From Idlib, Syria
Intervention of Ahmed Rahhal, journalist of the Syrian revolution and correspondent of the paper “The Truth of the Oppressed”
"The United Nations and the international community have voted that Bashar Al Assad and his criminal regime must endure in Syria and everyone who rises in revolution must die"
Welcome and greetings to all of you.
I want to greet all those who are present today on this 7th anniversary of the glorious Syrian revolution, which rose up against oppression. The murderous regime is taking charge of eliminating the whole people.
I thank all those who move, who raise their voices, who from their place come together and fight for the Syrian revolution doing whatever they can... whether sending aid, mobilizing, raising their voices, writing. I thank you all for the support you have expressed.
Right now East Ghouta is being massacred by Russian planes, by the Bashar regime, by the Shiite militias of Hezbollah, Iran, Afghanistan, from different places sides they went to massacre eastern Ghouta. And they are using all kinds of weapons and testing new weapons. They are using new chemical gases. They are using napalm in Ghouta. 90% of the city was reduced to rubble. It is a genocide.
On this 7th anniversary of the Syrian revolution, eastern Ghouta on the outskirts of Damascus is suffering a genocide. They are not just bombing, they are trying to advance over eastern Ghouta. They surrounded the village of Douma and constantly try to enter Hamouriya without being able to do so.
Last thing they usedsarin gas, killing women and children. It is a massacre. It is a genocide. People are totally desperate and do not know what to do. The government tries to enter everywhere. And it cannot advance. And it uses all kinds of weapons and air attacks including chemical weapons.
This is why I ask for the greatest diffusion on those who claim being in favor of Syria; those who can define themselves and be on our side. You have to reach the whole worldfrom Argentina.
In Ghouta there is no more food. There's no water. There are no more basic elements. There is no more medicine for children. There is nothing left.
There have been 7 glorious years of a great revolution, where the whole world was against us. Even so, the revolution is still alive, not only in the battle fronts, but in each of the hearts of our Syrian brothers.
In these 7 years they have been in charge of massacring the Syrian people. We have 15 million refugees on the borders passing the worst hardships. In northernSyrian they all meet. All those who rose up in this revolution are massacred or taken as refugees and sent to Idlib. Idlib seeks to encircle it and massacre the last remnant of the revolution. The United Nations and the international community have voted that Bashar Al Assad and his criminal regime must endure in Syria and everyone who rose up in revolution must die.
The planes of the Russian occupation are having more and more participation. Land forces occupy territory and Russians open military bases. Russian air and ground forces every day massacre Ghouta. They test their new weapons in Syria. It is a laboratory where they test their weapons and then sell them.
I shared with you an account of what is happening in Ghouta. I just told you quickly the last thing that is happening, but it's nothing compared to what we have spent these 7 years. I ask all the peoples of the world to move for the Syrian revolution, which is the only way to stop this massacre. More than 600,000 people killed. More than half of the Syrian population has escaped from their homes. Bashar carries out the massacre and also a change of population, expelling the true owners of their lands that are the Syrians and bringing in their place Lebanese, Iranian and Afghan Shia. How long is this going to continue?
A few last words... I have high hopes that the revolution will triumph. I have hope in the people and in God. This is a revolution against the oppressors. It is a revolution for dignity. It is the revolution of the oppressed. I have my hopes in victory. The revolution continues in each Syrian. The revolution continues in each one of the revolutionaries. The revolution continues in each of the oppressed.
There has just now been an explosion in Idlib, right now!
Greetings to all.And many, many thanks to all.
