TRIBUTE OF ABU MUAD, CO-AUTHOR OF THE BOOK SYRIA UNDER FIRE
October 24, 2017
Friend, comrade, brother, Abu Al Baraa:
The paradoxes of life; so many years together, so many struggles, so many anecdotes, so many experiences together and only one picture was left of the two of us.
However, your contribution as a combatant, strategist, writer and journalist was enormous. The book we wrote together, the fights you gave for breaking the siege of the Syrian revolution, your incessant struggle for a world revolution and for an international party; your heroism and your contagious courage in the front.
It's been a year since your departure. That bastard Russian sniper, ally of Bashar, friend of Hezbollah and dog of Yankee imperialism. That bastard who knew about your location because the garbage general of the Free Syrian Army betrayed you, because they had already put us on a blacklist after they saw that they could not corrupt us.
That bastard bullet fired by a bastard find it hard, but after two days, your soul said enough and left us in body but your memory never left, your strength multiplied, your words were petrified on the mountain, in every olive tree, they were engraved on each rifle that a worker loads, on each bullet that a slave shoots at his master.
You left us, you left me, but you never went away. On the contrary, you reached every corner.
And even if the global left wants to hide you, today you are more present than ever. Your strength is in every brother who rebels, in every mother who defends her children with nails and teeth, in every worker who rises up against his boss.
Comrade, friend, brother... I miss you too much. You gave your life defending the heroic masses of the massacred Aleppo and our next meeting was more than pending.
It was an honor and it will always be my greatest pride to have shared things with you. You will always be my commander, my director, my coordinator. From the León Sedov Brigade to the newspaper The Truth of the Oppressed, your struggle and your example will always be my north to find the way in this system full of darkness and haze.
Abu Al Baraa: Present, now and always!
Until the last drop we will avenge!
To victory!
From Aleppo to Jerusalem!
From Alaska to Tierra del Fuego!
The same class, the same enemy, one revolution!
