Down with the conference of Astana and its “safe zones” plan!
The resistance doesn’t give up!
Defeat Assad and all the genocidal forces!
The Syrian revolution is going through a critical moment today. We have lost the strongholds of the revolution, the freed cities. The latest neighbourhoods of Damascus that went on an uprising were contained, besieged, slaughtered and finally the buses came and started the evacuation to Idlib and Jarabulus. In Deraa the indiscriminate bombings keep on going, in order to advance on this plan. The ones resisting until the end in Alepo, Homs, the province of Hama, the outskirts of Damascus, Daraya, were disarmed, stripped away from their belongings and taken to tents in Idlib governorate.
In the Syrian east, in Raqa and Deir ez Zor governorate, ISIS is installed. It is just a guardian for the oil imperialist companies. In that oil producing area, they impose a hard strict military control, taking good care that the oil wells and refineries are not expropriated by the masses and that oil keeps on flowing onto the world market.
ISIS also provides a big excuse for USA, Assad, Putin to massively bomb the masses in the name of a supposed “fight against terrorism”. They are the terrorists! USA is not bombing ISIS but civilians in Raqa, Deir ez Zor and even in the Iraqi city Mosul. There are thousands and thousands of killed by US warplanes while ISIS has almost not suffer from any loss and is still there.
US troops are already installed in the north of Syria. Kurdish YPG are directly under their command. Rojava has remained under direct control of USA.
Also, the northern border crossing of the Alepo governorate is controlled by Turkish troops that are invading and occupying the Syrian territory from that border up to Al Bab.
The FSA commanders, the so-called “leaders of the revolution” (which nobody voted) went to Astana conference and signed a disarming agreement, to stop fighting against Bashar and accepting the military control of the foreign forces that supported this murderous dog so he doesn’t fall. This is an agreement that wants to impose the rendition of the revolution.
The resistance doesn’t give up! Even in tents, even working 12 hours a day, even in miserable conditions, we refuse to accept the resolutions of Astana. In Idlib, we have been staging demonstrations each Friday for the re-opening of the fronts against Bashar, for the downfall of the regime, against the Astana conference. We have transformed Idlib in one of the last trenches of the revolution and the grouping point of the resistance.
In western Alepo governorate, Ghouta and Daraa, we don’t surrender either. We don’t want to accept Syria’s partition in which every bourgeois gang controls a part of the territory making profitable business under USA command and at our expenses. This is not the reason for so many martyrs giving their lives!
The Astana agreements are a betrayal and open sellout of the revolution, under the name of “safe zones”, which would be the rebel areas that the FSA would control. These areas are in Ghouta, Idlib, parts of Dearaa governorate and a small zone of Homs governorate. The rest of the country, apart from the already mentioned areas in northern and eastern Syria, would be under control of Assad, supported by Putin and the Iranian Ayatollahs.
Astana conference wants to impose the partition of Syria and the split of the business deals. They have already negotiated and agreed… maybe they discuss among themselves which ones takes more (or less). Those are discussions between Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran, Turkey, the ISIS attacks… They have nothing to do with the revolution but with a discussion of how much and who will fill their pockets.
They are businessmen, not revolutionaries. They are the generals of the Sunnite bourgeoisie in Syria. They were Trojan horses inside our ranks that never wanted the downfall of the regime, just to fill their pockets. That’s why they went to an international conference in Astana and split the business deals. The ones that didn’t go, like HTS (former Al Nusra) accepted the same plan without going… remaining as “the bad guys”, accused of being “terrorists”, but they haven’t reopened any front and just are administrating the “safe zone” they control in Idlib. They are united by money, business, profits they have done at the expense of our blood. They are all part of the partition of Syria.
We call to disobey the commands of every general of the Sunnite bourgeoisie that is in Astana! They don’t represent the Syrian revolution or the masses that gave their lives for it.
Down with the conference of Astana and its “safe zones” plan!
We have to set up again the coordination committees and organize ourselves to fight for the downfall of the regime. The decisions should be taken by the ones that truly made the revolution and not to be imposed by orders of the military chiefs that nobody voted and are under the orders of the Astana conference.
We call for a National Syrian Assembly to be set up, voting delegates one each ten thousand, of workers, poor peasants and refugee camps, from every rebel city and area where they fight and free against Al Assad.
We have to recover the weapons for the fight against Bashar and not for establishing internal checkpoints, whose aim is to establish Astana’s “safe zones”. The arsenals and weapons of the revolution must be at disposition and service of the coordination committees to continue the struggle against Bashar. One man, one gun! Disarm all the businessmen guised as generals to recover the weapons!
We keep on fighting to defeat Al Assad and all his genocidal allies in Damascus! We fight to recover Alepo!
Expel all the invader troops from Syria! Out with the US butchers that kill our brothers and sisters in Raqa and Deir ez Zor while they don’t even touch ISIS!
Out with all the powers like Turkey, Saudi Arabia or Qatar that throughout the FSA generals have come to disarm the Syrian masses, to co-optate a few militia men to separate them from the Syrian people and corrupt them while they gave away the most militant sector to be killed by Assad and Putin!
We want to recover our houses, have a decent life and eat! For this, to win against Bashar, we need to expropriate all the assets of the bourgeoisie and to put all the available resources to solve the issue of getting bread and to be able to win the war! This way we will get the funds for it. This is the most powerful missile that the masses have but the Sunnite bourgeoisie didn’t let them fire it.
Against ISIS, we call to expropriate all the oil wells and refineries for the Syrian wealth to be for the Syrian exploited.
Al Assad has issued leaflets calling for every besieged rebel city to give up, threatening to continue with the massacres. It is time to make thousands and millions of leaflets and throw them over Damascus and all the cities that this dog controls, calling to expropriate all the banks where the Assad family (as front-men for imperialism) makes money laundry and huge profits. Seeing that we can recover all the wealth of Syria for the Syrian, with no businessmen, millionaire generals and imperialist powers that steal it away, we will surely awake a huge uprising in the whole territory, including the areas controlled by Al Assad. This is the way forward to victory! The last word is still to be said!
A revolutionary Syria of workers and peasants, stronghold of the revolution of Maghreb and Middle East, is still at the order of the day. We haven’t surrendered!
The revolution in the region has not died. This is shown in the fights of Morocco where the masses take to the streets again for the unresolved demands of 2011. These demands are of all the exploited of the region and the planet.
We have to re-unify our forces internationally and break the siege on the revolutions of our region. The international working class keeps fighting. The workers of the world are our allies. Let’s re-take the path of revolution and the fight on the streets against the governments and regimes, because otherwise they will come to impose bigger sufferings, massacres, plunders and wars.
