The Truth of the Oppressed...
Presentation
We who edit and publish "The truth of the oppressed" are the revolutionary fractions of the Syrian revolution coordination committees, those which stood up in the revolution that began in 2011 as a link in the same streak of revolutions in the entire Maghreb and Middle East. We are who raise our voice and our fist for bread and freedom; those who learned to see that in order to succeed we had to defeat Bashar Al-Assad in Damascus andmarch on Jerusalem; those who saw that ours was a same struggle with that of our class brothers and sisters to the interior of the great imperialist powers.
We are spokesmen for all the militiamen and the resistance that does not surrender in their fight against Al Assad or before any power that today invades and occupies Syria.
We are who stage these revolutions, which have been maligned, smeared and isolated from our class brothers and sisters of Europe, the Americas and around the world. Because we were called barbarians, religious sectarians, fundamentalist zealots, terrorists... anything but what we truly are: workers fighting for what is ours, class brothers and sisters of the workers in the West and around the world.
We are workers, people who make a living working from sunrise to sunset; we are tired of being oppressed by a system that steals from us and leave us in misery. Pushed by our paltry conditions we have been obliged to becomerevolutionists to be able to change this system for another, and internationalists because whatever ourhomeland, religion or language we realize that those who exploit us are the same everywhere, and we are always the ones to suffer.
The pages of this newspaper are and express the revolutionary voice of Syria from the coordinating committees, from the resistance that does not surrender and is looking for a way to win. They are open for all oppressed workers who were charged for "daring" to get up and fight their government just to demand bread, freedom and a dignified life-to raise their voice and show and tell their truth. All those who feel betrayed, because they fought heroically at these revolutions and only see that the Ben Ali Government continues in Tunisia; who see that Al-Sisi defend Zionist bordersthe same as or even more than Mubarak (honoring the Camp David deal that the Egyptian exploited people toppled in their 2011 Revolution); who feel that Libya is falling to pieces in the hands of the current Government, puppet of NATO, and also with general KhalifaHeftara CIA agent that controls oil wells;and furthermore they see how the Syrian revolution sheds its blood with each martyr whomDog Bashar and Putin’s aircraft murder with the help of the Iranian mercenaries and Hezbollah, with UNO’s blessing and commanded by Obama, and how from the inside of the Syrian rebel areas we are sold out by some generals who disguiseas “friends” and democratic people but only profit from our sweat and blood, our fight and resistance to carry on their businesses.
Here in Syria, imperialism has concentrated all its counter-revolutionary forces to cut the chain of revolutions which have been shaking Maghreb and Middle East since 2011. Had the Syrian revolution gone to Damascus and taken Bashar’s, the borders of heinous Zionist state would have been immediately in question, since he was Zionists’ faithful border guardian, who for years never attacked them, while he never trembled to massacre his own people and destroy his own country when Syrian people advanced towards Damascus with their aims put into Jerusalem. Before that could happen, counterrevolution had to crush them. That’s why the peoples’ enemies held Bashar so he could perform this genocide.
Bashar was not enough, however. They sent us generals (until then members in Bashar’s army) that defected and then dressed as democratic or very religious, in order to control our actions. They only looked after their business all along this war and never advanced to reach victory in Damascus. These are FSA or Jabhat alNusra’s generals or commanders of all these variants of army-parties that can be seen today in Syria, within the areas we released, preventing us from moving forward in a revolutionary sense and looking for even more business for them. They also sent ISIS on us, a party that guarded imperialist oil wells very bloodily so that we should not take them ourselves. ISIS came to impose an iron grip with its strict law and counter-revolutionary stick, as we can see in Raqqa and DeirezZorprovinces.
Imperialists thus instructed all of their agents in Syria so that revolution did not succeed. Bashar and Putin are doing the dirty work of massacring us for them. They wanted to make Syria a lesson that none of us ever again rise against oppression and poverty. So much wickedness, such genocide, so much devastation and destruction is because they want to crush a heroic revolution that is not just Syrian, but belongs to all workers and exploited in Middle East and the world.
If they could advance so much along this way, destroying so many cities, killing 600,000 people, forcing more than half of Syrian population to leave their homes, it was because they had complete impunity. Bashar and all thise that support and help him (such as Putin, Hezbollah, and Iran) did their dirty work while others looked the other side to allow this massacre, as Obama, the UN, France and all the other imperialist powers.
The fact is all parties that call themselves leftist depicted Bashar as their ally, as an anti-imperialist champion, and slandered us saying we were pawns of NATO’s, the imperialists, and specially of US. They said that the only progressive party was the Kurdish PKK -though this agreed with Bashar, with whom it shares the administration of the Kurdish cities in Northeast Syria- and are underdirect remote control of the Pentagon generals. They misrepresented the reality to isolate us from the world. That let Dog Bashar hands-free to crush our revolution.
Even so, today we are still resisting in Syria, as in the city of Aleppo, which is currently besieged and its heroic people being exterminated. The oppressors have started an operation massacre, a plan of extermination, to crush this heroic revolution that has lasted for already more than 5 years and a half and is still standing, still struggling for defeating genocidal Al-Assad. The siegearound the city of Aleppo, the ongoing bombardment, threats and ultimatums from the UN and US imperialists demanding surrender indicate that they want to crush the rebelcitieswhere in 2011 Bashar Al Assad’s troops and their State were expelled, principally Aleppo, the capital of the resistance.
Decisive battles are waged. In Aleppo, we the dispossessed, the stripped, the have-notsare the only ones fighting and resisting, while businessmen, millionaires, are abroad, in safe areas, counting their money and planning their future business. Syrian haves and their Turkish, USA, Russianpartners, are already disputing the spoils on the basis of the soon-to-be Syrian cemetery. We continue struggling to defeat dog Bashar and all his allies in Damascus, for expropriating all banks, oil wells and factories to win the war and conquer, from our coordinating committees and their militias, without bourgeois generals or businessmen who enrich with our blood and our fight, a revolutionary workers and poor peasants’ Syria, under a Syrian National Congress on the base of a delegate every thousand people from the refugee camps and rebel cities and from the militiamen.
This newspaper belongs to all of us thatshout very loud that the blood of the martyrs will not be negotiated! It belongs to us that do not surrender, that remain standing even under the conditions of unprecedented misery and utter isolation, facing a huge concentration of counter-revolutionary forces and sellouts.
Therefore, with this newspaper we try to find a way to the victory of our revolution; to coordinate and organize all those who fight for this victory, so this revolutionary upheaval, that spilt so much blood for bread and freedomis not defeated; to defeat the counterrevolutionary attempt to crush in Syria;to return to stand up all the revolutions of Maghreb and the Middle East. This newspaper is to break this fence of slander, lies and also silence that they have kept about what was happening in Syria and in the Middle East. It is to come together at the international level and be able to stop counter-revolutionary forces coming to crush all the oppressed.
This fence is beginning to crack. Worker organizations in the world as the factory workers of La Paz (Bolivia) or the International Congress held in Mexico last weekend, convened by the combative Central Nacional de Trabajadores de la Educaciónmexicana(Mexican Teachers National Union Central) have already spoken. (South African) Marikana Platinum miners have held a minute of silence in the tunnels condemning the massacre at the hands of Putin and Al-Assad. In numerous cities around the world the streets have been won and protests carried out on last October 1, the so-called "day of fury for Aleppo". Let's deepen this way!
We have to put up an international working-class network of effective support to the Syrian masses, to win the streets around the world, to send funds, medicines, food and volunteers to the heroic resistance of Syria that despite 5 and a half years of massacre does not surrender and is still fighting for the victory of the revolution. We must strive for every day to be a “day of fury” of the world working class to stop the massacre in Syria, marching to the triumph of the revolution. We call to form an International Committee of support for the Syrian masses, and an International Conference to unify our forces. It is necessary to break the fence around the Syrianmasses! We need solidarity and effective support to defeat the Dog Bashar, Putin, Obama and all the imperialist powers! Because to stop the war, you have to win it!
The exploited of the world have a same enemy. We need to unify our ranks to confront it. We call those in any part of the world we are, fight to the victory of the revolution in Syria, Libya, Yemen, Tunisia, Egypt, to be part of this newspaper but understanding that our revolutions are an essential part of a global revolution that must succeed so that the oppressed to stop being oppressed, and take power, our future and our destiny in our own hands. 50% of the wealth of this world is in the hand of 1% of the population of the planet, which does not produce or work and just live off our sweat. This must endso a worthwhile life can be possible for our children, our families, our brothers and sisters.
From Tunisia to Syria to Jerusalem, a single intifada! From the Americas to Europe to Russia and Asia, a same revolution! Workers of the world unite! |
