The GNC generals sustain the counterrevolutionary coup
of Heftar and the Libyan bourgeoisie, lackey of the imperialism

While the rebel militias of the youth and workers of Tripoli and Benghazi are resisting the counterrevolutionary forces, the GNC ran away. The press informs that some members “would be in detention”.
The GNC’ generals plot from behind and organize the coup of Heftar. They dissolved the parliament while the Justice Minister announces that the “GNC continues working”.
This is a true plot. The GNC is still kept safe by the imperialism just in case the counterrevolutionary coup attempt fails and is smashed.

Heftar announces, together with the generals of “the new Libyan army”, that “will gather a constituent assembly of 60 members”…the same lie and protective shield through which the military coup was given in Egypt.

An attack against Benghazi has already started. Benghazi has been declared “terrorist zone”. Under the command of Obama, the murderous Al-Assad has done the same in Homs, the capital of the Syrian revolution.
The khadafist generals have reestablished the command chain with their NATO’s chiefs and have launched this bloody offensive under the war cry “we’ll not allow that Libya be a terrorist nest”

The BBC of London warns on the breaking of thousands of rank and file soldiers. It is not guaranteed that they’ll follow the coup since many of them have passed to the side of the rebel militias.

For the moment, Arabian Saudi and Algeria have closed their embassies saying that “in Libya there is not security”. Even Algeria reinforced the borders with Libya deploying 40.000 troops.

It is clear that after the first defeat they suffered in Benghazi on May 16, 2014, the officers of “the new Libyan army” under the NATO command and making agreements with the regional bourgeoisie are trying to set up a bonapartist regime, a true military dictatorship, with Hafter reincarnating Khadafy. Without doubts, the GNCL politicians will be his “Tribes’ council”. But they will only be able to apply it if they massacre the masses that resist bravely.

Today the selective attacks on Benghazi have started again in the local airport. The last word is still not said by the militias and rebel brigades of Misarrata, Brega and the rest of the mass concentrations.

The clashes between revolution and counterrevolution have started. The battle is defined in Benghazi, the capital of the Libyan revolution, while they resist in Tripoli.
