Tribute in the 4th anniversary of Abu Al Baraa's death
From Zimbabwe
Speech by James Sakala, leader of the Zimbabwean Workers International League (WIL)
"We cannot forgive ourselves if we do not lead and take a leading role in finishing the good job that Comrade Abu did"
Hello comrades, how are you?
We are on the fourth anniversary celebrating the work done by Comrade Abu in Syria. He was one of our leaders who fought fiercely for the liberation of the workers and poor people in Syria. But I don't want to go too deep into his work, which he did in Syria.
What he did was a great job, which we, comrades, are not managing to follow, perhaps because we are afraid to fight the enemy we know? The workers and poor people in Africa, South Africa, South America, America, Europe, the Middle East are rising up. Why are they defeating us? Because we are not succeeding in leading the struggle.
We do not forget and do not forgive those who murdered Comrade Abu. And in the same way we cannot forgive ourselves if we do not lead and take a leading role to finish the job... the good job that Comrade Abu did. We have to be on the front line leading, fighting the enemy we know, who has been defeating us, killing our comrades and us, who should be on the front line.
Long live the Fourth International!
