Three years ago Abu al Baraa was killed defending Aleppo in hands of tyrant al-Assad. He was 24, a socialist writer, founder of the paper “The Truth of the Oppressed”, co-writer of the book “2013-2014: Syria Under Fire”, and his posthumous book “Diary of a Syrian Writer”, published a year after his assassination.
From the Socialist Publishing House Rudolph Klement, we met Abu al Baraa, we saw in him what a great socialist revolutionary like Leon Trotksy said about the youth attitude who rebel when a revolution starts: “the generation that enters a revolution will not stop fighting until they lead it to victory, even if that means dying.” |
