From France, Claude Marill, a member of the inter-union Emancipation Unitarian Trend; (from the education sector) sends us a humble tribute inspired, in his own words, by the struggle of Abu Al Baraa.
Claude, was a fighter in the struggle for the independence of Algeria against French imperialism. He lived through the period of May 68 and, as he expresses it in his greeting, he was a member of the ranks of the Revolutionary Communist League (LCR) of the Unified Secretariat, until the 1990s.
Claude is a tireless defender of the oppressed peoples and a courageous fighter, who, within the Fifth French Republic, makes his own the premise that the enemy is at home.
Fervent defender of the Syrian and Middle Eastern Revolution, against the reformist leaderships that isolated and surrounded that heroic revolution.
That is how we find comrade Claude sharing the same trench of struggle, although in different points of the planet.
This is the message he sent on the 4th anniversary of the assassination of Abu Al Baraa:
It is with great emotion and humility that I share with you the homage paid to Abu Al Baraa, leader of the Leon Sedov Brigade, who fought bravely during the siege of Aleppo and today on the eastern front of Idlib, against the fascist forces of the regime of Bashar Al Assad and his allied forces.
With his life snatched at the age of 24 by a Russian sniper during the battle of the siege of Aleppo, Abu Al Baraa has left us the most precious and meaningful message: our Humanity will not be able to free itself from all barbarism, exploitation and oppression except by a relentless fight against the class enemy and its representatives.
Its unwavering fight against a fascist regime makes us even more committed to its commitment. He will have paid for this commitment with his life.
To conquer the humanity we seek, the road will be long and painful. Abu Al Baraa belongs to those who inspire us to walk it.
It is then with great militant recognition that I salute this authentic young revolutionary internationalist figure who represents Abu Al Baraa, of whom your political organization can be proud!
Down with the fascist regime of Bashar Al Assad!
Long live the Leon Sedov Brigade!
Together, let us continue the fight!

C'est avec beaucoup d'émotion et d'humilité que je partage avec vous l'hommage rendu à Abu Al Baraa dirigeant de la brigade Léon Sedov qui s'est vaillamment battu lors du siège d'Alep et aujourd'hui sur le front Est d'Idlib, contre les forces fascistes du régime de Bachar el-Assad et les forces affidées.
Fauché à l'âge de 24 ans par un tireur d'élite russe lors de la bataille du siège d'Alep Abu Al Baraa nous aura transmis le message le plus précieux et riche de sens :
Notre sous Humanité ne pourra se libérer de toutes barbarie, de l'exploitation et de l'oppression que par un engagement sans compromis avec l'ennemi de classe et de ses représentant.es
Son combat , sans failles, contre un régime fasciste
Nous rend d'autant plus redevable de son engagement.Il en aura payé le prix de sa vie.
Pour accéder à l'humanité à laquelle nous prétendons, le chemin sera encore long, très douloureux.
Abû Al Baraa est de ceux, celles qui nous confortent à le parcourir..
C'est donc avec beaucoup de reconnaissance militante que je salue cette authentique et jeune figure révolutionnaire internationaliste qui est celle de Abû Al Baraa, dont votre formation politique peut être fière !
A bas le régime fasciste de Bachar el-Assad !!
Vive la brigade Léon Sedov !
