres through the use of chemical weapons, which resulted in the deaths of nearly 1800 civilians, killed while sleeping in their homes, mostly women and children, who had no fault but that of calling for freedom.
He tried to divert the attention of the international community from his crimes by creating ISIS. He has used, and is still using, meetings and negotiations to gain more time in killing more of those who have come out against him.
His allies have committed many massacres against the Syrian people, trying to restore Assad’s legitimacy by spilling Syrian blood.
They are now trying to fool the world and Syrians with the Russian Sochi platform, to quell the rebels' will and to restore Assad's legitimacy, believing they have won.

We will express our rage for Syria and reject all the meetings that are bargaining the blood of the innocent Syrians.
