The battle of Kobani: a swamp for Obama’s left and a war border for a Syria quartered by imperialism and its agents
New counterrevolutionary actors to settle counterrevolution and territorial division in Syria:
ISIS and the Kurdish bourgeoisie
The present crisis in Kobani (which is a real “canton” spaced out from the Kurdish zones in northern Syria) cannot be understood unless we consider Geneva II imperialist plan for dividing Syria, as we have seen before.
But even less the swamp where Obama’s left has fallen can be avoided without defining clearly the content of revolution and its road as well as the content of and road for counter-revolution.
Revolutions in Maghreb and Middle East tended to assemble as links of the same chain. The spark of Tunisia set Egypt, Libya and Syria on fire and even today it is expanding to Palestine, Yemen and Iraq. It threatened with reaching Europe and the USA where people shouted “We must fight as in Egypt!” Revolution integrated areas of the world by demanding bread, speaking out against unemployment, misery and fierce dictatorships used by imperialism to impose its full domination.
If this is the content of and road for revolution, the content of and road for counterrevolution is its reversal. It is based on the dislocation of every revolutionary process country by country, submitting the working class and oppressed people to the native bourgeoisie in every nation; so there they can set up pseudo-democratic traps and divertions so then Generals’ sabers cut the heads of the rebelled masses.
The content of and the road for counterrevolution in Middle East means savagism, and going back to feudal domains and even medieval cantons. This means full decline since socialist revolution has not triumphed... and all this is done on behalf of “civilization”!
From this point of view, the battle of Kobani is another landmark in the plan of partition and Lebanonization of Syria. This partition started in 2013 with Al Assad guarded by the Ayatollahs in Damascus, FSA and Jabhat Al Nusra controlling the revolutionary masses in Northern Syria, Homs and Hama; in the meantime Kurdish provinces signed a non-aggression pact with Al Assad. This pact cost and will cost the Kurdish masses dearly, because it makes them confront all those exploited people who fought agaisnt dog Bashar and expelled his troops in Northern Syria.
Today Kobani is a “new Aleppo”. This means a war border in the partition of Syria. It is a city where the Kurdish masses, brutally exploited and oppressed have been forced to go to the borders and look for shelter in the same camps where the masses are now inhabiting as refugees fleeing from Homs, Damascus, Dera’a, Hama, Raqqa and other cities, which were razed by dog Bashar. The Kurdish masses are paying a high price for the pact by their own bourgeoisie with dog Bashar. This pact tied the Kurdish people of Syria to Al-Assad’s fate. This allows ISIS a free hand to attack Kobani, since the Sunni masses in Northern Syria do not see the Kurdish people as an ally to confront Al Assad. It is a tragedy imposed by the local bourgeoisies.
Unlike the present situation in Kobani, ISIS could not enter Aleppo. This was not due to FSA bravery, but because, despite it, there a fierce masses vanguard is resisting against dog Bashar. ISIS could not besiege Aleppo for too long, shooting from the back to the resistance against Al Assad, without risking loosing its own base that are controlled today in Syria manu militari¹.
ISIS’ traitorous policy, commanded by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, as in several Iraqi cities, was to englobe into their caliphate all the cities of Levant, including Kobani, a Kurdish city.
The imperialist policy is clear, if you are not trying to decieve and throw dust into the world masses’ eyes. Kobani is a war border for the US and all the actors who intervene there, namely Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, Al Assad and even the Kurdish bourgeoisie (which cynically has just sent 70 men authorized by Turkey and carrying US flags). A city besieged and divided to demarcate to the northwest the Kurdish area and to the south ISIS caliphate and also to force the Kurdish and Syrian masses to submit to imperialism and to their own bourgeoisie, which are the guarantors of Syria’s partition.
The cynicism of Obama’s left and the dusts they throw to the world working class in Kobani have no limits.
Suddenly, for them the war in Syria is only a battle between ISIS and the Kurdish people. This is not true. This catastrophe of the Kurdish people and the fact that ISIS controls the rebel masses that defeated Al Assad in northern Syria and also attacks brutally Kobani is a consequence and a result of the defeats of Homs, Hama and the resistance who could not take Damascus also due to the Kurdish bourgeoisie, the Sunni bourgeoisie, the FSA Generals -which capped the revolution and gave up Al Qsair, the corridor to the capital- and also due to the Shiite bourgeoisie which supported Al Assad in Damascus.
This is the drama of a revolution betrayed, fenced and drowned in blood -and sold out by the traitors of Obama’s left, who are still submitting the masses to different bourgeois fractions, either to jackal Al Assad or FSA, and now to the Kurdish bourgeoisie.
ISIS does not dispute the Kurdish provinces. It disputes Kobani, which is within the borders of its “caliphate”. So far ISIS is not interested in the Kurdish provinces. It is not interested either in the borders of Aleppo or in reaching Homs and even less Damascus.
The battle of Kobani, like the ones of Homs and Hama yesterday, as that of Aleppo today, cannot be won unless by defeating imperialism’s major agent and hit man, i.e. dog Bashar. Only from this perspective the Kurdish masses of Kobani will be able to defeat ISIS’ aggression and win the Sunni masses that defeated dog Bashar in northern Syria. Only from this perspective they will be able to deprive ISIS from its fire power and disarm this counterrevolutionary beast that is doing the “dirty work” to complete the task of smashing and submitting the revolutionary masses where the latter defeated Bashar. Also the Kurdish bourgeoisie will lose their shooting and contention power, which are leading the Kurdish masses to a dead end and to submission to imperialism and pacts with dog Bashar.
Thus Kobani would become a great ally of the fighting masses in northern Syria to move towards Damascus and it would even be the head of the Kurdish masses to end with their own bourgeoisie, which is a base and servile agent of imperialism.
Only talking about ISIS’ brutal attack against the Kurdish masses and saying nothing about its being also part of a greater attack and a war declared against the masses that defeated Al Assad in northern Syria is an enormous lie. According to the “conventional wisdom” the goal is submitting the Kurdish masses to imperialism so it “releases them from ISIS”. Actually, this pushes the Kurdish masses more and more toward their own bourgeoisie and imperialism, which defends jackal Al Assad in Damascus, and now is sending ISIS to make its “dirty work”.
The breaking up of the Kurdish exploited people with their own bourgeoisie, which has been tying them to agreements with imperialism and dog Bashar, is an indispensable condition so the Kurdish people can take decisive steps to conquer their right to national self-determination.
The more the Kurdish bourgeoisie enters Kobani displaying US flags which support dog Bashar, the more ISIS becomes strengthened among the masses in northern Syria, which defeated Al Assad.
ISIS faces the Kurdish people in Kobani and conquers social base for that by posing with the flags of the fighters of Fallujah, Mosul and the poor districts of Bagdad; posing and doing demagogy with the label of being the ones who faced US invasion to Iraq and “who led” the resistance against imperialism, as they state blatantly.
The left, lackey of USA in Iraq and Syria, by submitting the working class to Obama, is far from being able to show the masses a way to defeat the reactionary ISIS bourgeoisie that went to expropriate their revolution. Obama’s left has been buried in the muddy swamp. It denounces ISIS as “terrorist”, so dressing as “democratic” the biggest killer, imperialist butcher Obama. They repeat policies and programs that hide Obama’s plan to divide Syria, which strengthens all bourgeois fractions that submit the masses all over the region. The tragedy of the Kurdish masses in Kobani is the consequence of the imposition of Geneva II plan.
The demand of “the right to self-determination for the Kurdish nation”, as a democratic slogan, is a tactic one while it is part of the fight to unify the working class for it to break with the bourgeoisie and move forward towards revolution all over Syria. Obama’s left uses instead the democratic slogan, not as a drive to fight and unify the masses against all their executioners, but as a noose in the masses’ neck to strangle their revolution.
In the hands of the Kurdish bourgeoisie the Kurdish masses are only used in the battle of Kobani as small exchange in the bargain among bourgeois fractions of businesses in the area with imperialism. The slogan of self-determination for the Kurdish nation on the contrary must be a weapon for the masses so they can release themselves from the bourgeois leadership that has tied their fate to Bashar’s and also for conquering on that base the unity with the Sunni masses so all of them together can stop the sinister aggression by Saddam Hussein’s Generals and the Sunni bourgeoisie financed by Saudi Arabia.
There will never be a real fight for the Kurdish masses’ self-determination and for their unity with the Sunnite masses of northern Syria without re-building the political and military front that was there in the self-organized worker-and-soldier committees when the Syrian exploited rebelled in 2011 against dog Bashar, from Kobani to the Kurdish cities to Damascus. The demand of self-determination of the Kurdish people is inseparable from the fight of the masses to recover their weapons and point them toward Damascus and, as happened before, return to their self-organization in the Coordination Committees.
So there is no chance of freeing the Kurdish people or guaranteeing them the right to their self-determination without calling to fight for all the masses in Syria and the entire region to take again the road towards Damascus and for defeating dog Bashar. With such a program the Kurdish masses would certainly guarantee their victory against the murderous generals of ISIS. Because so, they would make revolt the Sunnite masses which resist against dog Bashar and which are submitted, disarmed and fiercely controlled by ISIS.
Only from this perspective the demand of self-determination for the Kurdish people allows the breaking up of these people with their own bourgeoisie and poses in the agenda the unity of the working class of the entire region against dog Bashar, the Kurdish bourgeoisie, the US protectorate in Iraq and the vicious Turkish bourgeoisie.
This is why we insist that the fight for the right to self-determination for the Kurdish people is inseparable from the fight to break all the pacts of the Kurdish bourgeoisie with killer Al Assad, who kept this people oppressed and massacred in northeast Syria. Down with the pact of the Kurdish bourgeoisie with dog Bashar, the killer of the Syrian and Kurdish masses!
Obama’s left, which sell its scum to the proletariat, must be exposed; because without this program that articulates the right to self-determination of the Kurdish people with the fight for the unity with the working and peasant masses of Syria and the entire region to smash dog Bashar, the claiming for the “self-determination of the Kurdish people” is nothing but a reactionary utopia and empty words. Actually, the goal of Obama’s left’s is to legitimize US control in northeastern Syria and northern Iraq through the Kurdish bourgeoisie.
The slogan of self-determination for the Kurdish people keeps its vigor to be proposed as a demand to the masses that fought to smash Al Assad. The war cry must be: “Freedom for the Kurdish people from the ropes that have strangled them in Turkey, Iraq by US imperialism and in northern Syria by the coward Kurdish bourgeoisie that supports dog Bashar! Out with ISIS, which is sent by kings, princes and sheiks of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the bourgeoisie of Saddam Hussein, coward in front of imperialism!
Enough of starvation and massacres against the Syrian people! Let’s fight together to reach Damascus and smash Al Assad! Let’s expropriate the people’s expropriators! Out with imperialism! A single revolution in Syria and Iraq! Let’s prepare the capture of Damascus and Bagdad! Defeat of the murderous government of Erdogan, who has killed and imprisoned the Kurdish people for ages in NATO’s Turkey, which is Obama’s counterrevolutionary fist in the region together with Zionism! Freedom for the Kurdish fighters who are in the prisons of the Turkish bourgeoisie!
Obama’s left is trying to put a blindfold on the eyes of the Syrian, regional and world masses. We defend the right to self-determination for the Kurdish masses in the entire Middle East, first of all in Turkey, where 20 million Kurds live oppressed. This is the only chance for the Kurdish people to be free and join the Turkish working class to defeat Erdogan’s government, NATO gendarme in Middle East, and be the best ally for the Syrian masses who look forward to defeating Al Assad. The Kurdish bourgeoisie, Stalinist PKK and the chiefs of the Peshmergas have called to recognize Ankara’s government and end all war against the Turkish oppressor, as they have done with Al Assad and with the US protectorate regime in Iraq. They have given enough guarantees to imperialism that they are a key piece, as a bourgeoisie, to stabilize the region in Iraq, Iran, Syria and Turkey.
Any fight for self-determination that is not articulated around fighting for the Kurdish working class to break with the bourgeoisie that manipulate them means a betrayal, not only to the unity of the working class in the region, but firstly to the fight against national oppression that the Kurdish nation is suffering. US “democratic” imperialism, England and Stalinism denied this people the right of creating their state after drawing the borders in Maghreb and Middle East at the end of World War II. They were left as an oppressed people and occupied by big Turkey and as second hand citizens in Syria, Iraq and Iran.
The cynicism of Obama’s left has no limits. They submit the Kurdish masses to the leadership of Stalinism which together with USA recognized the state of Israel, a fake nation created by imperialism to occupy the Palestinian nation to iron and fire, as a gendarme around the entire region.
Any serious Marxist policy in the region must start by calling to end with any imperialist aggression against Northern Syria, including any military attack against ISIS. The reason of this is that any of these attacks are not aimed to smash ISIS, but to discipline it and prevent it from moving beyond the borders set by USA in the Levant. This is how USA, with the bombs launched today “against ISIS” prepares the conditions to intervene directly to get the entire Syria, looking for the conditions to establish there its protectorate (as it did in Iraq, NT).
We warn the world working class that Kobani is a war border, where USA supports ISIS as long as it does not have enough weaponry to end occupying the city, but to keep it besieged, tormenting the Kurdish masses.
We denounce that USA supports Peshmergas and the Kurdish “militias” as long as they prevent the advancing of ISIS, but it does not guarantees their victory.
USA distributes, through its aircraft’s bombings, the different borders in tormented and Lebanonized Syria. This is paid for by the masses with millions of refugees, starved and massacred people, even among the Kurdish masses.
Any revolutionary policy must confront and denounce Obama’s bombings that only take from ISIS its heaviest weaponry while, together with Turkey, let the Kurdish people to resist with their old Kalashnikovs.
We denounce that USA carried weapons, through Putin, to butcher Al Assad so he could do the “dirty work” on behalf of all imperialist powers by massacring the Syrian masses.
Cynically Obama today launches some bombs over ISIS, which has not committed even 0.0001% of the crimes that dog Bashar has. The latter has not shot a single bullet nor dropped a single barrel bomb over ISIS, which today has stolen the revolution and occupies 60% of the Syrian territory.
This attack allows USA, also, guaranteeing that Al Assad does not move beyond the borders assigned to him, from Damascus to the divided Aleppo.
The imperialist master has given to every bourgeoisie faction a part of Syria so they carry on their business while massacring the masses, so strangling the revolution.
Obama’s left submits the Syrian and world working class, either to dog Bashar or the Sunni bourgeoisie and FSA or to the Kurdish bourgeoisie. Reformist left is the one in charge of dividing the working class and their forces in order to prevent them from taking again the road to revolution.
We state that any Marxist program that is not articulated around confronting imperialism -and its pacts of dividing Syria- and dog Bashar, not only amounts to an attempt to emptying the sea with a bucket, but also is a shameless betrayal to the Syrian revolution. Only from the above mentioned perspective the “Trojan horses” can be exposed and defeated that, like FSA and ISIS, impose the masses that they cannot go beyond the borders of Aleppo or reach Damascus with a victorious insurrection.
The zones controlled by ISIS and FSA are the zones where imperialism’s dog Bashar was smashed and defeated. FSA and ISIS exist to prevent that victory from spreading to the whole of Syria. Only from this perspective of defeating Al Assad and imperialism, bourgeois generals of ISIS and FSA can be disarmed and the working class and exploited masses can be armed and unified.
Only thus the masses in Northern Syria can have a strong ally in the rearguard, the oppressed Kurdish people.
Socialists’ demands cannot be different than “For the disavowal of the caliphate of ISIS in the Levant and its reactionary borders!” THE LATTER ARE A REAL FENCE TO SMASH AND CONTROL THE REVOLUTIONARY MASSES WHICH REBELLED AGAINST U.S. PROTECTORATE IN IRAQ, against dog Bashar (Obama’s hit man) in Syria! These borders are a guarantee for Homs, Hama and Damascus’ remaining in hands of dog Bashar and that Bagdad remaining under the control of the US protectorate in Iraq, while the Kurdish masses are still submitted, through their own bourgeoisie, to Al Assad in Syria, to their Turkish oppressor, to the US invaders in Iraq and the Ayatollahs in Iran.
The borders of the Levant that ISIS wants to take are a decisive obstacle to be broken in order to unify the exploited Sunni and Shiite masses in Iraq in the fight against Obama and his government of the US protectorate; and also in order to unify workers and poor people from the refugee Syrian camps to Kobani to the Kurdish provinces in Northern Syria, in order to fight in Damascus against dog Bashar.
It is clear now that ISIS is a new decisive leg in the table called Geneva II. They are the generals commanded by Saudi Arab and Qatari bourgeoisies, who are sitting in the negotiation table together with the Shiite bourgeoisie and all Arab bourgeoisies, under the command of imperialism.
Ultimately the imposition of a caliphate dissolved the exiled “Syrian government” in Qatar, and sent the “calipha”-agent Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi directly to the Levant.
We call the Syrian masses in the free zones to disavow ISIS and its murderous generals: to stop their war machinery that points its weapons to Kobani and not to dog Bashar; to disavow this counterrevolutionary device that does not shoot a single bullet against US imperialism and even less puts the oil companies it has taken under workers’ control, but acts as a junior partner of the TNCs looking after them their business in the occupied areas.
We call to set up in Kobani -and conquer again Homs, Raqqa (controlled by ISIS) and Aleppo-, THE WORKER, PEASANT AND SOLDIER COMMITTEES, i.e., THE COMMITTEES OF COORDINATION.
We call the masses not to surrender their weapons either to the generals of ISIS, or to FSA, or to the pro-US generals of the Peshmergas. We call them to set up self-organization like in 2011, because whoever has the weapons has the bread. We call them to expropriate capitalist oil companies, banks and companies that generals from all bourgeois gangs defend in the areas they control in partitioned Syria, under the imperialist command.
Fort the expropriation of the capitalists! Let’s put the oil companies under workers’ control! Expropriation without compensation of the imperialist TNCs and their Banks! Let’s conquer decent jobs for all and wages that guarantee decent lives for all exploited people of Syria, Iraq, Iran, and the whole of Maghreb and Middle East!
Bold measures like these would be an electric shock that would show again an alternative for the new revolutionary uprisings of the masses of Syria and to make the 10 million exploited refugees come back who wander around in the refugee camps.
The exploited masses in Syria today need a program that starts by defeating the division imposed by imperialism and its Geneva II plan. This plan guarantees that the borders enjoyed by Zionism are untouchable. This is the plan in the divided Syria, where all bourgeois fractions that control the country submit themselves to and swear loyalty to the Zionist-fascist state of Israel that occupies the Palestinian nation.
Workers and exploited people of Syria must be united to confront dog Bashar and take back the path of revolution together with their class brothers and sisters who are rebelling in Iraq, Palestine or Yemen or who are violently attacked like in Libya or Tunisia.
Counterrevolutionary pacts of Geneva II must be defeated
The class collaboration policy must end that the working class leadership imposes and ties the exploited peoples to their executioners
A Marxist strategy must denounce implacably the vile policy of class collaboration with the exploiters and killers of the revolution in Maghreb and Middle East that the leadership of the proletariat imposes. These are true counterrevolutionary pacts of class collaboration at international level. Geneva II is one of them, which implicates the den of traitors called World Social Forum and we will keep insisting on this.
We are witnessing a class collaboration policy like the one propelled by Stalin in the ‘30s before World War II with “democratic” imperialism, when he signed the pact called “Stalin-Laval”’s. Laval represented French imperialism, the Popular Front government headed by Blum. In this pact Stalinism committed to submit the working class to the bourgeoisie and to terminate with any path of the masses towards revolution.
This policy led to the defeat of the Spanish and French revolutions, opening the road to fascism and WWII; it submitted the working class to “democratic” imperialism during the war.
We have already seen in Yalta and Potsdam how Stalin together with USA and England from the Society of Nations and later from the UN, guaranteed the “pacific coexistence” after the war, selling out and defeating all the socialist revolutions in the west and giving up the worker states in 1989.
Today, the shots today shot against the world proletarian revolution, in particular in Syria, are possible thanks to a “new Stalin-Laval Pact”, a new “Yalta-Potsdam agreement” established by a gathering of treacherous leaderships comprising the filthy remains of Stalinism and social-democracy and the renegades to Trotskyism, from the World Social Forum. This new pact is directed to contain the revolution and submit the working class to the different factions in which imperialism organized the local and national bourgeoisies to smash the revolutionary mass upheavals. Geneva II is all about it.
We are facing a vile politic of class collaboration, a true “Trojan Horse” used by the World Social Forum to sell out the mass combats from inside; to fence them from outside and when it is not possible, to support the masses’ executioners.
This counterrevolutionary pact of Geneva II includes the Oslo agreements of 1993, by which the Palestinian bourgeoisie of PLO recognizes the right for the fascist State of Israel to exist sand have its nation by oppressing smashing and enslaving the Palestinian nation. This pact means -after the world working class had deprived the Zionists of their fire power- transforming the Gaza militias into domestic police against the Palestinian people, like PLO already does in the West Bank.
This is the policy of the bourgeois Hamas’ leadership for recognizing the Zionist State of Israel. That is to say, Hamas recognizes Al Fatah as its government, which in its turn recognizes the Zionist State of Israel. It is a vile trick against the tormented Palestinian masses. These are the counterrevolutionary pacts with which the imperialism, native bourgeoisies and the social imperialist left conspire behind the stage against the masses to dislocate their revolutionary offensives.
The fire against Syria is these counterrevolutionary pacts of conspiracy against the revolution that include the recognition of the Zionist State of Israel and its occupation of the Palestinian nation.
The class battle is not yet defined
The masses never gave up; only their leaderships did, strangling the former’s heroic struggles
While we are editing this book, 2014 is finishing, the year of treason and counterrevolutionary fire. But not all the revolution capitals have fallen down or have been defeated, as we can see in Donbass (Ukraine) and Marikana (South Africa) with their heroic miners, or even in Gaza. Nobody can make the world’s exploited people believe that those resisting in the intifadas of Gaza or West Bank are “NATO´s troops”. US working class has rebelled, unmasking before the world masses’ eyes that Obama is who arms Zionism. This is a great handicap in favor of the world working class resistance.
In rough Mexico the worker and peasant movement reappears. The WSF agents, such as the Democratic Revolution Party (PRD) and the pacifist “Zapatistas” that in 2006 disarmed the Oaxaca Commune, today refuse to set Guerrero on fire. They do not lead these struggles. The Guerrero commune has risen burning down the Governor’s office and the city hall, with revolutionary actions on the streets.
As a beam of light, a few months ago Brazilian masses, with their struggle, threatened to defeat all the leaderships of the reformist left which subordinated them to a “new Brazilian miracle” based in the worst slavery and exploitation of millions of starving people. Brazil anticipates that there cannot be any serious struggle unless the masses surpass and defeat in their assault on the citadel of power the treacherous leaderships that sell out all their struggles.
There is a speed race not only to define to what extent imperialism can throw the crisis on the masses (something it has achieved as far as the revolution did not succeed or stood up) but also to define to what extent imperialism can smash (whether directly o through its agents) the focuses of revolution, in order to advance to superior adventures on the planet, and to be able that way to survive with new wars, disputes for the new markets and, if the proletarian revolution does not stop it, the prospect of a new inter-imperialist war. This situation would lead the masses of Europe, Japan and USA to unthinkable catastrophes.
World situation remains still undefined. Conditions are and have been more than mature for the development of the proletarian revolution. The crisis of the world proletarian leadership has increased, i.e. the overabundance of treacherous leaderships has enlarged. This has happened due two facts: the survival of the apparatuses legated by the betrayals of 1989 against the world proletariat and the crisis provoked by the changing to the side of reformism of most of the renegades of Trotskyism, which sold out the banners of the 4th International to the class enemies. Reformism and opportunism supported by the bourgeoisie and its states imposed a fence to revolution. But the facts have also exposed that they could not prevent either revolution or its reaching a far stance in Maghreb and Middle East. They cannot prevent new uprisings from breaking the fences that they are setting up constantly, as is happening in Ukraine or Southern Africa. There, like in Marikana, black working class is already facing the Stalinist union bureaucracy and Mandela’s ANC and their partners of the WSF.
US working class and its left wing have once again started a process of breaking with Obama. In their fights and sufferings, black working class –although Obama’s left pretends to look the other way- keeps going through the path of slavery. These modern slaves of the tormented Africa die in the Mediterranean Sea trying to get to the European costs and to survive there. They die and suffer worse than slaves centuries ago. Today, they are following the path of the black brothers and sisters in USA, who call themselves proudly African American, like Michael Brown²; because they are killed by Obama’s police in Missouri and by Anglo-American’s one in Marikana.
Slaves’ route is also the route of the Latin American working class, who give their life and fight to enter USA and take there, within the imperialist beast, the demands and fights of the Latino and Caribbean working class. The revolutionary uprising of the masses in Mexico against the Neo-colonial regime of Wall Street that we are today witnessing threatens with a future uprising of the whole US masses.
Reformists are very carefully keeping these routes obstructed, blocked, because they know that the synchronization of the working classes’ fight of both oppressed and imperialist countries will open the road to socialist revolution. They know that from the fights of China and Hong Kong the leading battalions will emerge to awaken the fight of the Japanese workers, who have been submitted to the worst sufferings after WW II for the pact held between the slavers of USA and Japan.
Reformists look down at the Trotskyists’ fight for re-establishing a synchronized fight of the working class in the oppressed countries and in the imperialist powers; because in those combats working class’ internationalism recreates and will triumph. And when that day comes, the defeat of reformism will start. This fight will start coming true when revolutionary Marxism regroups its forces and starts, in this fight to recover proletarian internationalism, to set up an international general staff capable of re-founding the 4th International, the World Party of Socialist Revolution.
This is what the fight against reformism is about today. Any of the decisive fights took place or will take place without breaking the barriers and obstacles set up by reformism against the masses. All forces of revolutionary Marxism point to break this fence, to coordinate world working class forces, to defeat reformism, which means opening the path to the working class for liberating itself.
The very same Syrian revolution, after the fire of counterrevolution, massacre and genocide, has not yet showed all its potency. This is only a battle, a link in the chain of Middle East and world socialist revolution.
As we can see, after the betrayals of the leaderships of the masses, imperialism was able to synchronize its policy of pacts and counterrevolutionary blows to act immediately in the revolutionary processes. This is how it prevented their development and extension even at their beginning. We see this in Palestine, Iraq, Libya, Syria, etc.: counterrevolutionary pacts acting together with the Generals’ sabers. They are the “Peaceful coexistence” pacts of the 21st Century used by reformist leaderships to save again the rotten capitalist system. This handicap was given to the regime of imperialist dominance by the treacherous leaderships for it to survive itself.
World working class has not yet surrendered. U.S. and European proletariats do not yet allow a big imperialist counterrevolutionary offensive.
If US and European working classes are defeated, the “Republicrats” regime will bring for President in USA new slaughterers and fascists even worse than Bush, since this time not only they will have to smash the masses, but also dispute with other imperialist powers –like Germany, France, etc- the counterrevolutionary offensive to complete colonizing Russia and China.
If the Syrian genocide extends to the entire region, if this plan is imposed in Ukraine, a bloody river will spill over the working class in the imperialist powers in Europe and USA. Amidst the mid-term elections of USA –which Obama lost- the Republicrats’ regime has started earmarking the names for the new tasks ahead to rule the world, from Hillary Clinton to the return of Bush dynasty.
We insist, imperialism needs smashing all the revolutionary focus, in order to have its hands free to generalize the Syrian massacre to the entire planet. Yet, its ability to achieve that goal is questionable.
The world situation is undefined. The working class has not yet pronounced its last word. What is clear is that from WSF –i.e. a den of bandits and expropriators of the proletarian revolution- nobody will be again able to speak on behalf of socialism or about a serious fight of the exploited.
Reformist left is now wandering among the corpses of the masses who died in the Syrian genocide, still looking for reasons to justify the continuation of the existence of this brutal capitalist system.
Reformists always said that there were no conditions. This is poison. The ones who had no conditions to keep on ruling were the bourgeoisie and imperialism, who were cornered by masses’ uprisings in 2011 all over Maghreb and Middle East. They did set up a general staff to conquer conditions and be able today to smash the masses. This is what the heroic proletariat of Maghreb and Middle East did not have: a revolutionary leadership to be up to the combats held by the masses and which reformists never called to fight.
The renegades of Socialism, Obama’s left, the members of the World Social Forum, will have to give account before History for the massacre of the Syrian working class and people, for which they are responsible.
Our socialist revolutionary international current states that they will have to give account of their deeds and sayings before the masses. Our forces fought in Aleppo, Homs and all over Syria and alongside the fierce militias of Benghazi and Misratah, who settled accounts with dog Khadafy.
We are picking up the traditions of international solidarity of the working class, as when thousands and thousands workers from workers organizations all over the world marched to fight in Spain during the ‘30s to smash fascism and Franco’s coup.
With our small forces, we reached the battle field, in an example of internationalist solidarity and fight. In this book we pay tribute to our young worker fighters who died in the battle front.
In the meantime, Obama’s left has thrown dust to the eyes of world proletariat in every worker organization. They promised that with democracy and votes they would solve Middle East rebelled masses’ sufferings. They do not suffer the consequences of the policy and program they propel when supporting the executioners of the Syrian, Maghreb and Middle East masses. Now they have to explain what they have done.
