October, 24th 2020 Tribute in the 4th anniversary of Abu Al Baraa's death From Bolivia Speech of Camilo Bravo, from the Workers Internationalist Socialist League (LSTI) of Bolivia “Abu al Baraa has left seeds for a new generation, so that it can take the lessons and balance of the revolution and counter-revolution in Syria into its hands” A fraternal, warm and revolutionary greeting to all who are present here. From the LSTI of Bolivia we want to pay tribute to our comrade, revolutionary worker, writer and fighter of the Syrian Revolution. Abu al Baraa has left seeds for a new generation, so that it can take the lessons and the balance of the revolution and counter-revolution in Syria into its hands. They have been at the forefront of the battle and make many analogies with what we have experienced here. A few years ago we said "Syria will knock on your door" and that has happened. Syria has knocked on the doors of every country in Latin America; we have seen it in Ecuador, in Chile where there have been great uprisings, but also massacres. As well as in Bolivia in the Senkata massacre. The situation of internationalism has also been a fundamental factor in this, since they have been taken away from us. Some organizations were rising up, like the factories in Bolivia, for example, which in May Day raised the flags of Syria, and in their Plenum they observed a minute of silence and were also on the lookout for power, including promoting what was being done in the Spanish Revolution, the International Workers' Brigades. But this has been stopped by these Stalinists, ex-Trotskyists currents like for example the POR. The POR, as part of this whole damned New Left, what it did was to get a vote in a mining Congress, to support these murderers of the people as it was with Gaddafi in Libya and as it was with Al Assad, painting them as "anti-imperialists. In that way, too, they led the miners into a trap and a dead end. This did not go unpunished, and it does not have to go unpunished. For the honor of our comrades of the Leon Sedov Brigade, for our comrade, comrade Abu al Baraa, for Mustafa, we must maintain this battle. As comrade Ramiro from Chile said, to whom we send a great greeting, we are the first to arrive and the last to leave the battlefield.
