Speech of Abu Muad
“The masses in Idlib took to the streets once again yesterday. They strive to return to the beginning of the revolution. It is very clear that they will not accept a pact with Bashar; and any the general who does not go to the front line will be expelled.”
Seven and a half years have already passed and the Syrian people show all their heroism. In Syria there is not a single person who does not have a scar. There is not a single child who has not lost a family member. There is not a mother who has not lost a child or a nephew. There are millions who have lost all their belongings, their houses... who have been stripped in the worst way. There are people who have seen their wives and daughters being raped in front of their eyes.
That's why there is a lot of anger and euphoria in Idlib. There are liters and liters of blood to avenge. There are many promises to children who did not return. There are many pictures hanging in the homes of parents who are not there today. The people of Idlib is not going to take a single step back. This was seen in yesterday demonstrations. There were thousands of exploited in the streets, marching together, shouting “Down with the regime!”, which had been the main slogan since the beginning of the Maghreb and Middle East revolution, which ran from Tunisia to Bahrain, from Egypt to Libya and the very Syria. Even after all the massacres that the Bashar regime has committed against the Syrian people, the Iranian Ayatollahs who went to reinforce it, the Putin planes that arrived later, Hezbollah with its mercenaries, mercenaries from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the masses keep coming out to the streets and they say "We do not reconcile and we fight against the regime!"
The masses yesterday in Idlib took to the streets once again. They strive to return to the beginning of the revolution. It is very clear that they will not accept a pact with Bashar and that the general who does not go to the front line will be expelled.
Today the Syrian people are united and have entrenched themselves in Idlib. Many of the fighters of the Syrian revolution from all parts of the country were taken to that province after their cities fell to the regime.
Today more than ever, the program for victory is valid for the masses of Idlib. It is the best time to carry it out.
This is the best time to set up the Coordination Committees again, where the workers and the exploited see each other’s’ faces. In the refugee camps, refugees know each other and can set up refugee committees and also supply committees.
All of this can be done taking into account that the resources to win the war are those that the “seven sisters” take away, that is to say, the oil companies that are in Raqqa and Deir ez Zor. And we need to expropriate the banks. The plans to rebuild the houses and homes can be carried forward with all the wealth that can be extracted to the bourgeoisie that made juicy businesses in these last seven years.
What needs to be set up is a Council of the Syrian Revolution, with the coordination committees and with delegates sent from all the refugee camps, one per 10,000.
And the general who does not want to fight, let him be kicked out. Every man has to have a gun.
We have to show that we can live better, that neither the Bashar regime, nor the FSA, nor Turkey are the guarantors of a good life in Syria, but they are just the opposite, they come to follow the orders of US imperialism and to submit the masses to the worst of the hardships. That is why we do not have to stop going to Damascus, because this is the way to win the revolution.
Today the masses also rise in Raq, north of Syria, against the US and the leadership of the YPG, in the same way that they rise up in Basra against the Iraqi US protectorate regime and like their class brothers of Iran do, as they stand above a sea of oil and gas and do not accept to continue living under unprecedented misery conditions. As part of this, the demonstrations took place in Idlib.
We know that today we have to hit with the same fist from Jerusalem to Gaza, from Yemen to Iraq, from Iran to Tierra del Fuego and within the US... One single enemy, one single fight!
