Message from the Commission of Paty’s Workers – Struggling June 16th (Argentina)
Last Saturday Paty's dismissed comrades were part of a tribute to the martyred Syrian people on the 6th anniversary of their revolution, along with several workers around the world.
We were deeply moved to speak with comrade Ahmed Rahal, who denounces the massacre suffered by the masses from the Syrian resistance. As we talked with him, we heard the bombs dropped by US imperialism and its hired assassins. We wish to extend a special greeting and a big hug to Ahmed, the Syrian resistance and Leon Sedov Brigade and to honour the fallen socialist leaders Abu Al Baraa, Mustafa Abu Jamaa and all the martyrs of Leon Sedov Brigade. We take the heroic combat of the masses as our own; we are one class and we have the same struggle.
Greetings came from Europe: Wasim in the Spanish State and Safi in Greece. They are fellow Syrian refugees who resist the attack of European bourgeoisies and fight for the triumph of the Syrian revolution. Activists for a free Syria like Eduardo Ballan, Suzanne, Saukaina, Sirin and Jamil fight along with them.
We were filled with pride to hear the greetings of our comrades from Russia; from where workers 100 years ago took power on a third of the planet and today they suffer the worst of the semi-fascist regimes. The message of the comrades denounced courageously how assassin Putin bombs all over Syria.
We were thrilled hearing the poetry honoring the Syrian revolution and its martyrs of comrade Lourdes, worker of Bolivian origin and survivor of a textile workshop of sweatshop that was set on fire in 2006 in Argentina.
We heard the courageous denounce of comrade Turpin in the USA, denouncing that the antiwar movement has a pending account with the Syrian masses because it never defended them.
We saw with great emotion how the factory workers of La Paz in Bolivia made a minute of silence for the fighters fallen in Syria, because they take the fight of the martyred masses Syria as their own.
The Commission of Convicted Workers, Families and Friends of Las Heras in Argentina remembered with great emotion the support -when they were condemned in 2013- of the Leon Sedov Brigade and its leaders from the Syrian resistance. Because they have the same enemy, namely the imperialist oil companies, who in Argentina convicted workers for life for fighting and in Syria massacred the masses.
Alberto Santillán, father of young Dario murdered in 2002 by the Argentine state, sent his greetings to the meeting, he is a member of the International Network for the Freedom of Political Prisoners and Persecuted of the World and denounced the murderous states that kill our brothers and sisters and committed his struggle with the Syrian masses.
The Japanese revolutionaries also sent their greetings, denouncing Al Assad, Putin and Trump and called for international solidarity.
There were many who sympathized with the Syrian masses, but many more slandered, silenced and surrounded this great revolution.
We, Paty workers who are part of the international working class, have always been on the side of the Maghreb and Middle East revolutions; we were part of the Committee in Defense of the Militias in Misrata of Libya and we are part of the Committee for Syria. From our factory we made concrete solidarity, assemblies, raised found and we went and we go to all workers meeting to raise that it is necessary to break the siege to Syria. When bosses closed the factory we said that our battlefield is the world so we are still standing in the fight.
We salute all the comrades who are part of this tribute to the fallen of the revolution together with the resistance and who fight in the world for the Syrian revolution to triumph.
ALL THE SLANDER AND BETRAYAL WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN AND WILL NOT BE UNPUNISHED!
ONE CLASS, ONE FIGHT!
